"Alright... One moment." He stepped to the door and yelled out, "Steel come here!" A boy come walking into the room who was about a foot taller than Rai for his age and had a very cute face that didn't hide the fact he would be a looker when he got older.

"Steel and Rai, apologize to eachother," the headmaster said.

Soran eyed the kid that had just walked in with a mix of intrigue and suspicion. He took his hand off Rai's head and waited for her to make her own decision about the situation.

"I'm sorry I kicked you," Rai said. She didn't mind apologising.

"Well, I'm not sorry I pushed you!" he said defiantly.

"Oh yeah?"

"Oh yeah!!"

"Maybe I should kick you again," she said and narrowed her eyes.

"I'll push you back!"

"Grrr.."

"GRrr...."

Then the little boy charged forward, kissed Rai on the cheek and ran out of the room.

"I think that was his apology." The headmaster smirked.

Mizuki blinked in surprise as Steel ran out of the room. She hid her smirk behind her hand.

Soran's eyes followed the two children's little exchange blandly. So that's how it was. Without offering feedback, he turned to the headmaster. "Well, that's how it is. Now, we'd like to be excused," he said flatly. It was not expressed as a request.

Rai's eyes got extremely wide when Steel kissed her. "EWWW!!!!" she screached. "Ewww... Nasty! Cooties! Gross! Beat him up daddy!"

"Alright," Soran said indifferently, standing up and moving toward the door. In truth, he just wanted an excuse to get out of the stuffy office and the headmaster, by whose charm he was not particularly impressed.

Mizuki rolled her eyes comically. "Daddy wont REALLY beat him up, Rai." she smiled then excused herself and her family from the headmaster. It didn't hit her that she had called Soran "daddy", letting anyone assume that they were actually married.

"Aww... why not? Daddy beats everyone else up..." Rai said and smiled and waved at a little red headed girl that she had become friends with. "Do I get a spanking like the headmanthing said?" she asked, tilting her head up at Mizuki neither worried or calm.

"No." Mizuki said smiling, "But then again I'm not really your disiplinary for school." She said with a hint of amusment and a smirk. She glanced at Soran who looked releived to finally have gotten out of the office.

Rai giggled and followed out behind them, running up and grabbing Mizuki's hand, then reaching out as soon as she spotted Soran to grab his hand, looking up at him with a smile.

"Can we go home now?!" she asked with a grin.

"Gladly," Soran replied dully, taking Rai's hand and herding her and Mizuki down the street. Before they'd gotten out of the schoolyard, the door opened again and the headmaster called out after them.

"Rai! Don't forget to let your... parents, know about the announcement we talked about in class!" she reminded her.

"Uh-hu!" Rai said and for a moment had no clue what the headmaster was talking about at first. Suddenly she remembered.

"Oh! Parent's Day!" she squealed happily, grinning at both of her parents. "You are coming!"

Soran's expression fell, if it could possibly be any less enthused. "Parents Day," he remarked flatly, casting a 'what the hell is that and do we have to' glance over at Mizuki.

Mizuki blinked. "Parents Day?" she questioned. "Do we have to come in and meet your teachers?"
