Hmmm...Blood and gore. A book isn't complete without that. All I have in my mind right now is blood; I just got through watching "Interview with a Vampire." That's a cool movie! ^_^
New title?
.......
I woulnd't be worried about that until you're through with it. Like...if in the middle of a book, someone says some really cool quote that's going to really mean something in the end of it all, I would name the book whatever the quote was. Unless the quote is really long, then just do part of it!
For example...I read one book my mom gave me called "Heaven and Earth." You don't know why the book is even called that until the very end when some guy says, "We can make this our Heaven and Earth" or something like that. But it was really important somehow...I read the book a long time ago. >_< But then, a month ago is a long time ago for me! XD

"The Other side of the Veil"
this title is in reference to a metaphor often used to describe precognition, aka, seeing the future. it is said, that humans are essentially locked onto a conveyer-belt with a veil in front of us, we cannot look from side to side, and we cannot see through the veil, which is only very slightly in front of us, and is ever maintaining its distance from us. It is then also said that there are some who can see through this veil, IE, seers who can see the future. Now, what I would do, is name the book this, since it is a story about the future, and then somehow, at the end, bring it all back to the little three year old Rai. Also, if it does become bloody enough, you can make that a hint at precognition and not merely a dream or hallucination, because most people would flat out refuse to believe that a child could imagine such brutality.
my five cents.
P.S. if anyone ever wants an obscure title that has a fair amount of indirect symbolism, PM me, as that is my speciality.

Hmmm.....Maybe Steek should kill the prince after a while, though. That'd really piss Shea off...
You see, Steel will kill the prince because he tried to save Rai and Steel tells him, "No, I'M going to save Rai." Then the prince says, "NO! I AM!" And they'll fight! Or...you could make outtakes for this and put that in there. lol
