Tenele smiled at him. "Well, it is a direct order from our Queen, and since your bound by all them charms and spells you have to obey," Tenele comented. "Besides I'd do the job just to see you have to be love slave... What if they make you where a special uniform?"

Tenele once again couldn't help but laugh. This time she had to hold her stomach she was laughing so hard.

"Maybe a loin cloth?" she asked in almost a gasp.

Talon smiled at her and took a seat at a table. "Well, I don't know about being a hero..." he said smiling at her charmingly as a waitress came to him and asked him what he'd like to eat.

"What ever you've fixed for breakfast," he said and she nodded, then turned to Ylia.

"What would you like miss?"

Regaining his composure for most intents and purposes, Vlad took on a psychotic smile. "With my physique, I may be too much for them to handle. But, I suppose if it's Queenie's orders, I'll have to oblige. He cast a demonic look at the messenger. "Is he done talking?" he asked Tenele casually.

Christian looked at Vlad and nodded quickly. "I'm through," he responded while Tenele was catching her breath.

Tenele sighed with a smile. "I really needed that," she said, looking at Vlad and giving him a wink.

"Excellent," Vlad said flatly, and with a burst of telekinetic force, the shocked messenger flew up and straight out of the open hotel window, landing unceremoniously in a murky trough where the horses were drinking on the street below.

This seemed to cheer the vampire up perfectly. "Whoops," he grinned devilishly as he turned back to Tenele.

"Vlad!" Tenele said surprised and stood up quickly running to the window with energy she couldn't afford to burn to check on the man who was safely, but wet, on the ground.

She sighed and turned around walking back towards Vlad with her hands on her hips. "You know you could have killed him!"

"You mean I didn't?" he smiled seductively, coming closer to her.

Tenele arched an elegant silver eyebrow. "No..." she said looking at him warily. Did he plan on seeking revenge on her for laughing at him?

She backed up slightly, bumping into the edge of the bed. "Now Vladimir lets not do anything rash..."

Vlad could almost smell Tenele's tension as she backed away from him. "I've never been a love slave before; I tend to prefer the dominant role," he grinned. A cool, smooth hand reached up and caressed her cheek. "So little experience...Do you suppose I should practice?" He was right in front of her face now, red eyes peering down into hers roguishly.

Tenele closed her eyes for a moment and leaned her face against his hand. Then her eyes opened quickly. Did he mean to pracitce on her!

"Eh... uh... I'm sure we can find you a prostitute somewhere for that sort of thing Vlad," she said.

It wasn't that she didn't want Vlad. No, it was the total opposite right now. She just felt he had something up his sleeve.

Knowing him he'd probably would seduce her just to undress her and float her out in the middle of the street as pay back for laughing at him!

Kyosuke noted that Shinobu was probably worried about him, though he chose not to say anything about it and instead gave her a reassuring smile. As for her suggestion about finding the inn the others stayed at, he defers judgement over to the Shogun, whom, for all he knew, might have wanted to travel around the city for more.

Fortuntately for both Shinobu and Kyosuke, Kitanai had quite enough of this city by now. He takes a moment to carefully ponder his decision, as a good leader should, before nodding in agreement. "It would be better if we met up with your comrades now," he said. "And perhaps I'll meet my own on the way there."

"That sounds fine," Ylia agreed. She wasn't sure what they were having, but she wasn't too picky, anyway.

When the watitress had left, she smiled at Talon. "I would've hated to ask for somthing hat they don't eat... What do they eat around here, anyway?"

"Oh, that's not necessary. I'm in no rush to be in that class of company any sooner than I have to," Vlad said smoothly, and backed off. "Whatever will I wear?" His dark, twisted voice made the words haunting instead of vain.

Shinobu nodded and pointed in the direction of the road that led towards the inn she had bought a room for but had no stayed in. A waste of money, but she really hadn't thought about it until now. "It's that way," she said gently.

Talon glanced up at her and tilted her head. It sounded almost as if she felt she was in another realm or something where everyone acted differently and eated differently.

"They usually have lots of different styles of food... But, Ongorethian style is rare," he told her, taking a sip of his tea when it was brought to him.

Tenele almost sighed when he backed off. Not that she was afraid of him. No, she just worried about what twisted joke he might have up his sleeve.

"Whatever will I wear?"

Tenele smirked and bit her bottom lip slightly. "Eh... nothing?" she asked, and then she started laughing again. "Well, eventually?" she asked again innocently. "I'm sorry Vlad, I just can't help it. The thought of you having to pretend to be a love slave is just amusing... Though, I feel sorry for you. But, don't you have some vampire way of knocking people out or entrancing them into thinking they did something they didn't."

"Ha! I'm a vampire, not a hypnotist," Vlad said dryly. "Anyway, there's no way we can go with you in that condition," he said, placing a hand on top of her head paternally. As he spoke, the water basin in the corner of the room had risen from the floor and slowly floated directly above her head.

Tenele blinked. "What condition?" she asked him, wondering if he meant the blood loss. Yes, she still felt shaky and tired and weak, but she could still ride a horse fairly well.
