This story came to me as an ideal for a scene for a different story but it didn't fit. I'm still trying to complete this story but my ideals have run dry.
The Angel strained her injured wings, flying away from the place she had been imprisoned. Now the only thing that kept her going was the adrenaline in her blood. Another strong wing beat sent an unimaginable jarring pain through her shoulders. It was almost too much, almost enough to make her scream. she angled into a updraft and let it carry her upward, the warm wind soothing a bit of the pain, but all to soon she had to leave the raising warm air and return to her forward path. When she finally wore out, and was forced to land, her wings protested the heavy strokes needed to land. When she finally landed she left her aching wings open, not daring to fold them for the fear of more pain. she sat alert and dozed quickly, and as soon as she came she took off again. Wing beat after strained, painful, and weakening wing beat, she flew, trying to return to the Arie, she was born and raised at, to be home.
How did i get to this moment? she thought to herself, she then looked at the last five years of her life, starting that bright Spring day . . .
If you guys wanna read more tell me and I'll post more. Okay?
