Lore: Finding Home...
Mizuki was still puzzling over the Black Leaf Rose she had found entwined into her horses mane. When Soran called to them for food she perked up then looked at her hands feeling something sticky between her fingers that had crushed the flower. There was honey sap on her hand and she frowned.
"Let me... wash my hands." she told Soran and the others absent-mindedly, you could tell she was distracted by her tone. She quickly jogged to a spring that was close by to their camp and tried to scrub the honey sap from her fingers, she feared it would be poisonous. But it came off easily and quickly and when she inspected her hand of any more traces, she noticed a sweet scent on her hand. She was only half concerned, she knew that the scent of the flower didn't do anything but attrached prey to it but.. it still somewhat bothered her.
Although, she shrugged it off for the sake of her fellow companions. When she returned they were already sitting down on various logs around the campfire.

Siren came down from her perch in a tree on the edge of the camp where she was trying to make a comfortable perch for the night. She had taken one disdainful look at the small tents before she started her work, hating the idea of being pent up somewhere where she couldn't spred her wings or do anything if some creature should stumble upon her.
The whole episode with Rai, of course, had washed right over her head.
"mmm food," she murmured happily. A strangely annoyed and contemplative look was on her face by the time she reached the fire where everyone else was and her walk looked strange.

Mizuki sat down, grabbing her own cup and ate silently. It still tugged at her mind no matter how much she tried to shrug it off. But she also tried to mask her expression so no one could see she was trouble, it was difficult. The sweet scent of the Dark Leaf Rose minled with the steaming soup as she ate it, it tickled her nose and made her sleepy. Her eyes began to feel as if they have been open and staring at the sun for hours. She closed them tightly, blinked a few times, but it didn't work.
Eventually she put her cup down and began rubbing her eyes. Blade stirred from his nap and Mizuki sighed, actually grateful he was pulling her away from the others.
"I'll get him." she said even though she was the only one who really tended to him. He was already half crawling out of the tent and when he saw his mommy he grin.
"Momma!" he cooed and Mizuki smiled picking him up, but her legs felt like jelly and she sat back down on the dirt with him. She was still blinking away the tired feeling in her eyes.
"Ah...what's wrong with me?" she whispered.
OOC: No, she's not dying or being posessed, or being used as a puppet, or anything else. The scent of the flower is just stinging her eyes.=P

Siren looked up at Soran as he asked about her.
"It's weird, I don't think I've ever been this sore in my upper legs before. Does this always happen when you ride a horse?"
She looked over at Mizuki when she heard her thud down onto the ground, sitting with Blade. She gave a curious look and tilted her head.
"Not already tired, are you Mizuki?"

Soran watched Mizuki unreadably as she disappeared into the tent. He guessed that Blade needed to be fed, but it was strange... she had never seemed shy about breast feeding before. He decided not to linger on it and looked back to Siren, recalling her question and smirking a bit as he answered.
"Yes, that's normal if you don't ride," he said wryly, taking in the bow-legged way she was standing in amusement. "I've got it too, but not bad enough to waddle around," he condescended teasingly.

Mizuki sat inside the tent. Hiding from the others with her son. Blade looked up at her curiously and touched her hair.
"momma?" he cooed as if questioning her. Mizuki gave him a tired smile.
"I'm alright Blade." she told him and snuggled him. She laid down on the bedroll with him in her arms, Blade willingly snuggling with her. Before Mizuki realized it, she was fast asleep.
Blade wasn't tired, he lay there for a moment before wriggling out of his mother's arms and crawling out of the tent towards Soran. "Sowan." he cooed and clung to Soran's arm, looking up at him with identical eyes.

Soran looked down at Blade and repositioned him in his lap, stretching his neck back to free his hair from the child's tugging. "Blade must have tired her out," he commented. "Anyway, it's getting late, and we have a nice, long ride again tomorrow," he said, looking at Siren tauntingly as he began cleaning up the cooking pot and stoking the fire, Blade curled in his arm against his chest.
