Soran was grateful that she stayed. He tried not to think about what he'd just done, and to just focus on her safe embrace. It partially worked. Despite himself, he slowly felt his muscles relax. "Maybe," he said. She seemed to understand his mind better than anyone else he could think of, so it was possible she could do something. But what or how were mysteries to him. He felt very lucky; it was an odd way to feel, but that was the most pervasive emotion he had as he rested his head on her chest and drifted gradually back to sleep.

Mizuki couldn't go back to sleep no matter how hard she tried. The recent event had caused her to be wide awake now. How could she help Soran get over these nightmares? she wondered. She doubt her powers could help too much, she could only see what he saw. Sighing to herself softly and never stopping the rthym of her hands on his back, Mizuki stared off into space trying to think. Her mind could only think about what she had seen. The killing, the senseless slaughter...

The Arken army were heartless, but Soran had seemed to have no choice. His parents played him false, Mizuki knew the truth behind that. All because of some stupid curse. He wasn't curse himself, it was just the life he had led for so long. But now she could help him mend that, she'd give him the purpose he longed for. To know every answer, to experience love and trust...

She just wanted to know how she could help the hauntings in his mind stop. Mizuki closed her eyes and the rthym of her hands stopped on his back, she was fast asleep.

After that, Soran slept soundly in Mizuki's arms. The dreams did not come again, and a faintly contented expression even crossed his features as he rested against her. In time, the sun finally rose outside, filtering gold light into the window.

Rai was sitting in the same chair she had been in all night. She wasn't awake in the least. In fact, she was sound a sleep. Her head rested lightly on the book in front of her, her arms hung limply at her sides. It did seem like a very uncomfortable position, but she was to a sleep notice.

OOC: No wait, I thought I had Mizuki put her to bed!!!


Mizuki only turned her head as the light fell upon her eyes. She wasn't even dreaming but she was comfortable.

OOC: She slept walked

Soran was slowly coming out of his sleep. He sensed the sunlight in his eyes and unwittingly tried to escape it by burying his face deeper into Mizuki's chest.

Mizuki moaned slightly and her eyes fluttered open. She did not want to be awake. She felt as if she had only just fallen asleep and now they had to be awake. She groaned again soflty and wrapped her arms around Soran and rolled out from under him to lay on her side. She still held him close and was trying to snuggle back down into the bed and closer into Soran.

Soran woke as Mizuki's boobs deposited him back onto the dull texture of the sheets. His eyes flickered open and he felt Mizuki's warmth radiating onto him. With a dull sense of surprise he realized he was naked and remembered what they had done the night before. It brought a look of pleasure to his still-drowsy features. He ran his hand lightly along the length of Mizuki's side, following the curve of her waist. Like an afterthought, he recalled the other incident of the night before, pondering it for a moment before deciding not to worry about it yet. He'd find a way around it....maybe next time he could tie himself up beforehand...he began considering how such a plan would be executed, wondering what materials and how much would be appropriate to restrain him. He daydreamed about it casually, pulling up formulas and the physical properties of various materials in his head whimsically, all the while barely conscious.

Mizuki cough slightly from having a dry throat. It caused her to wake completely and she wasn't too happy about that. When she realized Soran was awake-she felt his hand caressing her side-she blushed and closed her eyes again, smiling to herself. She felt suddenly giddy, but still sleepy.

Rai came awake and looked around the house, not quite sure what was going on. It was morning, the sun was coming up. Rai gasped. PARENTS DAY!

She had to go wake Mizuki and Soran up! They had to go to Parent's Day! RIGHT AWAY...

Rai ran up the steps, her feet steps echoing down the hall. She first opened Mizuki's room, but she wasn't in there. Probably waking Soran up!

She ran towards Soran's door. She practically KICKED it in to get into the room as quickly as possible... Really, Soran was wearing off on her.

"GET UP! ITS PARENT'S DAY! You have to get READY!!!!!" She screamed happily, standing in the door way, not yet fully registered the fact that they were naked and under blankets.

"Erm.... GET UP!" she said louder.

Soran stiffened, and not in the same way as he had the last night (and if you want me to be more 'exact', let me know Mizuki ^_~). The sound of Rai's foot breaking in their door and her jovial command to get up served its desired effect. He looked across the foot of the bed at her in astonishment, ears burning. "Rai, you may have to give us a minute," he said sternly, twitching his head toward Mizuki as if the child would understand the situation.

Rai tilted her head for a moment, not really understanding the situation... Soran would have to give the "talk" later...

"Why are you naked?" she asked and giggled, then clutched her stomach she was giggling so hard. "Okay! ONE MINUTE!" she said and laughed her way out of the room.

Mizuki bolted up in bed once Rai had left in her giggles. Her hair was a mess and she was clutching the blanket to her chest.

"Is she gone?!" she asked, her heart pounding from the excitment of being caught in bed with Soran. Not like she had anything to hide, but this was something new and possibly hard for Rai to understand.

ooc: stop the hintings!! or Mizu will jump Soran in a darkalley!!!

OOC: Ok, I'll stop hinting. Although a 'dark alley' may indeed have been involved, not that I'm hinting or anything.

"Soran relaxed somewhat as Rai left and dropped his tense posture. He turned to Mizuki and tucked her hair back behind her ear with his finger. "She's gone to prepare for parents' day," he said, the concept sounding oddly different to him after last night. For a moment it almost felt like Rai was their biological child.

Soran shook his head slowly to clear out his thoughts, and began to climb out of bed.
