Bejei stood quietly near the water, gazing into it with his cold red eyes. He had to show Mia the true him anyway, and what better was the occasion then right now. He slowly turned around to face Mia, but his eyes altered to hazel once more only to conceal himself for the time being.

"Are you feeling better babe?" He asked her, clearly unlike Bejei to call Mia by such a term. "There's something I've been meaning to share with you for a while. I don't know how you will handle it." He waved for her to come closer.

Mia's face was hidden by teh darkness under the hood. She didn't know if she wanted to go closer to Bejei. Babe wasn't the normal name he called her... And for some reason every hair on the back of her neck was standing up.

She decided it would be better to play along... If it was the evil spirit he might not hurt her if she played along. She took several steps forward, but didn't go directly to him.

"What do you mean?"

Bejei walked over to Mia and his movements began to change as well as his behavior. It seemed like he was a totally different person from Bejei.

"I wanted to tell you that I love you. I hope you feel the same way about me." His voice also altered slightly as he spoke to Mia. "Although, I don't know if you will feel the same way when you see..."

He extended one hand out to Mia and even with his face hidden by the darkness, his eyes turned crimson. It could clearly be seen flickering in the darkness.

"You know about me... I can tell by the look in your eyes. Come with me, and be my queen. We shall rule over the land together." His hand still extended outward towards Mia. "Bejei is weak, and I will soon banish his spirit from this body forever."

Mia sucked in air fearfully when she saw his crimson eyes in the darkness. She took subconcious step back.

"You know about me... I can tell by the look in your eyes. Come with me, and be my queen. We shall rule over the land together." His hand still extended outward towards Mia. "Bejei is weak, and I will soon banish his spirit from this body forever."

She wanted to hit him so terribly now. Hit him for hurting her the way he did... For using Bejei to hurt her. Why did he wish to hurt her?

"Why me? What do you want with me?" she asked him.

Bejei cackled sadistically at Mia's question. How could she be so naive? Maybe, he could tell her, but what fun is that to ruin the surprise? Also, she might kill the being inside her if she knew the truth. He's too cunning to allow her to know his true purpose.

"I need you like all great leaders do. I need a strong woman by my side who will tend my wounds after battle... who will kiss away my pain and sorrows... who will satisfy my ever growing lust." He told her as he took a few steps forward. "

"Why do you care about Bejei? He can never be as powerful as me." Bejei told Mia. "Just accept your destiny and be my queen."

Mia was glad to have the cloak, it would keep him from seeing the fact she was trembling. His words brought images of what he had done to her and how he had vialated her. She took small steps backwards until she backed into a tree.

She tried to control her breathing, to keep it from sounding shaky.

"I care for Bejei because he is kind..." she said softly. "What if I don't want to be your queen... What if I don't want to accept this destiny... There are far more beautiful women in this world than me... There are far more stronger men then Bejei... Go to them."

Bejei laughed madly at Mia's reaction and reply. It amused him greatly, and he couldn't help himself but continued to laugh. After a moment, he calmed himself down, but a large smile still lingered on his lips before turning upside down into a frown.

"Kind? You think Bejei is kind? He's far from a kind and gentle person. I know..." He stated. "You're too naive, and you don't know anything at all this whole time you've been with him. He's a cold blooded killer. A sellsword with the only thought of killing for pay."

He took a few steps towards Mia who was leaning against a tree. "You have no choice but to be my queen. If you don't then I will kill Bejei. You wouldn't want that on your conscience do you?" He revealed to her a sinister smile. "You and Bejei have a bond, and with it... that makes you the one for me. Heh... Bejei is still unaware of how I came to be, but I will tell you."

Bejei walked foward again until he was merely a feet from Mia. "All the hatred, pain, and negative energy that Bejei formed within himself... he bottled them up inside instead of releasing them. All his emotions compressed together along with his bloodlust and killing was enough to create... me. Yes. I'm Bejei's dark side plus everything else. You could say that we're... brothers. Now you know... are you still able to care about someone like Bejei?"

Mia wanted to run away now. Run away more than anything. He was to close, she should have ran away when his voice altered. But, she stupidly stayed to find out what he wanted.

'He'll kill Bejei if I don't agree? But, that would mean killing himself! No... not if he meant by when he takes over completly... then...'

