Lore: (mature) Running Out of Time(Just outside of Hepian)

This is the forest that covers most of Ighten in dense and thick trees. It is the oldest forest in Heirot, since most of the Forests in Arken have been destroyed. It is well known as a haunted forest where ghosts and demons reside. In the forest are many villages. The villagers will tell you tales of trees that eat people, gaint spiders, and dragon lairs.

Mia grinned and at rather too quickly. Soon her plate was cleaned and there was nothing left. She sat there waiting patiently on him to finish. She was just sitting there when all of the sudden she gasped quickly....

"Oh know..." she said... "I have the hiccups... I shouldn't have ate so quickly." She said, laughing slightly.

Bejei's eyes widened since he thought it was something bad, but he chuckled a little when she told him it was hiccups only. He offered his glass of water over to Mia.

"Have a drink of this. It helps better than tea." He gave her a sincere smile before quickly eating the soup. "I'm almost done."

Mia laughed and took a sip of his water. She swallowed it and for a moment she thought her hiccups were cured... but just as she was about to speak one came back.

She laughed again and then held her breath quickly, holding it for a long time until she couldn't any more and finally after that her hiccups were gone. "I probably shouldn't have ate so fast.."

Bejei spilled some soup while he tried to hold in his laughter. It had been a long time since he laughed that way, and he owed it all to his special girlfriend... Mia. The more time he spent with her, the more he needed and wanted her by his side.

"I'm done." He dropped the spoon on the table as he finished eating. "Lets get this dance thing over with." He frowned but in a friendlier nature than the other times.

Mai smiled and jumped up, taking him by the hand and pulling him out of his seat. She practically dragged him out the door and to the outside.

Dryden was standing outside still, but there were enough people to conseal the fact he was stalking them. He stood with his arms folded, his blood eyes watching them as they left the resturant.

Mia held Bejei's hand as they walked, enjoying the innocent contact they shared.

Bejei couldn't get a word out of his mouth as Mia dragged him outside, anxiously wanting to teach him how to dance. He felt the excitement in her, but he didn't think it was such a big deal. It was only dancing afterall, but he knew why Mia felt that way. It was her life, and she wanted to share a piece of it with him.

"You really want to dance with me huh?" He asked her, knowing full well the answer already. "We better hurry then before I change my mind." He gave her a sly smile while he gripped her hand lightly.

It didn't take them long to get back to Mia's tent. She smiled and held the flap of the door open for him, thinking of a good tune for them to dance to. "Make yourself comfortable, I need to get something real quick," she said, wondering off.

She was looking for a violenist... She wondered if Luke was anywhere near by so she could get him to play...

She was walking rather quickly, trying to get back to Bejei in a hurry. She was turning the corner of a group of tents when she ran slam into a hard body.

"Wha..." she said as she fell backwards slightly, but a hand came out, grabbed her roughly and pulled her back on her feet. "Thanks..." she said, straightening her clothing and looked up to see those weird crimson eyes again.

She blinked and looked around and then back at him. She decided to walk around him, but he stepped over and into her path.

"I said thank you," she commented, looking up with her mismatched eyes.

The man with the leathery cape smirked and stepped in front of her when she moved again... Finally it seemed he had enough staring at her and he moved aside and aloud her to pass...

Mia found Luke sitting on the top of a log, playing as usual and managed to talk him into coming back to her tent to help her teach someone to dance...

Bejei reluctantly followed Mia to the tent, and he strolled in after she held the tent flap for him. He nodded to Mia as he watched her leave. He glanced around and made his way over to her bed of pillows.

"I hope I won't disappoint Mia. Unlike fighting, I'm flat footed when it comes to dancing." He uttered to no one in particular.

Bejei waited and waited for Mia to return. "Hmm... what's taking Mia so long? Well, I can't complain since I need time to think."

Mia opened the flap to the tent and went in, she was followed by a thin pasty pale young man with fair colored hair and bright blue eyes. He carried a violen in one hand and a bow in the other.

