Lore: (mature) Running Out of Time(Just outside of Hepian)
Mia swung at him with the makeshift staff, tired and worn out from running and fighting for the gods only knew how long.
“I thought you were going to let me go!” she yelled at him, well the werewolf form of him. Her white hair was falling in front of her eyes and her dancers outfit was torn and dirty from the days of running and hiding.
He came close snarling and she rammed the staff into his mouth as he opened to take a bite. She tried to shove it down his throat but it quickly maneuvered until the staff was out of his mouth. Teiron lunged again and Mia spun to get out of the way, smacking the beast across the side with the stick.
“Damn,” she cursed, angry with the fact a stick was all she had. She needed something more than just a stick!
Mia was caught off guard by the heavy body of the werewolf ramming into her side and slamming her onto the hard earth. She brought the stick up quickly to try and hold the mouth away as she brought her long legs up to try and push the heavy body off. It wasn’t working out and Teiron’s mouth was growing closer.
She turned her head away as his nose brushed her cheek and his weight pressed down. He was pressing down so he could get his weight on the stick and his mouth off… He was going to rip her to shreds…

Bejei strolled through the forest, shifting his gaze back and forth whenever he a sound arises. The forest looked awefully suspicous and sometimes too quiet for comfort. He wasn't overly paranoid, but after the last incident with some mercenaries, he had to be cautious wherever he went. He hated to get bloody when it wasn't necessary, but there's nothing he could do about those bounties people kept putting on his head. Now and days, he could barely show himself in public areas for fear of being recognize. Anyway, it was better to live among the creatures of nature than civilize people.
He ceased his progress immediately and scurried behind a tree. He heard a noise close by, and it sounded a lot like a woman in distress. He smirked a little, knowing that he was no knight in shiny armor so why should he care what happened to the woman who screamed? Maybe, he should just check it out to see what the problem was, and he bet it was no big deal. The woman must got her close caught on some twigs or she broke a nail. How typical? He smiled again before he sneaked from behind the tree. He swiftly but silently made his way over to the sound. He crouched and lowered his position to not be detected. He peeked over the brushes and saw a young woman, fighting off some kind of giant beast. By the look of things, it was a werewolf.
"What the hell?" He muttered under his breath.
Bejei was reluctant to intervene, but he despised werewolves, and he would take any chance he had to rid of their kind from the world. He didn't care if they were good, bad, crazy, sane, stupid, evil, and nice. The only thing that ran through his mind was destroy the werewolf at all cost. He stood up from behind the brushes and slowly made his way onto the battlefield. It seemed the woman was in a disadvantage against a superhuman creature like a werewolf. He decided to step in and fight her battle, and he knew she wouldn't mind.
"I suggest you step aside. I'll handle this creature." He spoke abruptly while he stood confidently before them.

Mia couldn't turn her head away from how close the beast was to her face. She just looked in the opposite direction of where the man was, because she only knew he was there by his voice.
"If you get him off me I will gladly step aside," she said through gritted teeth, using the last bit of her strength to shove upwards and give a kick to its gut. The beast noticed Bejei and thankfully for the moment forgot about her.
She could hardly think of him as Teiron... now he was nothing more than a hungry werewolf to her. She stood up, holding her side and leaning against the tree as the werewolf faced Bejei.
Her long white hair was in her face and her golden skin was dirt, bruised, and bloody. Her clothing was nothing more than rags.

Bejei impatiently watched as the werewolf got off the woman. He could tell if it wasn't for his intervention then she would have been eaten alive. A death like that wasn't so bad, but the pain would be unbearable. He could only imagine since he would not give this beast a chance to rest. He would not allow it to devour him like it probably did to most, if not all its victims. He hated creatures of that sort, and he was the guy who would cleanse them from this world.
He paid little attention to the raggedy dress woman as she scurried away from the werewolf and off to a safe distance. Maybe, he should have let her die before he killed the werewolf, but it was too late to do that now. He was in sight of the monstrous beast, and the only way to escape their alive was to kill it. Killing was not the only thing he was great at. His cunning and incredible strategic schemes also played a big role in his existence, and that would come in handy when he engaged the mindless and hungry beast.
"Have you taken a look in the mirror lately? You look like a goat's ass with extreme droppings." Bejei replied with a little insult and a tad of humor. "If you won't come to me then I'll just have to bring the fight to you."
Bejei retrieved the katana from the scabbard and leapt at the werewolf, bringing his blade in for a diagonal slash to the beast left shoulder. He followed up the attack with a second strike to across the chest, hoping to stun the werewolf in the process.

