Anne laughed as they sat down, "I'm fixing the bow. My brother likes older girls, sorry girly."

Yuuna stepped out onto the street and started to fast-walk back to the merchants. With in half a minuet she was at a merchant selling leather bags. After haggling with him for a bit, she bought the bags. She trotted down the street once more and found a food merchant.

Kyle was Anne's brother. Kyle came from the kitchen and smiled a toothy grin at the girls. "Hi," He said to the girls, his voice deep and rich, "Where is Yuuna?" He asked Anne

"Buying stuff" Anne replied back. Anne wasn't hurt easily, she just needed to talk to Yuuna about her bow..

Kyle nodded then walked over to Layla and Jayden and kissed the back of thier hands.

When Kyle kissed her hand, Layla blushed. "I'm Layla." She noticed that he was very handsome and polite, but Anne had said that he liked older girls. She could understand that, but it didn't hurt to dream...right?

Jayden sensed an oppurtunity and said, "Oh I'm Jayden, but Layla wants to know if your single."

Layla's mouth dropped, and she turned even more red. She wanted to die.

Kyle looked a little confused then laughed. "Yes I am single, but, your little to young for me" He said to Layla.

Ann looked atKyle, "Stop fooling around!" She shouted a little. By this time Anne was working on the bow once more.

Yuuna shuffled back down the street carrying three, fifteen pound sacks. She was almost back to Kyle's house when she heard Anne's scream. Yuuna quickened her pace. She nearly broke down the door trying to get in. When she did enter, she assumed that Anne had lost her temper. No unwanted guests were there, Kyle was charming the girls, Ann was fixing the bow.

"Finally!" Anne seemed angry for a second, "What did you do to this bow?" Anne asked a little calmer.

Yuuna knew better than to tell the entire truth. "A mugger tried to rob me and knocked off my bow, those who were passing stepped on it and broke it." Ann seemed to like this answer. The truth was she was pushed over, a large rock in the street, that, along with Yuuna's weight broke the bow.

Kyle winked at Yuuna but proceeded to charm the girls, "What are two pretty girls doing traveling with Yuuna? She never stays in one place too long."

Layla liked talking to Kyle. She liked almost every guy she saw, so Jayden was in the very least surprised when she continued to flirt with him.

"We like to travel and stuff. And Yuuna is really nice. But, why are a you single? You're cute and charming." She didn't blush this time, but instead smiled. "Why don't you go out with Jayden? That way, you can be my brother-in-law."

Jayden laughed and spoke to her, "Layla, why would I try to steal your man?"

This time, she blushed and flashed Kyle the sexiest smile she could give. Anyone had to admit that she was a cute girl and fun to be around.

"I just haven't met the right girl yet." Kyle said to Layla, "I'm afraid your sister may be a little young too."

Yuuna walked over to Layla and Jayden and handed them black shoulder packs, her pack was a silver-white. "Go change if you haven't already, then put the clothes you're not wearing in the middle pack." Inside the pack was wraps of dried, salted meat, water sacks, and assorted fruit that can be stored for a while before they spoil. There were also small bread loafs, honey and assorted knives.

Yuuna sat down to take care of her own pack then Anne said, "The bedrooms are down the hall if you want to change there." Anne then started talking to Yuuna, "I've reinforced the bow, it's a temporary fix, I'll have a new bow like that ready in few days if you come this way again. "Yuuna nodded at Anne, "We'll see." Yuuna said back.

Layla jumped up from her seat. "Oh! We can change into our new outfits now! This is going to be so much fun!" She gave Kyle a cute, innocent smile and grabbed Jayden's hand. "Come on! Come on! Help me choose one!"

Jatden gave in to her and followed her down the hall. Jayden changed into her black pants and blouse, and Layla changed into her green dress. When they came out, Layla twirled in circles letting her dress flow.

"How do you like it, Yuuna?"

"Very cute." Yuuna said to her, she was done with packing her sack when they came out, "Did you put the extra clothes away?" Yuuna asked while admiring the beautiful craftsmanship of the silk.

Anne stood up and walked over to Yuuna she whispered, "Are you sure you can handle that girl? I mean, you have no experience with children." Anne was concerned about the safety of her bow rather than the safety of the girl she did not know.

Yuuna looked at her, "Don't worry about it. We'll be fine, so will the bow." Yuuna whispered back. Yuuna picked up her pack, which wieghed a good 20 pounds now that she was done packing it.

"Uh huh. We did. What do you think, Anne? Kyle?" Layla beamed.

Jayden walked over to Anne and Yuuna. She rolled her eyes and laughed. "That girl doesn't have an 'off' button."

Anne said, "Ya, my brother was like that once. I like your outfits, very nice." Anne laughed.

"And I thought you couldn't get prettier." Kyle said and winked at Layla and Jayden.

"We need to go, thank you for fixing my bow Anne." Yuuna said, "I owe you." She handed Anne her charge, 10 copper, Anne took them and put them in her purse under the folds of her dress.

"You really do owe me, but since your a good friend, I won't charge you for the bow I'm making for your next visit." Anne said.

Yuuna walked over and opened the door. She bowed slightly and walked out. "Until next time Anne." She said, she nodded at Kyle as well.

Layla waved at Kyle. "Bye Kyle! Thank you for calling me pretty!" Then she waved at Anne. "Bye, Anne! Thanks for fixing Yuuna's bow!"

"And letting you flirt with her brother," Jayden added.

Layla blushed but smiled. She ran out the door dragging Jayden behind her.

"Aah! Layla! Bye, Anne! Bye, Kyle!"

"So, Yuuna? Where are we going now?"

Yuuna smiled a little, "Now, were going somewhere, I can't tell you were, it's gonna be a surprise." Yuuna walked over into the middle of the street and whistled. A horse came galloping up the street and stopped beside Yuuna. It was an unusually big horse, she could carry an injured rider without a problem. Her horses name was Starlight. Yuuna hoisted Layla onto Starlight. Starlight kneeled as Yuuna said, "Jayden get on Starlight please. I can't lift you."

There was no saddle on Starlight, she hated saddles. She did however like to be having people on her back. She was excited that she was called after a month of being locked up in her stable. She wanted to get out and run.

"Jayden get on Starlight please. I can't lift you."


"Ah..I didn't think so," she laughed. She climbed onto the huge horse with Layla. "She's so pretty, Yuuna. What kind of horse is she?"

Layla started braiding Starlight's mane. She paid no attention to her sister's question. Although Layla knew a lot about horses, she decided not to make fun of her for asking what kind of horse it was. She didn't feel like bragging about her smarts.

She gave up braiding her mane and started petting and scratching her neck.

Yuuna smiled at Jayden,"She's a Clydesdale." She said as she stroked the brown horse's mane. She was called Starlight because she liked to sleep under the stars and she was born at night.

Yuuna hopped onto the back of Starlight and she (Starlight) started trotting off. They trotted to the border where Yuuna jumped off again and Starlight twitched. Yuuna walked up to Starlight's face and said, "Kino ke ai ki na." 'choose the safest path to' then said, "Ashgrown Forest." then climbed back onto Starlight and they trotted off again.