"Back," Mia said, choosing to avoid telling Bejei about that man until they had had there fun. She didn't want to spoil it.

"Don't worry, he's going to play with his back to us so he can't see you," Mia said, stifling his fear of being seen dancing. She grinned at the thought of Bejei being emberassed.

Luke went to a part of her tent and took his seat on a pillow, facing the side of the tent and its strange patterns.

"Um... play something slow," Mia said and Luke began to play a soft melody with low tones in it.

Mia kicked a few pillows out of the way and grabbed Bejei's hand. She put his hand on her slim waist where his thumb was the only finger in the front and his other fingers around curling around to her back. She took hold of his hand and held it out comfortably to the side of them, and then she placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Now its fairly easy... I'll teach you the four steps..." she said with a smile. She stepped back with her left foot, urging him to come along with her as she brought her right foot too her left foot. Then she put her left foor to the left, urging him in that direction until her right foot met with her left foot. Then came the hard part, well not really hard, but it meant Bejei would have to step back... She put her right foot forward and nudged he back slightly for him to put his right foot back. Then she came to him as her left foot met with her right. The final step she was going to teach him was when she put her right foot out to the right and moved to the right so her left foot met with her right foot. So completeing a strange, but simple square.

"Well... its a bit confusing I guess at first, but the more you do it the easier it gets..."

OOC: It's a crappy post but bear with me.

BIC: Bejei stared at the man who came in the tent with Mia. He didn't have a chance to say anything as Mia took him by the hand and pulled him onto his feet. He didn't fight off Mia as she placed his hand around her waist and the other into her hand. He knew it was going to get bad, but if it made Mia happy then he would do it.

He did exactly as Mia indicated, but each time, he almost stepped on her feet or almost fell down from having no balance. He thought it was going to be easy, but it's a lot harder than he expected. He continued to follow Mia's lead as he stepped sideways then upwards, backwards, and sideways again, nearly clutching Mia's hand with nervousness.

"To tell you the truth Mia... I did dance when I was younger." He didn't know why he told her that, but he just did. "I'm not good at dancing, but you're a natural."

Bejei pulled her closer to him until they body's were literally against each other. He gave her a weak smile, indicating that he admired her for taking her time to teach him how to dance.

"I guess it's not so bad. Lets go another round then." He told her.

Mia smiled and nodded. She took him slowly through a second round, but as she neared the finish of it she sped up a bit more, trying to see if he could handle going a bit faster.

She leaned close to his ear and whispered, "No voices today?"

OOC: I'll try rping.

BIC: The second time around Bejei was more comfortable, and his movements became more fluent. He moved with Mia like he had been dancing for years, and it was odd too since he was never a good dancer, not even a decent one. Maybe, dancing with Mia made him try harder, and it made it easier for him to dance.

"What voice?" Bejei replied, trying to play it off like he had no clue what she was referring to. "You're very pretty today."

Bejei kissed her on the cheek before pulling her up against his body. He hugged her tightly in his arms while he tried to recall the unknown events after blacking out. He wondered if he should tell Mia the real reason why the voice appeared.

Mia looked at him for a moment, confused and wondering if he was just playing with her or this "voice" had taken over again and was trying to make her beleive he didn't exist.

"Thanks..." she said, arching a white eye brow as she continued to dance and watch him with a wary expression.

Bejei could tell Mia suspected something since she stared at him strangely. He hoped she didn't discover the truth about the voice. If she did then he didn't know how he could face her, let alone carry one their relationship any further. It must remain a secret no matter what.

"Do you like me the way I am now?" He asked her seriously. "This isn't me you know. I'm not the same person anymore..."

Mia smiled softly. "Bejei, the only thing different about you is the voice... and all we have to do is get through that... and we can..." She told him, touching his cheek gently. "Sure you have changed from that arrogant man I knew to the decent one I know now... but believe me that doesn't bother me."
