(LORE) HEALING
Mizuki sighed, grabbed a pancake and shoved it in Soran's mouth.
"Eat then, build yourself engery and whatnot." She turned back to the hot pan, smiling to herself and flipped the pancake off the pan and onto the plate. She poured the last of the batter onto the hot pan and waited for the pancake to cook. She tried hard not to laugh at what she just did.

Soran's eyes widened slightly at Mizuki. He gave her a challenging stare while his tongue tried to negotiate the large fluffy pastry into a position where he wouldn't choke on it. He reached up and took her chin between his thumb and forefinger seductively. WHen her jaw loosened, he snuck a pancake from the plate and took his revenge.
Mizuki staggered at the pancake stuffed in her mouth. She glared back at him mockingly, they both looked ridiculous with pancakes stuffed in their mouths. Before they wasted the pancakes for everyone else, Mizuki chewed her pancaked, swallowed and turned the hot pan off.
She stuck her tounge out at Soran for good measure then took the pplate of pancakes to the table.

Soran straightened up pridefully, swallowing the pancake as he followed her out into the common room where the table was. He walked to the couch where Rai was sleeping and pulled her gently upright. "Food's done," he told her, shifting her up into his arms so he could take her to her chair.
He placed her at the table and went upstairs to find Siren. When he walked into her room, she was sitting in her bed with the sheets already made, hovering over something and glancing back at him warily. "What?" he demanded.
"Noffing," she defended, but he'd already stepped around her to see that she was hiding two big crumb-covered plates. She swallowed what was obviously in her mouth and grinned. "I was hungry, so I had some cake."
"'Some cake' is different from 'two whole cakes'," Soran commented. "Do you want pancakes?" he continued cautiously, as if offering a hot dog eating contest winner a bowl of spaghetti.
"Actually, there's an errand I'd like to run. I should be back around midday," Siren said lightly, getting up. "It's good to see you in good health, master. I'll catch up with you later." With that, she went to the balcony by her window and took flight.
Soran watched her with a slight frown. It wasn't like Siren to turn down junk food, but maybe it was nothing. He turned and went back downstairs, deciding to leave it at that for now.

Soran was pulling out a chair when he noticed Rai still hadn't had much success eating. It was a little disconcerting watching her have so much trouble with such a small thing. He went back to her side and took her fork from her tired hand. Lifting her knife from the table, he cut a grid across the pancake until it was in biteable portions, and deposited the fork back into her mouth with a piece of pancake. "Should I interpret this to mean that, given enough energy to either throw soap at me or consume pancakes, you place precedence on the former?" he asked with a hint of sarcasm.

Rai looked up at him not really understanding his question. "Eh? Huh?" she asked tilting her head and narrwoing her eyes as she chewed on her pancake, taking the fork from him and wrapping her whole hand around the fork, eating the small pancake peices as she still tried to figure out Soran's question.

Soran just looked at Mizuki, not comprehending why what he'd said should be confusing. Even if he could change the level of his speech for a child's speaking level, it wouldn't occur to him to do so. By the time he was Rai's age, he'd been reading complex physics to make up for his lack of friends. "Siren's off on an errand," he answered Mizuki's question. "She said to eat without her."
Mizuki pondered what Siren coiuld possibly be doing, then she thought it may have something to do with the Dark Angels. Maybe she was checking up on Blade for Mizuki? But, Mizuki just shruged, not wanting to get her hopes up then started to eat. Still she wondered how Blade was doing over there.

Soran sat down across from Mizuki and Rai and looked at the food in front of him. He was starving, his stomach knotted into a tight ball. He made a mental note to eat normally and avoid eating more than his share as he pulled a pancake onto his plate. Despite his efforts, the pancake was gone in about 10 seconds. He stopped himself from reaching straight for another one and took a long drink from his cup (how many glasses of water had he drunk so far?)
Mizuki eyed Soran and watched him carefully. To her, it looked like he was purposfully not eating enough. So, she reaced across the table and put more pancakes on his plate. She smiled at him sweetly and took another bite of her food.
"You're eating whether or not you want to." she said idily. Pretending not to look too interested.

She smiled behind her hand as she put more food in her mouth. He was cute when he was disoriented. Poor man didn't know what to do with himself.
Mizuki's thoughts kept straying and she started to stare at the ceiling. She kept thinking of how good Soran's chest looked, and felt under her hands. She wondered if this morning was some fantasy dream and her mind was playing tricks on her. She hated double guessing an event in her life, it made it seem less real.
Eventually, she had stopped eating and a small blush rose to her cheeks as she remembered the way Soran had pushed her against the wall. His hands had almost--
'But what if he didn't mean to?' Her mind pointed out. Mizuki's blush faded and she averted her eyes from the wall to stare at her plate. Suddenly, she wasn't hungry anymore.

Rai finished her meal slowly and now that she had a full belly it just made her all the more tired. She yawned and while Mizuki was ordering Soran to eat she climbed out of her chair and wobbled over to the couch. She grabbed her blanket and wrapped up in it like a cocoon then made a breathing/eye hole to watch Mizuki and Soran with.