"Why should I agree... you will only kill Bejei eventually when you take over!" Mia proteted, her beautiful still hidden by the darkness under the hood.

Her trembling hands were clutching the bark of the tree behind her. Her knees shook uncontrolablly, but all this was hidden by the cloak and her dress.

"I'm not that stupid..." she muttered.

No, this wasn't Bejei. This was a totally different man from Bejei. She looked at him and all she saw was a different man, though the looks were almost completely the same. This one was an evil sadistically twisted man.

He was a foot away... only a foot. Maybe... No he could catch her if she did that... He could catch her if she did anything!

"Please.... Find someone else! There is a bond between Bejei and I... but when you take over the bond with be gone. There will be nothing to tie you to me."

Bejei didn't move forward while he stared at Mia. Obviously, she didn't want to join him and be his queen. Maybe, he had to do it the hard way. However, she had no choice if she didn't want her beloved Bejei to die. He could still take over the body while keeping Bejei's spirit dormant within.

"My lovely Mia. You don't have a choice. Do you honestly think I won't kill Bejei? I can tell you right now that he's desperately struggling to come back to you." He responded with a cackle. "However, he will fail since I've grown stronger now. The bond you two share can still remain intact even after I take control of his body."

He folded his arms across his chest like Bejei usually did. "If you be my queen then I promise you that I won't harm Bejei. He will still live within me, and I will allow him to see you if you like. How does that offer sound my queen?"

"I have no choice do I?" she whispered the question more to herself than him. "Even if he dies you still won't let me go?" She turned her head upwards slightly, the darkness of the tree allowed no light to hit her features so once again her face was hidden.

'I don't want Bejei to die! I don't want his spirit gone forever... But, I don't want to be this bastards queen either! But, I have to think of Bejei... I can't be selfish. I have to think of him...' she thought sadly, clenching her fists so tight that her knuckles were white. She had to force it from her mouth.

"Alright..." she said, her head falling in a shameful way. "Alright I'll be your stupid queen..." At that moment she felt as if those words had bound her in invisible shackles that were no in this things hands. This thing....

If he was a seperate person than Bejei, though they shared the same body he would... well should, have a different name. She wasn't about to call this thing Bejei, no Bejei was NOT his name. Bejei belonged to the man she cared so deeply for she would give her life up so he my live, even if it wasn't a full life.

"You're name isn't Bejei is it? I need to know my king's name..." she said, she tried not to make her voice sound harsh.

Bejei grinned evily as Mia reluctantly accepted his offer. He knew she would if she cared about Bejei so much. Her love for him would make her his... queen. He enjoyed how the turn of events occurred. It was thanks to Mia that he was released from his eternal slumber. Yes. Bejei unleashed his rage, and it set him free.

"You want to know my name my queen?" Bejei said in a mocking tone. "My name... my name is Bolrock. Kind of ironic how my name begins with a B just like Bejei. In the genes I guess..."

He offered his hand out to Mia and smiled mischievously. "Take my hand my beautiful queen. After I fully take control of Bejei's body I will have my full power, and I will grant you immortality so we can live forever."

Mia looked at his hand fearfully. What would happen when she took his hand? Would he try and have his way with her or something equally horrible?!

She reached out, having to expose her shaking hand to him as she placed it in his. "Bolrock..." she said shakily.

She took a step forward, not wanting to anger him and make him hurt her.

"I guess since I've agreed I can leave now?"

"Mia... why are you trembling?" Bejei asked with a concern expression on his face. "Are you ok?"

He held her hand gently as he stared at her cloak figure. He didn't know why, but he felt a little strange. He wondered if it's the weather that made him feel that way.

"Are you still mad at me?"

Mia smiled when she heard Bejei's voice. She was glad he was back. She almost cried she was so happy he was back.

"N-no... I'm not mad at you...." she said, and through her arms around him quickly, hugging him tightly. "I'm just tired thats all..."

"Just... tired..." she said more to herself than to him. She was tired of this evil spirit that was now her owner it seemed.

Bejei was surprised at Mia's reaction, but he embraced her nevertheless. He held her tightly in his arms while he thought about how their life would be like in the future. It was a pleasant thought...

"Lets take you to your tent then. It's been a long day for you, and you need your rest." He said while releasing her from the hug and holding her hand in his. "There's been something I've been meaning to tell you for some time now." He didn't know how to say it so he just decided to say it. "I love you..."
