That's the kind of guy one would think would live on 'til he was like... 90, hell, maybe even older. He made me love Crocs and Alligators....

Wait a minute, he got killed by a stingray? That's unexpected...

but, no.

Still sucks to see a great man go like that...:(

"Crikey did you see the size of those wings? Gotta watch out for that flaming sword, I think he's a bit grumpy now ..."

That's Steve Irwin talking about Archangel Michael... XD

I sorta thought he was going to end up dying from like....stubbing his toe and getting an infection, or tripping in the shower or something remarkably docile. I think it's a fitting end for him though, appropriate to his reputation; it's a miracle he lived as long as he did, and it's better than him dying of cancer or some dumb accident. That would be more tragic, in my opinion.

It still sucks to see him go like that. I still have a hard time believing that the "Croc Hunter" is gone. It didn't hit home until I watched Animal Planet this morning and they had a memorial commerical for him. I teared up.

Well I can't say that was a big surprise that he died while on camera. He did a bunch of dangerous stuff, actually I thought he'd die earlier than he did..

It's not a surprise to anyone really...

But am I only one of the few who respect a dead man who contributed to the animals? I swear, I was sitting at dinner last night and all my parents could do was critcize him... :(

I think to say others don't respect him is a misinterpretation. A lot of people can respect what he did without necessarily being personally affected by his death.

I guess I just feel like people shouldn't critcize a dead person... maybe I'm more...feely about death...o_O

Nothing wrong with that. That just means you're a caring, sensitive person.
