The house/ hospital was brightly lit by the open windows and white candles that reflected off the clean white walls. The first room was a waiting room that had many different couches and such. There was a set of double doors that were open and led to a room lined with beds covered in white sheets. There were about four beds in all.
There was an older man, around 50 something in the back of the room putting glass bottles away. Apparently he hadn't heard Bejei come in.

Bejei noticed the white candles and couches in the waiting room, but he could care less about those. What he needed the most was a decent doctor or someone who know medical treatment.
"Hey!" He shouted to everyone in the room. "This woman needed immediately care. You there..." he gestured towards the old man in the back. "... How about giving me a hand here?"

The doctor turned around and looked at them, his pale blue eyes widening considerably. "Oh dear," he breathed and poited to a bed. "There... Put her there...."
He called for a woman named Claira and the young blond came running in with a bowl of hot water and rags on a tray.
"I need to know what happened," the doctor said as he began to wash his hands and pulled the curtain around the bed on which Bejei was to lay her.

Bejei listened to what the doctor's order, and he set Mia on the bed. He felt the bone brush up against his body as he laid her unconscious form down.
He heard the doctor's question, and he wasn't going to tell the truth. He did not want to tell the man that he literally broke her bones by squeezing her too hard. The obvious choice was to lie.
"Her name is Mia, and I found her in the forest. She was attacked by a werewolf, but I saved her, and now she's in critical condition." He responded convincingly. "Get to work doc."

The doctor nodded and looked at Bejei for a moment. He then closedthe curtain in front of Bejei to seperate them. He had to put the bone back in place, but for the life of him he couldn't think of how with out having to operate.
It was a almost an hour later when the nurse opened the curtain back and the doctor was washing his hands clean of blood. The blanket was pulled up to Mia's bare shoulders and she was still sleeping.
The doctor looked up at Bejei. "She'll be sleeping for a while... if you want to wait until she wakes up you can."

Bejei watched as the doctor closed the curtain, impeding his view of the operation. He just stood idly by, waiting for the results of her condition. During that time, he kept thinking to himself why he cared for a woman he barely knew? Why was he waiting to see if she pulled through or not? It was unlike him to do such a thing.
His thoughts seemed to keep him busy, and when he realized it, the operation was over. The doctor had opened the curtains up again, and he could clearly see Mia, resting in bed. She looked fine, and he assumed the operation went well.
Bejei stared blankly at the doctor like he was crazy or something. Why would he want to wait for her to wake? He had places to see and people to kill or so he thought. Maybe, waiting for her wasn't such a bad thing since he had some time to kill.
"Why not?" He stated flatly. "I'll just be in the other room. When she wakes up then come inform me." With that, he left the room.

It was almost dark when Mia came to, sore and drowsy, with only bits and pieces of memory of what had happened. She remembered a man, and then pain... and then nothing. She remembered the werewolf, and the man fighting... She remembered...
Mia's eyes flashed opened as her mind was done giving its rush of feedback. She blinked several times and looked around with wide eyes, not knowing where she was. She sat up, holding the covers to her chest and looking around at what looked to be a hospital room or something of that sort.
A nurse was placeing a tray of water and a sandwich by her bed. "Good, your awake, I'll go inform him..."
Mia, looking at tad bit oblivious looked at her as she walked out of the room. "Who?" she whispered.

Bejei's fist flew right towards her face, but he halted it just a few inches from her nose. He hated to be disturb while he was resting, but it seemed her information proved to be valuable.
"Ok." He replied as he retracted the hand from her face.
He stood up before making his way to the room. As he passed through the door, he saw Mia, laying on the bed like she didn't know where she was. He figured it was not her time to depart from the world yet, but it sure came close.
"You ok?" Bejei asked as ginuinely as possible.

When Mia saw him she remembered then why she was in this place, and remembered that he wouldn't losen his grip and that was when the pain hit and that was when she got hurt.
Mia picked up and orange of her tray of food and through it at him. She had always been good with hand eye corrdination, so unless he was a good catch it would hit him on the forehead. The act caused pain to shoot through her chest and she winced.
"You stay away from me," she told him in a shaky breath, holding the covers tighter to her.

ejei could tell from her expression that she was not glad to see him. He thought she was going to say something insulting, but instead, she threw a orange at his head. Who would do something like that? Luckily, his reflexes were a great part of his fighting abilities so he caught the orange effortlessly.
He shifted his gaze onto Mia before he crushed the life out of the orange. The juice spilled all over his hand, and with little effort, he toss it into the garbage next to the door.
"I'm not going to hurt you, but you're making it hard on me not to." Bejei stated angrily. "How was I suppose to know women are so fragile? Instead of throwing things at me, you can thank me for saving your ass out there."

Mia scowled at him and then rolled her eyes. "Oh stop acting so tough," she told him and sat where her legs were over the edge of the bed. She wrapped the sheet around herself and held it there. "If you were such the hard ass your pretending to be you would have left me there."
She ran her fingers through her white hair slowly, moving it out of the way of her eyes. The miss matched pair of eyes glanced at him. "And I'm not as fragile as you think..."
"Excuse me..." the nurse said and stepped in between them. "She's ready to leave... its just she needs some clothes. If you don't mind could you go get her something."
Mia looked at her. "Don't you have a shirt or something I could borrow. I don't think he'll do very well in picking out clothes... and he's been more than enough help already." Mia said tiredly, the adrenalin rush of being angry at Bejei wearing off and the tired feeling coming back.
“No miss… I don’t live in the hospital…”
Great…I’m going to walk around Ighten in a sheet.

Bejei watched Mia covered her nude body under the white sheet. Like she the sheet was going to protect her body unseeing eyes forever. How foolish could this girl be? He didn't want the answer to that question.
He just stood idly by while Mia insulted him, and she did a great job of it when her comments struck a nerve in him. For the first time in a long time, he was speechless. She questioned his toughness, and she hit rock bottom. He obviously had no comeback response for her.
Luckily, the nurse came in to instruct her that she should be able to leave. Although, she needed clothing, and he definitely was the wrong person to ask for wardrobes since he was out of fashion as some might put it. Nevertheless, something that could protect and save his life was far better than something good looking.
"Here. Put this one." He grabbed a robe on the chair and toss it to Mia. "You can buy some clothes later."

Mia didn't bother catching the robe, though she could have. She didn't feel like feeling that pain shoot through her again. The robe landed beside her on the bed. She stood up and turned towards the curtain on the other side of the bed to where no part of her body in the front could be seen. Since it was only a shirt she needed the robe would do well.
She dropped the sheet. Light small scars could be seen on her back for a split second. She put the robe on and tide it in the front. She turned around and looked at him.
"You can go any time you know..." she told him walking slowly passed him.
