Shea looked at the demon an cracked a smile. "So that's who you serve? The God of Darkness? My 'Father'?" She asked her voice filled with amusement.

"I'm afraid you just missed him! Maybe I could get him to come back so you can inform him of what he already knows?"

She had ignored what Praxis had said, knowing that this was between her and the whore demon. "I'm sure I have more of a pull in his grace than a pet like you."

"So that's who you serve? The God of Darkness? My 'Father'?"

Praxis turned slowkly around. Unable to contain his interest in the conversation, he unconsciously raised an eyebrow.

The succubus broke out into hysterical laughter. "Dearie, you know nothing about that man, do you?"

The succubus taunted, pointing in Praxis's direction. A scowl crossed Praxis's face as he realized where the conversation was headed

"...Otherwise, you would've realized you've just gone and done the dumbest thing you can do. He and your father are..."

A large, booming voice interrupted the succubus, "DOMINA! It's time for you to leave." The voice came from Praxis. His eyes were glowing a threatening green and his claws extended and merged to form a blade of hellfire.

Shea's eyes narrowed in confusion as the succubus began to explain something about Praxis and her grandfather, the God she called father.

It seemed to upset Praxis, a usually calm and contained being to Shea. But, what the succubus was about to say seemed to anger him a great deal. She watched, saying nothing until Praxis was finished telling the demon she needed to leave.

"I might not know anything about him, but I find him a lot more interesting that trash like you. You are not welcome in my palace. Leave or die, those are your choices."

The succubus laughed. "No need to get pushy. My job here is done. Enjoy the short time you two have together because the hammer's going to drop on you two. Oh and darling...," her seductive gaze meeting Praxis's angry eyes, "when it does, I'm the one that gets you for alll eternity." With, that she dashed through the portal, closing it behind her.

Shea looked at Praxis for a moment after the succubus had gone and her eyes opened up a little more, no longer narrowed in slight confusion. "I don't expect you to atomatically explain what she meant, because its none of my business unless it has to do with my own safety."

A strand of crimson hair fell in front of her face as she slowly and gracefully stepped towards him. "A hammer is going to be dropped down on us? I don't quite understand, Praxis. What hammer and from whom?"

Praxis smiled at the irony of the situation. Looking for a way out of answering questions he went on the offensive....he laughed. "You mean to tell me that Verin's daughter has never heard about his hammer?"

Shea looked at him and her eyes narrowed dangerously. She stood in front of him, looking up at him with her dark eyes. "Don't play games with me, Praxis. You and I both know how good I am at your games. Your little friend has put me in an irritated mood and I am not in the mood for them."

Praxis replied just as fiercely. "First off, she's not my friend. She was an agent the god Verin, apparently your father, sent here to test us." He calms himself down. "She's a succubus, and their sole purpose is bending emotion, paticularly that of lust and love, to Verin's ends... Clearly she suceeded at doing that to us."

Her dark eyes looked into his and she stood there, saying nothing. She calmed herself, soothed the building anger. "And what about you and my father? What is between you to? What did you stop her from saying, Praxis?"

Praxis unconsciously looked downwards. He hated nothing more than talking about his past. He paused actively clearing his head of all thoughts. "We work together....that's all." He paused again, and look back up into Shea's eyes. "As for the whore, I just found her game of emotional manipulation tiresome....you know you really should've just ignored her taunts. She was testing you; seeing if she could get under your skin...and apparently she did."

Shea sighed and looked at him. "She wouldn't have if someone wouldn't have pissed me off before I met her," she said, running a hand through her hair and turning her back to him. She smiled, her smile fading as she turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck, closing her eyes and resting her head on his chest.

"Ignorant people are so annoying," she told him, looking up, her seductive smile returning.

"Um, we were just talking about girl things." Miah said winking at Lena. "So, are you nervous? You haven't seen the Queen in a long time, have you?"

Praxis turned and unconsciously look deeply into her eyes. His stoic face twitched a little as emotion started to well up inside him, but he turned away as soon as he felt that painful twinge. In a very cold voice he responded, "You shouldn't let my actions get to you like that. To my enemies, your father, emotions are far more useful than any army. They will use them to drive a wedge between us.

"Yes, Einocktura. Shouldn't you be very nervous. I mean, it is the queen you are here to see. Speaking of being in perfect order, these braids are getting on my nerves. I'm going to take them down." Lena began to take down her hair. Its a good thing I only wear them in braids when I'm flying. They would give me a headache. Even though her hair was in braids fo a long time, it was slightly wavy and only in a few knots. She used some magic to straighten it out and fixed her dress so there was no wrinkles.

"Is that good enough for the queen? I'm sure I don't look as bad as before. Are you ready, Miah?" Lena had never seen the queen so she wanted to looked her best. This would be the first time she tried to please someone in her whole life.

Miah didn't really care how she looked. She didn't find any use in trying to look good. The castle was full of bad people, she had heard. She didn't want to draw attention to herself.

"Yeah, I'm ready. Are you kidding? I'm ready for anything!" She flashed Einocktura an evil, but charming, smile. "Wouldn't you agree, Enoc?"
