Mia was running through the crowed. She was holding her side and gasping for breath. She knew she couldn't fight Kiefer in her condition. But, then again, she couldn't get away.
She ran into an alley. She gasped and coughed for air, holding her chest and side. Her mind raised as she wondered what she should do.
"Is it just me or have you gotten slower..." Keifer's voice said and he was at the other end of the alley. She glanced over and the only escape route was now blocked by another J'ra.
Mia swallowed hard and backed into the middle of the alley. She looked around and noticed a ladder. She hated hights. She absolutely hated them... But, if going to the roof was her only way...
Mia used ability to hover to propell herself to the ladder that was about seven feet off the ground. She grabbed the bars of the latter and slammed into the wall, crying out. She pulled herself up and began to climb the ladder, reaching the roof and rolling onto the roof top to lie back.
"How... how did she do that," the other J'ra asked Keifer.
"Its the only magic she knows... its what makes her a sky dancer.
"How are we going to get up there?"
"I'm sure there is another way..."

Bejei's spirit gradually formed together with his mind and body while he meditated. He was in a state of mind that not many could perform, and it could be a stressful state too if not done correctly. He had trouble at first, but everything clicked together.
After a few moments, he was now one in mind, body, and spirit. His senses were slightly heighten to some extent, and his ethereal spirit flew outside the confines of his body like a ghost. It surveyed the natural beauty of nature while it flew around in circles.
Bejei's brows began to twitch as he sensed someone struggling. The life force felt some familiar, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it yet. He concentrated deeper and realized the spirit belong to none other than Mia. What was happening to her? He left her in good health, but why is he feeling her spirit dwindled like so? Something defiinitely must be wrong.
He forced the thoughts to come together and when he did, he snapped out of his meditation. He immediately came to his feet, and he remembered two people, conversing about a person named Mia. They had to be talking about the Mia he knew. She was in trouble.
Bejei stood up and raced out of the forest and back into the city gates, but he was confronted by the busy crowd. He forced his way through, but Mia's life force was too far away to sense. He just had to keep moving forward.

Mia pushed herself up and looked over the edge. She was almost in tears with how much her side hurt. When she looked over the side she grew dizzy from the being so high up. "Oh shit..." she cursed, roling over to where she couldn't see over the edge any more, her back against the side.
She swallowed holding her side. She had to get down... But, she didn't know where Keifer was. She didn't know what he would do. In her situation he could do anything.
Mia stood up slowly, arms wrapped around her middle. She hobbled over towards a door in the floor of the roof. She was almost at it when it opened up and out came Keifer.
She gasped more out of pain from jumping back than anything else.
"Something wrong Mia? You don't seem yourself..." Mia made a face of disgust. "Is that a robe your wearing?" Mia looked down and then back up. Keifer was grinning.

Bejei pushed his way through the crowd, and he suddenly felt the faint life force of Mia. He immediately head into that direction as he kept on moving through the crowd. He hated busy streets town, and this was definitely busy.
He continued on and the farther he went, the stronger her spirit became. It seemed as though he was drawn to her somehow, but he didn't know for what reason. He was still agitated by her presence, but he felt obligated to give her another chance.
"Where could she be?" He peered through alleyways, but he saw no one resembling Mia. "Maybe she's over there." He raced in that direction.

Mia wiped the blood from her lip and roled over, trying to skoot away from Keifer. If only she had her strength... She could take him if she had her strength back.
Keifer had a friend with him, it didn't help she was being double teamed. Keifer grabbed her by the collar of the robe she wore. He had a strange fire in his eyes that was something besides anger.
Mia punched him, causing him to let go of her robe and drop her on her back. He hit her back, knocking her rather senceless.
It angered her to no end that he was able to do this because she was weak.

Bejei kept on running until he saw a house. Mia's life force grew incredibly stronger, and it was radiating from within the house. He decided that's good enough a place to look for her, but he hoped it wouldn't be too late. He reached the door handle, but it was locked, he tried it again, but it wouldn't budge. He took a step back before kicking the door which caved in.
"What?!" He muttered under his breath as he spotted a man, hovering over Mia's form and another beside them. "Get away from her if you valued your life."

