Elena turned her head towards him slowly, afraid he was lying to her. She almost started sobbing again when she realized it was really Airen. "Airen!" she said, her eyes glistening with tears. "Airen!" She lifted herself up and throug her one good arm around him and hugged him tightly, the other one limp at her side.

Her dress was lined in the back with blood lines that had soaked through almost staining the whole dress in the back with blood. She had bruises on her face, and a busted lip. The slit going up the side of the dress revealed her bare hip and the mark that Gargon had left.

She started crying, sobbing and gasping for air. She could hardly believe it was him. It was too good to be true that he had come for her. That Gargon was dead...

As Elena embraced him this time Airen noticed her broken arm. He wondered why he hadn't noticed it sooner. He guessed it was because he was just so excited to see her alive and unfortunately not so well. He took her arm in his hand and slowly moved his other hand back and forth over her arm. "This may hurt a bit," he said softly. All of a sudden her bone snapped back in place. He healed her other wounds and to his surprise he wasn't leaving any scars. His healing powers must be getting stronger.

Elena looked at him worriedly as she glacned for him her arm to him.

"This may hurt a bit," he said softly.

She practically screamed when he put her bones back in the right spot, but soon after it was healed and the pain was gone, but that couldn't erase the memories of how they got there. Remembering how it felt to be whipped and beaten and her arm broken...

She wanted to cry again, but she didn't want to seem insane to Airen, so she bit her bottom lip and blinked the tears from her eyes.

After Airen healed her wounds he put his arms around her and embraced her one more time. Everything else around him seemed to dissappear at this moment and all he could see was her magnificent beauty; all he could smell was her sweet essence; all he could hear was his and her heartbeats beating as one; and all he could feel was her soft breath flowing across the back of his neck as they hugged. Time seemed to stand still and this was the most precious moment in Airen's life. He thought he was so close to losing her and yet he somehow had the power to free her.

After a few moments Airen came back to reality and decided it was time to get out of this wretched place. He helped Elena to her feet and led her through this living hell. As they were walking they came acrss a demon. He tried to flee but Airen stopped him by cutting him off on every side with giant flames.

"Now all you have to do is show us how to get the hell out of here and you can go free." Airen said calmly to the demon. The demon looked at Airen in much fear and finally said "It's this way."

Airen and Elena followed him and they came out where Airen had destroyed the statue of Gargon. "Thank you!"Airen said to the demon and he made his leave. When Airen turned his back on the demon, the demon lunged at him with a small dagger, but Airen had predicted the attack and decentagrated the demon without even turning around. Airen knew he was getting stronger, but he also knew that he would never be powerful enough to stop Shea from taking his first born. This was his greatest fear now that he had Elena back. He was also faced with the decision of when he would break this news to Elena. He knew she would take it hard, but he had to tell her. As he thought about this he glanced to his right where Elena was walking along side him. He took her hand and softly whispered,"I love you!"

Elena wondered why the demons were so afraid of Airen... They seemed totally deathly afraid of him. Airen's new powers frightened Elena as much as they interested her. She knew Airen would never harm her on perpose, but so much power in a person she loved made her wonder what the consiquences was.

She looked at him and smiled softly, hugging close to him. "I love you too..."

Airen held her close and was just thankful that he still had her. It seemed that people were hearing about him destroying Gargon all over Arroes. Everyone and everything that walked by them seemed to be avoiding him. It was hard to believe that this was even the same town Elena and he had walked through where everyone wanted to fight him.

Airen knew that the first thing they had to do was find a place to stay. He stopped by the first inn they came to and went inside.

"We need a room for the night," Airen told the innkeeper at the front desk.

"That'll be 5 gold pieces," the innkeeper replied. Airen pulled out a bag of gold coins that he had snagged from the old man's house in Ongoreth right before he left in search of Elena and paid the innkeeper.

Elena was thankful for the room, but more thankful for the bath. She was locked inside the small bathing room where a large tub was filled with steaming hot water. Her dirty and ragged clothing was lying in a pile on the floor. She was under the water so far that only her head poked out. Her blond hair was dark brown from being wet and her eyes were closed. She was thankful that Airen had healed her, because she didn't have to worry about being sore, or the bath water singing her wounds...

She climbed out of the tub after scrubbing and washing her hair... She felt clean now... She pulled the fluffy towel around her, drying herself. Her eyes found the tattoo on the hip, the one with the strange design... She eyed it for a moment ,wondering why it hadn't faded since Gargon was dead, but then again she didn't know if it was meant to or not.

She didn't want to put her dirty clothes back on, because that would just make her feel dirty...

She looked through several closets and managed to find a robe she could where. She tied it tightly around her and went back to there room, opening the door and closing it behind her. She walked to the bed and felld down on it with a sigh of relief.

Airen had already had his shower as he saw Elena fall down on the bed. He was standing in front of the mirror beside the bathroom door shaving. After he dried his face he went and laid himself down beside her.

"I'm so glad I found you," he whispered as he twirled her hair in his fingertips."These past few dcays have been the worst of my life, but having you here now replaces that void. I love you." He kissed her soflty on her sweet lips.

Elena smiled softly. She didn't want to talk about what happened. She just wanted to forget that breif event that almost cost her her sanity.

"I love you to," she said and kissed him back, smiling softly. She rolled over on her side, draping an arm around him and hugging closer. "Lets not talk about it, okay? I want something happy..."

Airen kisses her again. A little more intamately this time. He puts his hand around her and embraces her fully.

"Will you marry me?" he softly whispered as he kissed her neck.

Elena wasn't surprised at all, but it didn't mean that it didn't make her so happy she could cry. He actually wanted to spend the rest of his life with her? He loved her so much he would marry her. It didn't seem like a surprise, but for some reason it made her heart beat faster.

Elena froze and finally she smiled sweetly, softly... "Yes!" she told him, hugging him tighter with a smile on her face. "Yes! I--- I don't know what to say!"

Aiern's heart began beating faster as the words left her mouth. He picked her up out of the bed and swung her around and around in his arms.

"I love you so much and I will always be here for you." He kissed her again and gently laid her back down on the bed. He slowly ran his hand down her thighs and they made sweet love all through the night.

Elena laid curled up next to Airen under the covers, her head resting on his chest, her arm out over his abdomen. She was completely content and comfortable. She was sleeping still, breathing evenly as sweet dreams passed through her head.

Airen stretched his arms above his head and felt Elena's soft breath on his chest. He smiled as he thought about last night. He lied there awake staring at the ceiling, gently running his fingertips over her fair-skinned back.

Elena shifted slightly at the tickling feeling on her back. She smiled in her sleep and shifted again as Airen tickled her back, of course not on perpose.
