This story came to me as an ideal for a scene for a different story but it didn't fit. I'm still trying to complete this story but my ideals have run dry.

The Angel strained her injured wings, flying away from the place she had been imprisoned. Now the only thing that kept her going was the adrenaline in her blood. Another strong wing beat sent an unimaginable jarring pain through her shoulders. It was almost too much, almost enough to make her scream. she angled into a updraft and let it carry her upward, the warm wind soothing a bit of the pain, but all to soon she had to leave the raising warm air and return to her forward path. When she finally wore out, and was forced to land, her wings protested the heavy strokes needed to land. When she finally landed she left her aching wings open, not daring to fold them for the fear of more pain. she sat alert and dozed quickly, and as soon as she came she took off again. Wing beat after strained, painful, and weakening wing beat, she flew, trying to return to the Arie, she was born and raised at, to be home.
How did i get to this moment? she thought to herself, she then looked at the last five years of her life, starting that bright Spring day . . .

If you guys wanna read more tell me and I'll post more. Okay?

It was the warmest day so far that year, and a young juvenile Angel female sat watching the others swoop and fly. She wasn't yet old enough to fly in the strong upper-air currents, so she was contended to watch the others. For tonight she would be named, a true name, not the identity of her feathers. She hoped she got a pretty name like Lyra, or Iris. She smiled at the thought, but the Naming Ceremony could be extremely dangerous, for Demons prowl the night.

She had watched a Naming Ceremony, Angels would swoop and soar, before flaring their wings out. She knew that the color that the Angel's wings looked when silhouetted against the moon, would determine the Angel's name, Red for Sun-Names, Gold for God-Names, Blue for Sea-Names, but the rarest was the Silver, Moon-Named Angels. Only a handful Moon-Named Angels lived, most were captured or killed by Demons. Demons prayed upon the Moon-Named Angels, for they are the most innocent, and pure Angels.

When night fell the juveniles sat waiting for their Assigned name to be called. She watched as first few took off and flared their wings against the moon, A Gold God-Named Angel, Matthias, and a Blue Sea-named Angel, Elisea, stuck out from the Red Sun-Named Angels. Now it was her turn, she launched into the sky and twirled, Danced, and ended by flaring her wings against the moon. A murmuring from the Namers made her shiver. Just then a roar broke out and a red-eyed Demon shot out of the dark, claws out-spread. She now knew she was a Moonchild, thinking quickly she dove and danced with the demon. A Namer took flight and called out.

"Be gone, Fiend!" He called "Leave the dear Levanna, Alone!" She felt her heart flutter at the sound of her name, but then the Demon roared and something tightly bound her body and wings. She was captured.

"Remember, Angel" the Demon whispered in a gruff voice "You made that promise to us" and the the moon-lit night went black.

I'd love to get feed-back, that's what we story writers live on! But just the fact that you are reading this makes me really super happy ^-^

Levanna woke up in a Demon's bed chamber, but there was no Demon, she was not clothed in a Demon's garb, in fact she was still wearing the ivory colored tunic she had worn at the Naming Ceremony. She looked around and sighed, she was now a Demon's prisoner. She then herd two voices approaching the door.

"She'll be waking soon" One said, obviously he was her captor. The other, younger voice answered.

"What does she look like?" He asked.

"She's Beautiful, Hair like moonlight, wings like ivory, and eyes like shined silver!" the first replied "she's the prettiest Angel I've ever seen" She heard on shift.

"and her condition?" The Younger asked, sounding now like he was buying livestock.

"Pure, She's even a virgin to the sight of other females" The First answered again. That statement made her blush, true she had never even bathed with other females, unlike most Angels.

"Ah, so none have seen her mature body" The Younger replied "now, Lucifer, leave us" She heard one of the dash off, a click told her the door was unlocked, and a mature Adult Demon walked in. He had dark brown hair that fell down to his shoulders, and deep amber eyes, that looked innocent. He didn't look much older than Levanna.
