Vlad watched Talon leave and shrugged. He leaned Tenele over so that she began sliding sideway, then teleported to the ground and shifted her weight into his arms as she descended. "Suppose I'll be taking care of her," he said toward the others with half-formed arrogance, then carried Tenele into the inn.

The innkeep looked somewhat concerned when Vlad walked up with the girl from before unconscious in his arms, and demanded his key. However, given the threatening demeanor of his patron and what he'd seen him do to Talon earlier that night, he forked over the key humbly. Vlad levitated it out of his hand and let it fall to rest on his finger that was supporting Tenele's legs, much to the innkeep's terror, and then turned with a smirk and carried Tenele up to a room.

He left the door open behind him and carried Tenele over to the bed, laying her down and then crossing his arms thoughtfully. He seemed to be considering something, but at length pulled a stool from the corner and sat down next to the bed. He rested his elbows across his knees and watched her silently.

A dull ache in his stomach urged him to find something to eat, but it was tolerable compared to what he'd felt under the curse. Still, after a few minutes his exhaustion nagged at him. He leaned forward against the bed, resting his chin on his crossed arms below Tenele's pillow. He watched her without a sound, but eventually slipped off into sleep.

"How are you?" asked Kami from the other side of the tree. He was changing back into his clothes, they had sent Yila off into the hotel after Vlad, worried for her health. Now they sat outside with the nightlife people, resting in the night's cool breeze.

"I'll be fine." Kaze said, sitting against the tree. Truth was, she wasn't going to be fine. She almost died from a stupid attempt to befriend a clearly dangerous creature. Before, she would never have let her guard down like that. kaze sighed and closed her eyes. It was best to try and forget these events.

Kami could sense her inner tension, but he was afraid to push her more. So, he straigtened his clothes and came out from behind the tree.

"Up for some noodles?" he asked her with a smile. Despite her feelings, Kaze smiled and nodded. If it was anyone else, she would've said no.

Talon went to bed sooner than expected. He had bathed, then cleaned his wound and then wrapped it up to keep out infection.

He climbed into bed wearing only a pair of comfortable black pants and before he could even get his eyes shut his body had gone to sleep from exhaustion...

Morning came with a bright light shinning through the window into his room. It woke him, since he found it hard to sleep with a bright light, much like his sister Tenele…

She felt oddly heavy, but then she felt light… Her eyes fluttered, but they refused to open. Her body was totally awake and she wanted to move around, but her mind didn’t seem to have control over her body. It refused to listen to orders. She told herself to move, but she just couldn’t… She groaned and moaned, hoping someone would here her, but finally she was able to move and her eyes fluttered open and focused.

She was in a room, that was easy to tell. She groaned, feeling an emptiness in her stomach as it complained to her.

She pushed herself up slowly, looking at the window that was open and sunlight filtered in… It was beautiful outside…

Her hand moved across the bed and bumped something… Tenele turned to look and with a soft smile she fond Vlad sitting, in what looked to her, an uncomfortable position. Had he been there all night sitting by her side, she asked herself. She bit her bottom lip, contemplating on a number of actions she could use to wake him up.

There was the time he pored water on her head… that would make for an interesting wake up call… She could bang things together, but that was too mean. Finally the idea struck her…

She slid down the bed a little to where her head was close to his face and she turned her head towards on side of his face and dragged her tongue across his cheek. Her silver hair fall over her shoulders, gazing over his skin slightly as she did so. Rising back up with a playful, but still tired grin.

Vlad was completely out. Through the depth of his sleep, he felt a strange sensation against his face. It was an unfamiliar feeling, though subtly arousing, but not quite enough to wake him up. He made a soft groan and sank back into sleep.

Tenele blinked and looked at Vlad for a moment, there wasn't any reaction. How disappointing. Tenele leaned down once again and licked him another time... Then she bit the top of his ear lightly and sat back. "You better wake up this time Vladimir Dracul."

Kaze's eyes fluttered in the morning light. She was, comfortable. She was warm too. Arms drapped around her...

Kaze froze. She quickly checked her body for her clothes but they were there. Kami's soft breathing assured her that it was only him. This was new. She felt safe in a man's arms....

Kaze smiled to herself and quietly drifted back to sleep.

In his sleep, Vlad again felt something on his face, and then a sharp sensation on his ear. This time his eyes snatched open with a quick, heavy breath, trying to ascertain in a split second where he was, why he was there, and why he felt so..good...

"Tenele," he murmured half asleep as the sight of her face reminded him of where he was. His fingers went to his cheek in confusion, then he blinked. A grin came to his features and he looked up at her seductively. "That's a heck of a way to wake me up," he said.

Tenele smiled, leaning forward slightly towards his face. "I thought you might like it," she told him leaning in even closer until her lips were centimeters away from his.

"Sleep well?" she asked, her green eyes flashing up to look into his.

She couldn't help herself. That strange feeling of wanting to be kissed by him, or wanting to kiss him over took her once again and she moved a little furth and her lips touched his and she kissed him softly.

Vlad melted into the unexpected kiss, gradually returning it with the slow, but far less chaste movement of his smooth mouth against hers.

Tenele was glad he kissed her back because she felt rather foolish for kissing him. She urged him to come with her onto the bed by leaning back as she kissed him.

About that time, unfortunatly for Talon, he walked by. Vlad had forgotten to close the door. Thankfully no one had come in in the night to rob them or do what ever they wished since the two were obviously to weak to stop it. Talon thought about breaking the two apart... but he ground his teeth together and walked away.

Tenele broke there connection for a moment to let her green eyes look at Vlad's.

Vlad followed Tenele into the bed and lay next to her, propped up one elbow as he kissed her. When the connection separated, he looked into her eyes, lips spreading into a darkly handsome smile. "You seem to be feeling better, Maiden Girl," he said smoothly.

Tenele smiled. "Actually I'm tired as hell," she told him truthfully with a good bit of amusement in her voice. "But, I just felt like taking advantage of your weakened staight."

She rested her head on the pillow biting her bottom lip in thought. "How are you doing?"

"Oh?" Vlad scoffed. "I wasn't aware you had those interests," he teased, "I almost regret how mistaken you are about my 'weakness'." Although, even as he spoke, Vlad felt the arm he was leaning his weight on growing strangely tired from the angle he was supported at - an unthinkable lack of muscular stamina for him. It wasn't so much that he'd lost his strength, as that he was unaccustomed to feeling strain in his muscles at all. Trying to be inconspicuous, he lowered himself down next to her and tucked his arm under the side of his head as he lay facing Tenele. If he took too much longer to find food, he'd be hard-pressed to find enough energy to hunt, but he didn't want to leave yet. It was an odd feeling, both of them lying there half-drained, two bodies sharing one's ration of blood. Vulnerable, but strangely pleasant.

"Oh, what was I saying?" he smirked playfully, "Help, I'm so weak. Take me now," he moaned dramatically in his low voice. His garnet eyes raised piercingly to meet hers.

Tenele grinned mischeviously. "If you say so," she said and rolled over rather tiredly, feeling sort of like an old woman, and straddled his waist. She placed her hands on either side of his head.

"You know, you look cute when your vulnerable," she said, amused. She leaned down a little more.

Vlad let out a slightly sinister laugh. "Me, cute?" he rebelled, though his breath deepened as she came closer to his face. He moved to rise up and meet her lips.
