Mia smiled at him and thought for a moment. "If you want to see my parents we can go. I can't promise you a warm welcome, but I would like for them to meet you anyway... No matter how horrible my mother is, I still love her in my own way..."
"Maybe by the time I get there I'll be all healed up..." She grinned and poked his stomach playfully.

Bejei cringed while his stomach was poked by Mia. He smiled warmly at her afterwards, but it hide a concern. He did not know if it was good for them to travel while Mia was still in the process of recovering. He actually didn't want to meet her parents, but it was tradition to.
"Are you sure you're up to it? We could wait until you're fully heal before traveling to visit your parents." He said as he cuddled Mia. "Although, the decision is totally up to you. I'll be there along the way to support and protect you."

Mia smiled. "Well if I have you to protect me then I guess I'm up to it... Maybe I could find a healer along the way and they could fix me up... Make me all nice and better so we could enjoy being engaged."
She smiled softly. "Wow, that sounded strange. Engaged... I like it. We can leave soon since the carnival will be pulling out soon."

Bejei smiled at her while he supported her in his arms. He decided that if she was well enough to go then he would not stop her, but help her along the way like she insisted.
"Yes... engage does seem strange... though it's good." He said while he helped Mia to the the exit of the tent. "Whenever you're ready. If you need to bring something along then I can get it."

Mia thought for a moment. "All I really need is a few clothes... I mean the carnival will pack the rest of my things and move it out for me. Dancers don't have to do much work, since we need to be lovely and pretty for dancing. No one would want to watch a callused, bruised... broken... scratched...." She thought of how no one would really want to see her dance. She didn't think she looked very pretty at the moment.
"Any way, all I need is some clothes to wear while we're traveling... and some money from my box in my clothing chest," she told him.

"Don't say that about yourself." Bejei said with a sly smile on his lips. "So do you want to pack the clothes that you want since I might pick the ones you don't like?"
He pulled her into his arms and gazed into her eyes, not wanting to turn away for even a second. He enjoyed the position they were in too much that he totally forgot what he just said or that they're leaving.

"Sure, help me walk in there and I'll grab a few things real quick and we can get going..." She smiled at him, leaning against him for support, after all he was strong enough to hold her small frame up.

Bejei nodded his head at Mia before slightly dragging her small form over to the chest where she kept her clothes. He didn't mind carrying her around since it felt good being so close to her. He hoped she didn't mind...
"Alright. You can pick what you want, but..." He said with a smile. "I can drag that whole chest with us if you want." He chuckled a bit at the thought.

Mia packed a bag of clothes, nightclothes, and personal items. She couldn't leave without her make-up of course, or her lovely silk nightgowns...
She smiled as she lifted the bag with her good arm. "This should do on the way there," she said and smiled at him. "I wouldn't want to make you carry my trunk, that would be cruel... It's bad enough you have to pratically carry me!"
"Alright, let's go," she said and gave a nodd, leaning over against him for support.

"I don't mind Mia." Bejei said as he supported her.
He held onto Mia and helped her outside the tent. He wanted her to lead the way to her parents house since he didn't know where they live.
"Mia, you can lead the way." He said as he rested his chin ontop of her head.

Mia smiled. "Okay," she said, pointing in directions as they went along. It seemed like they had been walking forever and Mia's leg was aching something terrible. She wanted to rest, but didn't want to tell Bejei that her leg was hurting when they could cover more ground.
She just limped more, and winced more.

The journey was a long one, but Bejei did not feel any fatigue at all. Actually, he felt more refreshed since Mia was by his side. Good thing he had a navigator... Mia. She knew where her parents lived, and he was just there merely helping her there.
"Would you like a rest?" He asked her while he felt an awkwardness in her walking. "We can rest since I'm a bit exhausted too." He lied to her, but maybe, if he faked it then she would take a rest even though she didn't admit she's tired.

Mia smirked. "Sure we can rest, if you want to," she said in a strained voice, motioning towards a log that she could sit on with him. She hobbled over to the log with his help and eased down to it, stretching her leg out in front of her, her broken arm limp at her side.
"A rest, exactly what I needed," she said and smiled at him, her miss-matched eyes sparkling.

Bejei helped Mia over and set her down. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and enjoyed the view. He didn't have much to say at the moment, but he's glad she decided to take a rest since he didn't want to put anymore strain on her injuries.
"Just rest Mia." He said as he closed his eyes, not to rest, but to think about the upcoming encounter with her parents.

Mia smiled as him helping her walk, and going down the same path they had come to her carnival in made her remember things.
"Remember when we first met?" she asked softly, closing her eyes and resting. She remembered how she thought he was an arrogant jerk.
