Drakoe smiled at her," Of course we can walk and talk at the same time." They set a steady pace and walked along the road.

"Well," Drakoe began, "I've been wanting to talk to you about your sister. I wanted to talk to you sooner but I never got the chance." He glanced at her quickly then looked back down the road." Just to build a little trust between us,I followed you for a while after our first meeting. I was just making sure you stayed safe, nothing more ...I swear it." His eyes wandered back towards her to see if she was looking at him.

"Anyway," he said after a long pause, " After following you for a while I decided I would go ahead and go after your sister... not to kill her though, just to try and talk to her. It was rather difficult I assure you. I had know Idea she was so powerful." Drakoe finally caught himself going on and on. "The question I wanted to ask you though, is what happened between ya'll? What happened to your sister?"

Humarin stopped. "My sister died a long time ago, or so I thought." She lowered her head and clenched her fist.

"All the apprentices went down to take thier exorsits tests on level two ghosts. Little did we know that we would be attacked by a demon in priestess clothing. She was traveling with us as a guest priestess from a nearby temple or so we thought. When all the ghosts that we had to exorsise were gathered in one place she drew upon thier energy and attacked. All the priestesses told the apprentices to get onto the wagon and go. My sister and I were the last ones because I froze in fear and she dragged me away and we were the last to get on the wagon. But my sister was pushed off of the wagon onto the ground. I tried to get out but they held me back, when I told them to go back they said to wait. When we finally went back I assumed that my sister had been killed along with all the other priestesses that day but she wasn't. Almost a year later and I had already became a priestess we met in a town I was to stop her from killing. I couldn't do it and just from that my fellow priestesses were nearly killed. I dedicated myself that day to finding my sister and releasing her."

Humarin began walking again but this time very fast.

Drakoe stood there thinking about what he had just heard. It made him feel bad for Humarin. He knew what it felt like to lose a loved one, but this must be even harder for her. Seeing her sister commit great evil and having to try and stop her.

He then noticed her walking on without him, and at a much greater speed. He rushed up beside her and lowered his head,"I'm sorry." he said sypathetically," I know what it's like to lose a loved one." He walked on beside her without speaking.

"No. No one should ever have to feel this way! That's why I have to stop her even if it takes my life!" Humarin was crying as she kept on her path her tears falling behind her floating in the soft wind.

Drakoe watched her tears fall on the wind and wished there was something he could do to comfort her. He didn't like seeing her in pain..

He grabbed her hand and stopped them in the middle of the road. He looked into her innocent eyes and could almost feel her pain.

" I know you don't really know me," he said comfortingly," but I would really like to help you in whatever way I can."

Humarin just looked at him. "Stay with me tonight?" she asked innocently. "I mean I need to get to the next town so will you stay with me for a while?"

Humarin squeezed his hand, walked over and hugged him. She then looked in his eyes, "We have to get going now though, it's kind of hard to stay here." She dried her own tears with her sleeve and smiled.

Drakoe saw the innocence in her eyes as she asked the question. Drakoe could feel the void left her heart. He could feel it because he had the same void in his heart.

"Of course I will stay with you!" he said as she hugged him. He put his arms around her and tried to give her a little comfort. He was actually kinda surprised that she would hug him, seeing how she had just met him. It didn't bother him, however.

As they started walking again he asked a simple question to try and break the silence, "So... I take it you and your sister were close?"

"Yes, in fact we were eachother's best friend or so I'd like to think." Humarin said continuing to walk forward. Humarin caught a glimpse of something on the ground, she covered it with her hands and picked it up. She looked at it more carefully, she gasped a little only loud enough for her to hear though.

She smiled to herself after that. It was a vile wrapped in silver and red cloth. 'This may come in handy.' she thought putting it in the sash of her robe.

"What was that?" Drakoe asked as she concealed the vile.

He looked away towards the sky as the ground shook beneath them. The sky was dark and gray, and it wouldn't be long before they would be getting wet.

" I think we need to quicken our pace a little." He said with a gentle smile.

"Nothing." Humarin smiled at him. "Yes we should quicken our pace, by all means." She began walking as quickly as possible in the direction of the next town making sure to stay under heavy tree branches to keep from getting wet as the gently began to fall.

Drakoe wondered why she wouldn't tell him what was in the vile but his thoughts were interrupted by a bolt of lightening followed by a loud rumbling. ' The gods seem to be pissed about something' Drakoe thought to himself.

He began running down the road and found that he was a lot faster than Humarin. He turned around and rushed back to her side. He run along beside her and asked laughingly," Would you like me to carry you?"

Humarin blushed at his question, "No, I'll be fine but thanks."

Humarin steadily increased her pace, she certainly wasn't expecting rain, but what's a day without surprises?

Drakoe smiled at her expression and said,"I'll just hang back with you then." He jogged along beside her and they finally made it to the nearby town. Unfortunately they had already gotten wet.

He looked over at Humarin and laughed as they entered the inn. She was soaking wet. "Would you like to rent a room?" he asked," If you don't mind sharing one. I'll sleep on the floor."

"That's fine." Humarin told him as she entered the inn. She was a little cold and her skin was slightly wet, her clothes were a bit water resistant becasue of the candle wax that was inbetween the threads. She soon found that out the first time she wore it and she sometimes treated her outfits with wax.

She talked to the innkeeper and got a room. She immediatly went up to her room, locked the door, and lit a fire. She took off her outfit and hung it up to dry. She had underclothes on that reminded anyone who saw them of pajamas. She was just going to dry her clothes a bit before she had dinner. Huamrin looked at the vile she retrieved from her pocket. 'Should I..' She thought as she stared down at the bottle of sleeping herbs..

Drakoe walked over to the bar that was in the inn and took a seat. He gave Humarin a chance to go up to the room and clean herself up.

"I'll have some brandy," Drakoe told the bartender. He laid a couple of coins on the bar and took his liqour. He sipped on it and scouted out the room. No one in particular caught his eye. He turned back around on his barstool and finished his drink.

"Would you like another?" the bartender asked.

"Nah... I'm good," Aidan replied,"I think I'm going to head up to my room." He got up from his seat and walked up to his and Humarin's room. When he got to the door he stopped and knocked." Is it okay if I come in?"