Mia leaned against the tree consentrating on not falling out. She had to stay awake at least to find out if she needed to run again. The only thing keeping her awake was adrinalin from running and fighting and fear. She didn't know who this guy was and she didn't know if she should be wary or thankful for him for arriving.
The attack hit Teiron and it seemed to surprise him because he hesitated... Teiron wasn't use to having this problem. All the times she had seen him he had handled himself much better than this.
Teiron growled and stepped back, crouching before jumping into the air and over Bejei, lashing out at his back with his claws.

Bejei's assault succeeded, but it did little damage to the beast. It actually made the creature more dangerous and vicious. He landed on the ground as he watched the werewolf leap over his head, and with little time he had, he managed to awkwardly twist his body in the process just as the werewolf clawed his backside. The force from the claws send him forward and onto the ground, but he quickly regained his footing with little difficulty. He spunned around to face the beast once more, and this time his raged boiled up from within. He wanted to finish the fight here and now.
He frowned angrily as the adrenaline build up. He was face with adversity, and clearly the werewolf had the upperhand in brute strength. He decided to trick the mindless creature in order to send him to his early grave. He charged the beast at full speed, placing the sharp point of the katana straight in front of him. He wanted to impale the creature through the heart if possible. At the last moment, he cast the magical spell called Afterimage which manifested a physical image of himself right in front of the werewolf. The imaginery appeared in the last movement that he was at before casting the spell. If the timing was precise, he might confuse the werewolf long enough to get behind its rear flank for a preemptive strike or just attack it the moment he saw an opening. He leapt up into the air before he came crashing down towards the werewolf with blade, aiming straight down the face of the creature. He hoped to cut it in half.

It happened fast for Teiron... He felt pain and then death. For Mia it happened in slow motion. She watched through half closed eyes as the man sliced into Teiron a man, well beast, that she had been afraid of and running with and from for more than two weeks.
She stood there staring at the fallen body, the stick tightly lodged in her grip as her prink and blue eyes glanced at the man. It always seemed that just in the nick of time someone happened to come by and save her and then a little while later they would want to kill her. She wasn't about to let it happen again.
Her head was feeling funny and her body felt tingly. Her chest hurt with every breath she took. Her whole body ached and she wanted nothing more than to take a hot bath and curl up on a comfy bed and go to sleep.
She fought the nasea that came with the pain and gripped the stick, waiting for the man to approach her.

Bejei's blade cut right through his target, and as swiftly as the attack came, it ended in the same manner. The vicious werewolf who had intimidated and taunted its victims before devouring their flesh, was dead. The attack cut the creature completely in half, severing it from the middle of the head to the neck. It was a gruesome sight, but Bejei had seen worst in during life time. Some of the grotesque images were his doing, but that's all ancient history now as he took one last look at his fallen foe. He gave the werewolf a speck of credit for being a formiable foe, but he still considered werewolves walking carcasses that needed to be exterminated at all cost.
He wiped the bloody katana on the rough skin of the werewolf as he expressed no remorse for such filth. After wiping the sword clean, he sheathed it before shifting his gaze to the woman. By her posture, she looked out of stamina. Another thing caught his attention, it seemed like she was about to fall flat on her face, but the way she held the stick means the werewolf wasn't her only enemy.
"What's wrong with you?" Bejei asked just to converse. "The werewolf is dead so you can drop that stick there." He took a few steps towards her, awaiting what her reaction would be.

Mia raised the stick like she would hold a bat, her arms shaking slightly but it wasn’t from fear. Her strange eyes narrowed. She didn’t know whether to thank him or hit him. She didn’t know what to think of people she just met now…
“Thanks,” she finally said, guessing she should thank him for saving her life. “Now you can go on about your business…” She was about tired of new people dragging her into danger and he just looked the type to do so…
All she wanted to do was get back to the carnival and get back to being a dancer where it was nice and safe and the only dangerous thing you had to worry about was a angry centaur or griffin. Her pride wasn’t hurt in the least bit, though being J’ra she should have been highly agitated that she couldn’t get herself out of that situation.

