Bejei's smile brightened somewhat when he saw Mia. He didn't want to worry her so he continued to smile. He had made a deal with her mom, but it's only until they get marry and leave. His treatments towards Mia would be harsh and uncaring, but he had to make things look real in order for her mother to buy.
"Everything went fine." He finally answered her. "Your mother has agreed to the marriage between you and I. Everything will be ok now."
He wrapped his arms around Mia and squeezed her tightly in his arms like he was saying sorry. He hope she could forgive him after what he would do to her.

Mia looked at him for a moment and tried to figure out why he seemed sorry for something. She looked behind him to her mother and then squeezed him back. "Are you sure there is nothing wrong?" she asked him softly, just to make sure.

"I'm fine. I'm just happy that things will finally be over." Bejei said with a smile. "Now, it's up to you when the wedding will be. I'm not too fond of myself taking care of the arrangements so I leave everything to you. I know it's going to be a great one."

Mia's mother stood behind them, watching with a hawks attention. "I'll help her with the wedding plans," her mother offered and Mia almost fainted in pure shock.
"Uh, alright.... mother...." she said slowly, unsure at first whether this was her mother or not....

"I'll let you ladies do the planning and stuff. I'm not much for planning unless it's for..." Bejei paused, shaking his head with a smile. "Never mind. You two carry on and play nice." He stepped out the door and wandered off by himself, thinking of what to do next, or rather how he should fool Mia's mother into believing what he just told her.

Mia's mother moved forward. "Now, plans can be done later. Mia, why don't you show your husband around?" she said, and Mia was rather startled by her politeness.
