Mi dressed in a new nightgown and laid back in bed. She was so mad, though she could do nothing about it. She was so very angry.... Why would Damien do that too her. Had he always been an ass or was she just no noticing it?

Eve's back hit the wall and she moaned. Damien kissed her but with little passion. He ripped her clothes as she propped between his hips and the wall. He made his way down her neck as she unbuckled his pants.

He shoved her against the wall again and she groaned.

Thorn and Trydent heard the sounds of the room down the dark hall. They glanced at one another. "Well I got mine," Thorn said with a grin. Trydent pushed him and went up on the top deck.

It was morning as Mi left her room and ascended to the top deck. She walked directly to the bow of the ship and admired the water.

"It seems Damien has become a bit of an annoyance to you, no?" Ahriman said with a smile as he came up along side the woman, admiring her facial expression. "What a shame that he almost harmed a...." He stopped and smiled before looking up wards at the glowing and rippling water sky. "I guess comparing you to a flower would affend one such as yourself."

"Yes, it would, I'm hardly as delecate as a flower."

"No... not delecate... as beautiful as a flower," he said with a smirk. "But the passion and determination of a flower that has been set a flame."

"Are you trying to romance me?" Mi asked, leaning against the railing and watching the water splash against the side of the ship.

"No, Lady De'Lrongrey... I am merely trying to introduce conversation." Ahriman said and glanced back at the metal covered crew. "I am not allowed to stop the will of Death.... I am merely the Hand of Death and it is not m place to save lives... However, as I work for the God of Darkness, our Lord and Master Verin... I have been given strict orders to watch over you until it is your time in the place of destiny to fall into the arms of Death... Therefore if that man tries to kill you I must intercede... Though it is against my nature."

"I don't need your protection," Mi spat.

"I'm afraid you are not to his level yet," Ahriman said. "Like it or not, I'll do what I must to please my God."

Damien stirred in from his slumber to find the soft complected Eve next to him. Her delicate body wrapped in the satin sheets. To be a ship of the dead, it had nice furnishings. Eve stirred as the fire mage rose from the bed. He pulled another sheet around his exposed areas and stepped out into the hallway. It was empty, dead. Damien made his way back into the room, tossing the sheet onto Eve's head, causing her to move again.

The cold water dripped from Damien's face. The water brought an invigorating new life to him. The dark figure in the mirror imitated his every move. He saw no face. Only a shadow. "Who are you?" Damien asked. No answer. "Who are you?" He snarled. His voice a bit louder. Again, no answer. He yelled violently as his fist busted the glass.

Eve awoke and sat up at the dark roar. She remained seated on the bed, pulling the cover tight to her body. Her eyes glowed with fear from the sudden sound.

Days and days passed and life aboard the ship for Mi was spent mostly in her room meditating and training herself. She tried to tell herself she was just locked in her room on land somewhere, not really wanting to realize that she was underwater... Water... how she hated it.

"Will you be eating today, or has your so called 'father's curse taken away you desire too?" a voice, that had grown so familiar that it almost was pleasant, filled the room.

"I find myself to sea-sick to eat," Mi said as she rose from her sitting position on the floor. "It is sea-sickness and not a curse."

"We both know what it is," Ahriman said. "We both know how long you have left...." He grew closer and stood next to her side as she looked out the small porthole. "Come on deck with me, the veiw is much nicer."

"Its water," Mi said drearily.

"Then stay in this room, alone... aren't you the least bit lonely?" Ahriman pondered, though the sound of interest in his voice was suddenly lost since he knew very well what the answer was.

"Men and women like us are hardly ever lonely, the ghosts of the past keep us enough company..." Mi glanced to her side at him. "How long before we reach the OuterLands?"

"Another two days and we will come a shore there, Damien will be free to choose his army."

Damien listened as the two talked on the other side of the door. He wasn't quite sure what Ahriman was referring to. He seemed to have lost some of his madness over the past couple of days. The boat had become very quiet and 'dead', he thought with a laugh.

He continued his way to the upper deck when he heard the two stop talking. He enjoyed the thought of building his massive army, and it sounded better listening to someone else say something about it.