Bejei thought the woman planned on striking him over the head with the stick, but instead she thanked him for saving her. He grew curious as to why she sported such a strange out fit. What was she doing out in the forest anyway? Those thoughts ran through his mind while he examined her further. He hoped their meeting wouldn't turn into a relationship of friends or whatever. He dislike that idea and dismissed it.
"There is no need to thank me. I didn't kill that filthy creature for you." His lips twisted downward into a frown. "I killed im on my own accord, and it has nothing to do with saving your life or any other so save your breath for someone who cares."
He turned away from her, but at the corner of his eyes, he stared at her. He was not obligated to see her survive, and he sure as hell wasn't going to babysit a grown woman until she found salvation. No. He could leave her there to fend for herself since her problem was none of his, and things should be kept that way, but why did he have this feeling?
"You should be ok from here on out. I believe a town is not far from here. You should be able to get there yourself." He twisted his head to the side to face her. "I would put that stick aside and stay out of trouble if I was you. Or...." He was going to hate himself later for doing this. "... you can come along with me until we get back to civilization."

Mia narrowed her pink and blue eyes on him, her hand wobbling with the stick, her knees shakking and her whole body tingled. She wanted to say, "I'm sure you'd just love that, wouldn't you..." Instead she kept her mouth shut for a long moment.
She looked him over. "I believe I just heard you say something about saving my breath for someone who cares? I'm not dumb enough to think you changed you mind in a matter of moments about caring..." she said, lowering the stick, but not because she wanted to.
Though she wanted to meet at least one person who cared. One person who would help her. Right now she needed that person, but wasn't recieving any good vibes from the man before her and as her knees felt like jelly and she didn't think she could stand much longer she wished depseratly he was that man. Sadly, she knew she was mistaken.

Bejei glared into the woman's pink and blue eyes. It's strange to see someone with different color pupils, but he dismissed the idea since it wasn't the strangest thing he'd ever seen during his life. He saw people with multiple eyes, feet, hands, ears, and other physical alterations, and it didn't frigtntened him a bit so the pink and blue eyes is nothing special.
"Humph..." He uttered out loud. "Do you want me to change my mind?!" He snapped angrily at the raggedly dress woman.
He could tell by the way she stood, she was completely exhausted, and any moment she could fall on her butt. It would be a hilarious sight to watch, but he had more important matters to attend to so the faster he get her to people, the faster he could finish his task.
"So... why the hell is the werewolf trying to eat you?!" Bejei gestured for her to follow him as he started to walk forward. "By the way, what's your name or do you prefer I give you one?"

Mia glared at him as she put one foot in front of the other slowly, so very sore. "I don't know, judging from the way he pounced I guess he wanted to eat me... Then again he might have wanted to wrestle..." she muttered to him as he turned away, not really thinking she needed his help, but as the world began to spin she thougth otherwise.
Mia looked up as he asked for her name and the rude way he asked. At least it seemed rude to her and if he wanted to be rude she could be rude too. "Mia, but if your going to give me a name is it alright if I call you jackass?"
There was just something about him that was setting all her nerves on end. Maybe its because she was tired and irritable...

Bejei could careless to face the woman named Mia as she so boldly put it. He was more in deep thought about how he would infiltrate the harden defenses of his foes in order to dispose of their leader. He would have to penetrate multiple areas just to get to the main gate, and he knew there would be more guards and defenses around the manor as well as within.
His thoughts gradually drifted away as he remembered Mia was following him. By the sound of her steps, she was falling behind, and he needed to make good timing. What could he do to move her faster? He could drag her, but... that might not be the best option. He could carry her, but that would tire him out, and he would be useless and vulnerable against his enemies. There had to be another way, but he couldn't quite figure it out as of yet.
"Mia.... you can call me a jackass all you want, but you'll only waste your breath." Bejei replied with extreme seriousness. "My real name is Bejei, and that's all you need to know about me. Any further will put you in the ground... catch my drift? Now, where do you leave?"

He was beginning to truly annoy her, and that was hard to do at times. She was trying to concentrate on walking a bit faster, but his voice was hard to ignore. “I think I would have been better off with Teiron…” she muttered more to herself than anything, stumbling over a root and crashing to the ground, catching herself slightly and scuffing her palms.
She aloud a very unlady like curse slip from her mouth as she dusted herself off and warily pushed herself back to her feet.
“Where do you live?”
Mia had to concentrate on staying up right as the world spun around and around, making the man known as Bejei look like one big ripple of dark water. “Every… where,” she said putting a hand to her head. “And since we’re not sharing information that’s all you’ll get, any further and you’ll find yourself in the ground…”
She now had both arms around herself wincing with every breath and every step. “Lowight…” she began, taking a quick breath. “Isn’t too far from here… the carnival should be there.”
