1) Name: Daylan Thorn

2) Gender: Male

3) Race: Human

4) Job/Class: Mage

5) Appearance: Daylan is a wiry man, standing at about 5' 11". He weighs about 165 pounds. His skin is naturally a dry tan. The mage's eyes are a brown so dark they appear almost black sometimes. His hair is black, and close-cropped almost like someone in the military. He is quite well dressed, his clothes made with his family sigil and colors decorated onto them.

6) Weaknesses: Daylan has an almost crippling fear of snakes that is only counter-acted when he is backed in a corner, which often reminds people of a badger backed in a corner. His fear of snakes has yet to be explained. He is also nervous around the beauties of the opposite sex, so he's not the most suave guy. Lastly, being a mage he lacks proper training in hand-to-hand combat.

7) Personality : Daylan is generally a kind person, helping others when they ask. Frequently, he has quite the big mouth, making little quips and comments about almost anything. But he holds grudges for very long periods of time and unless the other makes amends, he does so himself.

8) Biography: Daylan was born into the Thorn family. He was the third brother in his family, and thus had the least responsibilities. Unfortuanetly, his mother suffered of an incredible post-partem (right word?) depression after his birth and committed suicide. Though his father, a wealthy spice trader, never actually blamed Daylan for his mother's death, it seemed that way to the young boy. He still feels guilty to this day, and often prays to "whatever gods will listen" to forgive him. He is thusly considered pious by some. Daylan showed signs of great intelligence at a young age, so his father sent him away to learn magic at 13. (Not sure where he could go to do this, I'll need some places). Eventually Daylan became proficient with all sorts of magic, but was always fascinated with the spell magic missle due to its reliability. So he began to study it in incredible detail, before he truly perfected it. He then began to jokingly refer to himself as a "Missle Mage", and the term stuck. Then the borders closed and he was stuck in Arroes to this day