The ship surfaced off the coast of a desert plain. A large city was built upon the sand with a large palace that was built very oddly for any palace that they had ever seen. The towers were curved with strange roofs that were rounded and peeked at the top. Everything shimmered from golden sand. The roofs of the palacer were painted in many different colors and trimmed in metalic gold, which caught the light of the sun.

"Welcome to Ballraba, the City of Devils," Ahriman laughed. "This is the shore to the lands where the God of Darkness came from.... Welcome home," he told them as her turned to look at them all.

"City of Devils!" Damien mused. "I like it. Very comfy and home feeling." He walked by Ahriman clapping him on the shoulder. "Good job."

Damien looked at the desolate land and the towering palaces. Trydent and Thorn followed him off the ship.

Mi followed them as they made there way towards the boats that would take them to shore. The ship anchored off and as they piled into the boats, Ahriman with them, they were lowered to the ocean and soon began there treck.

It wasn't long before they reached the docks. The streets were busy with merchants and peasants bargaining there way into things. The garb was odd. Everyone was dressed in clothing very diffferent from those in Heirot.

Ahriman looked at Damien. "Do you know where to start?"

Damien grinned evily, "Nope, but I'll figure it out before long." He looked around at all the souls and soon to slaves. "They will all bow down to me... and my queen." He turned to Mi and winked. "... Before we leave here."

He stepped onto the solid ground and made his way down the dock.

Mi glanced at Damien, slightly confused by what he meant. She then looked at Ahriman who she could swear was glaring daggers at Damien. Did Damien actually want her back now? She was confused because the man had mood swings more than a woman on her moon cycle.

"Are we friends again?" she asked as she began to walk past him to move into the city, her body coing mere inches from his as she walked around him.

Ahriman wiped the look from his face and continued with his 'all professional' stance, though even he could not deny that he longed for the fire mage as well. She was beautiful, confedent, and powerful, what man wouldn't?

Damien felt the heat radiate from Mi's body as she moved past him. "I didn't know we weren't friends. All people have their little disputes." He followed behind her. "We just had a bad night." He couldn't hold back the smirk that crept across his face.

Mi glaced to the side and watched him with her cold blue eyes. "Well, then, the nights over... So lets begin a new," she offered. The people in the streets watched them with keen intrest, since it was not every day men and women dressed as them waltzed into the city without being interrogated by the guards.

As if the stares had triggered the attention of the guard that was on petrol, six broud shouldered and armed to the teeth men in tunics walked up with there heads held high. They were scared to disfigurement, with bruitish smirks upon there hideous faces.

"I don't believe we've seen the likes of you around here...." one said, his eyes training on the woman that stood next to Damien.

"I don't believe I've ever seen anything quite as ugly as you," Mi said, forgetting her place and the fact she was in a foreign kingdom.

"Why you little bitch..." he muttered, placing his hand on his sword.

His friend touched the guard on the shoulder and laughed loudly. "I like her, she's feiry."

Mi chuckled darkly. "Oh, you have no idea..."

"Mmmm...." the man mused, licking his lips. Finally his attention was directed back to Damien, who seemed to be the leader. "What is your business in Ballraba?"

Damien looked around as if not noticing them at first. "Oh, your talking to me..." The guard stared at him a bit confused.

"Well, you know," Damien continued. "The usual; slaves, soldiers, and some whores." He saw how they eyed Mi and smiled again. "And you might wanna watch your eyes. They may just melt out of your head."

"What?" the guards asked and looked from one to the other, have no idea what the crazy man was talking about. "Well, to trade here you have to be approved... so you need to meet our king for that... And he's not as nice as we are... You might want to watch that tongue, little bitch... We'll take you to meet him...." The men looked from one to another as if they shared an inside joke that they would dare not let the others know.

Mi glanced at Damien. "I don't think this is going to be as easy as walking in and taking what we like. I think we might have to bargain... or make friends in extremely high places," she offered. "Like a king...."

Eve giggled. "Making friends is your specialty isn't it Mi..." She ran up to Damien and hugged his arm, batting her eyes up at him. She then glared at Mi as if she were taking Damien for herself.
