Lore: Road Trip!!

The sun warmed his bare back as he soared high above the beautiful coast of Ighten. His wings spread wide and glowing bright white. Logan had been flying all morning just as he did every other morning. He descended down to the coastline and landed softly on the sandy beach. His wings dissapeared beneath the cross that he had tattood on his back.

Logan looked around at the people scurrying about the beach. He wondered what they were doing with their lives. He no longer knew what to do with his life. He wanted to move on from these beaches and set out on a grand adventure. He didn't know many people do to his constant moving through the years but he didn't like staying in one spott. Settling down in one spott wasn't for him. Not right now in his life anyway.

He found a nice secluded spot on the beach and decided he would rest a while.

Ren was doing what she knew and actually loved in life. She danced in front of a group of men both young and old. It was part of her pay, though she didn't mind. They paid her to dance for them while she journeied with them. Nothing new.

Except that after her performance, three young men decided to take a walk with her.

"You're so kind." she told them in all innocence. This was nothing knew and she was on her guard though.

"It's our pleasure to escort you on a short walk across the sandy shores." the tallest of the boys said. They seemed completely sincere and only out for her best interests. But as they walked farther away, close to an area of the beach surrounded by rocks, the walk became violent. They ganged up on her and pushed her to the ground. Ren cursed, sometimes it doesn't pay to travel with men. She cried out in a vain attempt to get help, but one of the men clamped her mouth shut.

Ren was too weak to fight back as they struggled with her.

Logan sat up quickly when he heard the scream. He didn't know the exact location but he knew from which direction. He leaped into the air and flew high above the coastline. There she was. The woman he heard screaming.

He made a swift landing in front of the three young men and lady. "Is there a problem?" he asked trying to avoid a fight.

The three boys jumped back at Logan's landing. Ren sat awestruck on the ground. Two of the boys weren't stupid enough to take on someone who just flew right in front of them and ran off. But the taller one, the one who had asserted himself upon Ren's small frame and had torn one of her precious silks skirts off of her, glared.

"None of your business. Take off!" he yelled. Ren, taking her chance at his distraction, swiftly kicked him in the groin and the man doubled over in pain the same time Ren stood up breathless.

Ren'ai took one look at Logan and placed herself in his arms without question. "Fly away quickly, angel boy!" she said quickly in her soft and seductive voice, already adapting him a nickname. Not that she knew what he was. Ren just found the fact of him flying to her recuse the way he did very appealing.

Logan looked down at the man squirming on the groun. "Was that really neccesary?" he asked calmly in no hurry to fly off again. He shook his head and put his arms around her. His wings slowly grew from his back and flapped out in a bright white. He leaped into the air and flew her high into the clouds.

"How's this?" he asked holding her firmly to his chest. "And by the way, the name is Logan."

"Yes," she said bluntly while clinging to him. She'd never admit it but she was very forward. "It was."

"And by the way, the name is Logan."

"Ren'ai. Call me Ren. Renny and I'll choke you." Ren introduced herself while looking back down on the ground. "Thanks for the save by the way. You don't know how many times that happens..."

He noticed her glance towards the ground. "Are you ready to head back towards the ground, Renny?" he said jokingly as he plumeted back towards the beautiful beach.

He landed softly and released her from his grip. "Well here we are... will you be all right now or would you like some company?" His wings retreated beneath his skin as he spoke.

Once they landed, Ren slapped his chest hard. Ok, so she wasn't going to choke him for calling her Renny. Ren looked around a bit uneasy and stayed close to him.

"Actually, since I've basically just lost my travel group..." she looked at him like an innocent child and pouted. "Can I stay with you? PLLLEAASSE?"

Logan looked her over then looked into her innocent eyes. She was a really beautiful young woman. "Sure..." he replied without really thinking. "I must warn you though, I don't stay in one spot for too long."

From her actions and her situation he didn't figure she did either, but he wasn't going to make a comment. He didn't want her to take it the wrong way.

Like a little child, Ren jumped up and down in glee. "Yay!" she exclaimed and hugged Logan like a long lost friend. When she calmed down she looked at what was left of her skirts. Thankfully today, she decided to wear more layers of skirt for more fluff.

"Oh foo, he ripped one of my skirts." she pouted childishly. "I liked that one too." She looked up at Logan again then poked his chest. He was muscular. She liked that. "you work out a lot?" she asked him, her torn skirt now forgotten for the moment.

He looked at her with confusion in her sudden change of attention. "Not really," he replied, "It comes natural."

"And you must have A-D-D?" he added with a laugh.

Ren blinked then narrowed her eyes at him. She pursed her lips and said, "Maybe..." As if she was trying to be sly.

He laughed at her remark. "I like you already..." he replied.

Logan enjoyed the fact that she had a sense of humor. "So were you headed in any certain direction?"

Ren shrugged. "Not really." she said indifferently and started playing with a strand of her hair. "Were you?" She looked up at him with almost innocent eyes.

He shrugged and replied, "I'm always going somwhere, but never nowhere in particular." He looked out over the oben waters of the sea.

"I've already seen the world, but I can't seem to stay in one place for too long. I have to keep moving."
He turned and began walking down the beach. "You are coming, aren't you?" He asked with a smile.
