"Rai keeps asking me to teach her to swim. If I drown trying, it's your job to drag me out, miss Pirate," he joked and yawned. Mizuki smiled back then gasped softly when she heard a tud of him falling asleep next to her.

"As you wish rouge." she said affectionatly then stroked his hair and face. Smiling to herself as if she knew some secret, she continued washing the clothes while the rouge slept beside her.

Soran was completely out. He breathed quietly on his back and lay there while Mizuki finished the wash. After nearly an hour, a faint amount of consciousness returned to him and he opened his eyes hazily, remembering where he was. I fell asleep? he thought in disbelief. It wasn't like him to drift off.

He saw the laundry finished and drying out on the warm flat rocks, and realized he had left Mizuki to do the job alone. Pushing halfway up onto his elbows, he glanced around him to see where Mizuki was.

Mizuki had finished the wash and was waiting for it to dry. in the meantime she went inside, grabbed her bathrobe and disrobed her other clothes to slip into the bathrobe. While Soran still lay sleeping she had slipped into the cool water in the deepest part. She was a ways down the stream where she had some plant cover.

She had felt like swimming in the usually nice weather. She floated in the water relaxing.

Not seeing Mizuki next to him any more, the rogue pushed up to his feet and looked around. All the wash was still there, so she was nearby. He took a few steps along the riverbank before spotting something in the water just upstream. "Mizuki?" he called out, not sure who it was. He began walking toward it so he could see clearly when he stepped on something. When he looked down, he found himself standing on the clothes Mizuki had been wearing earlier. He narrowed his eyes in disbelief. "Mizuki, is that you?" he called out clearly after turning his back to the figure. He analyzed the hills that led from the town down to the stream to make sure no one else had stumbled upon her.

Mizuki was hummed when she heard Soran's voice.

"I'm voice here!" she said serenely and made sure the water covered her completely. She was smiling and grabbed a large leaf to cover the top of her above the water. "The water's real nice! I couldn't resist a swim." she called out to him figuring he wasn't going to dare come over to where she was. "You had fallen asleep, when I finished I figured swimming wouldn't do any harm. I actually didn't expect you to wake up now... You were so peacefull sleeping I didn't want to disturb you.."

Siren shook her head at Rai in mock astoundment.

"You're a fine dancer, child, but I don't want to find you doing that up on any tables, ok? I think Soran would have my head!"

Siren started walking again, gently pulling rai along as she started out. The bakery was two stores over and the sweet aroma of cakes and pateries of all sorts baking filled the air.

Rai giggled and skipped along at Siren's side, holding her hand, smelling the air with her small cute nose and laughing. "Mmmmm! Something smells very good!" she said in a happy voice, looking up at Siren with a happy grin.

She ran towards the shop, almost plastering her face to the glass to see inside. She hopped up and down. "Ooooo!!! Cookies and cake and... and... and! Wow!"

Siren ran up to the window and stood beside Rai, drooling in front of the window.

"You can say that again..." she muttered, deeply inhaling the wonderful, warm scents.

"Shall we go in and get a snack?" She asked Rai, laughing sneakily and holding her folded hand up to her mouth covertly.

Before waiting for a response, she called out, "Last one in's a rotten egg!" and darted for the door handle, yanking at it .

Rai laughed as she ran to push open the door. "Thats a funny thing to say right before you eat!" she told Siren as she wondered into the shop, gazing around amazed at all the sweet things. She spun in circles looking up at the cakes and cookies and candies that littered the room.

"Wooooooaaaahhh....." she softly said, walking up to the counter that was much higher than her head and putting her hands up there. She tried to pull herself up to see over it but only succeeded in getting to top of her head to peek over the side.

Soran stiffened, hardly believing he'd really let himself nod off in broad daylight. He himself hadn't realized that he trusted her enough to fall into such a vulnerable state. "That isn't a terribly private place to bathe," he said blandly, picking up her clothes from the ground and shaking them out as he walked along the stream toward her with his head turned safely inland.

Mizuki giggled. "You'd be surprised Soran. As a kid I swam here a lot without problems." She laughed as he appeared before her, making it a point to look the other way.

"As you say," the rogue resigned, setting her clothes on a clean rock and leaning against it with his back to the stream. He flexed his arm and called his blades out, then returned them and called them out again, trying to get used to the strange pulling sensation in his veins as the weapons synchronized with his bloodstream.

Mizuki smiled cutely where her nose scrunched at the top. She swam to where Soran stood, his back to her, and reached for her robe. She got out of the water and quickly wrapped herself in the robe.

"Hmm.. I recall you saying I might have to save you if you drown teaching Rai how to swim." she said playfully to him. "Are you hinting you can't swim Soran?" She added in an innocent tone.

"I can stay afloat. That's good enough for me," Soran said indifferently, retrieving his blades again.

Mizuki laughed and hugged him from behind. she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and looked at his blades. "Those are interesting.... does it hurt?" she asked touching his arm lightly. Suddenly the atmosphere became intament. [i can't spell four my life -_- (lol)]