Mia's eyes were half closed as she wiggled around dizzily under Keifer. She was so far gone from her sences at the moment that she didn't know what was going on. She could only see blurry images and hear distant voices.
She blinked several times to try and clear her eye site but her eyes continued to water. She could make out a dark form on the roof.
Keifer cracked a smile as he turned his head in Bejei's direction. "I think I'm in the better position here. Maybe its you who should get away if you value her life?" Keifer suggested, standing up slightly and reaching down to pull Mia up with him. He had to hold her and she sagged dizzly in his grip. "Here, hold her."
Mia felt herself let go and then caught again. She blinked back the water once more. She just need a little more time to get over the dizziness and she could do something. She didn't know what but at least something.

Bejei watched Mia struggled to get free from the man, but the man didn't allow such a thing to happen. It was going to get rough real soon, and the man was going to feel it.
He began to walk towards the two individuals who held Mia captive. The man actually made Bejei smile since he didn't know what he was getting himself into.
"Don't make me repeat myself you fool." He stopped only two feet away from the man. "Let her go or die. If you heed my warning then I promise to make your death a swift one. If not then you shall suffer."

Keifer laughed and looked to his friend. Then he looked back at Bejei. "I think its you who are the fool. You obviously don't know what your dealing with."
Mia recognized the voice finally. She couldn't believe it. Why was he here and why was he even caring. She thought he said he didn't care. Mia smirked slightly, the blurry vision fading as she let her hands fall to the side and snake back behind Keifer's friend. She acted dizzy, letting her knees buckle and such. Her hand found what it sought, the knife on his belt.
She tried to pull it free with out him realizing, but the only way to do that was to do it quickly. She didn't know if it was too soon or not. But, Mia did it anyway. She pulled the knife free and moved to the side as she brought it around, stabbing she she had been moments ago. She plunged the knife into Keifer's henchman, doubling him over.
She lost her footing from still being slightly dizzy. The heavy body tumbled down over hers. Keifer took the distraction as a chance. He drew his sword quickly and placed the pointed edge at Bejei's throat.

Bejei watched Mia's preemptive strike on the other man, but he kept a close eye on the man in front of him. As Mia and the other man hit the floor, he let loose the katana from its scabbard, but it was too late, the man already had his blade at his throat.
"Quick move." He stated abruptly. "Take a look down there. You won't be able to satisfy a woman again if I cleanly take that thing off." The sharp point of katana gently dugged on the man's crotch.

Keifer glanced down for a moment. He smirked. "That would be bad for Mia," he said and his eyes looked thoughtful.
"I could easily slit your throat before you could get a good shot. The most you might do is stab my hip." Keifer moved his sword slowly away as he took a step back.
He held it in front of his head for a moment, resting his forehead on the blade.
"How should we settle this? Wait until another day, when Mia is at her full strength. She can be very dangerous. I don't know whats happened to her to make her so weak. I came for her, not to fight you. Whoever you are, she is no concern of yours. I was told to bring her back to her family."
Mia used the last bit of her strength to push to body off of her. "And how were you going to explain the fact I was beaten?"
"The werewolf of course..." he said, scowling at her. "They always believe me anyway."

Bejei frowned at the man's' foolish remarks. Of course, the man thought he had the advantage, but clearly he didn't. Bejei could easily smack the sword out of his hand and stab him right in the midsection.
"You're indeed deluded. Why don't we just settle things here?" He replied. "I know that Mia doesn't want to go with you. She's coming with me."
He followed the man's every step. Without waiting, he parried the sword from his throat, and stepped back. He shifted into a unorthodox stance, gesturing for the man to accept his challenge.
"Stay way Mia."

Mia crawled towards a corner and sat in it, leaning against the wall.
Keifer twilred his sword in one hand as he drew his second sword. "If you really want to die today," he said, putting the hilt of the sword together to make one long double ended sword.
Then Keifer attacked with the grace born of his people. But, Keifer was not onle J'ra, he also had the deadly grace of Ishtass, his grandfath had been one.

Keifer easily dodged with a rather abnormal quickness. He spun around bringing the sword behind him as he did, aiming it towards Bejei's middle, twirling the blades in a cicle upward then to cut off Bejei's arm.
Mia was still holding the dagger in her hand. She numbly looked from the dagger to Keifer, his white hair flowing around him as he spun. Mia lifted the dagger with two fingers and through it.
Keifer cried out as a sharp pain his his leg and he looked down to find a dagger lodged deep in his leg.
