Emora Deen:

Mia opened her eyes to find sunlight had filled her room, coming through the open windows in her small bedroom. A soft warm breeze blew outside lightly causing strands of her hair to move around. Mia sat up tiredly and rubbed her eyes with one hand as she held the covers up with the other.

Her room was cozy looking with cream walls and wooden floors. The bed looked like it was grown from the earth, carved to represent vines on the headboard and footboard.

She rose out of bed and pulled on a see through silk robe that did no good, but it was for show mostly, if you were one of those to go prancing around trying impress people in your nightclothes.

There was a nock at the door and it opened slowly, a woman stepping in. "Mia dear, your up early... how are you feeling?"

"Fine," she said with a little less enthusiasm than she should have for her mother.

"Good..."

A long silence passed between them and Mia sat down on the bed. "Lygo is here to see you... when he heard you were back he..."

"I don't want to talk to him..." Mia said and looked up quickly.

"But, Mia you really should..."

"No!"

"Well, not talking to him isn't going to change anything about what your father and I have decided...."

"Get out." And her mother had learned to leave at that.

Yeth:

Teiron sat down at the edge of the village, it might be best to wait for night for him to venture into the village, he could take J'ra one on one, probably fare good against two or three, but not against a whole village. He stood up and backed into the woods, waiting for nigth to fall.

Emora Deen:

Mia got dressed after the conversation with her mother and she left the house through her window. She didn't want to have anything other conversations with them if a certain some one was in the house. She left through the back gate to the fence that enclosed her small homes back yard.

She was dressed in a simple light blue dress with medium length sleeves that had lace around them in a long cascade. She looked rather nice now that she wasn't in her torn clothing with her dirty hair and face. Her hair was clean and her skin was clean. The only real remnants that could place the fact he had only last night been in any danger were the cut on her neck. She walked the village streets, which was filled with more J'ra than anything else. A few humans here and there and a few elves.

She walked towards the great meadow where most the children and families came to play and she usually came to think. The Ashgrown forest surrounded one side of the meadow, but a small wooden fence bordered the two very different places.

Yeth:

Teiron had waited long enough time, he wanted something to do. Might aswell circle the whole village, it would give him something to do.

Emora Deen:

Now Mia realized just why she had left the village, boredom. There was nothing to do if you had completed all of your training. She was more than half way across the large meadow and seated on a rock in the middle of the calm and shallow part of the river that ran through back part of the meadow, closer the forest. She had her shoes off and her feet were in the cool water. She was watching the sun set behind the trees, the warm rays touching her face.

She wondered where Teiron was... what he was doing... if he was mad. She felt completely safe in her village and now that she knew Teiron was no were near. As she thought all this she sang a soft song filled with pretty notes and she kicked her feet in the water, watching leaves float by.

Yeth:

Teiron froze in midstride when he heard singing. The voice sounded familiar, could it be Mia? He went quietly closer until he got a good look at the singer, there she was sitting in a river bank. He could suprise her now, but there wouldn't be any fun in it. He'd suprise her when she thought she was safe, where he couldn't catch her. She did afteralll kick him into the river, so revenge was only reasonable.

He backed intot he woods and ran to his original position, to wait.

Yeth:

Teiron "infiltrated" the city, there were qutie few people milling around and he he avoided contact. It would be helpless to search for Mia's house in a village of this size, he would be better off looking for her and when he found her, follow her to her home. And for this he needed clothes, the results would be less than desirable if walked around the roads as a wolf.
He raided few empty and not-so empty houses for some clothes which barely fit him and money. The clothes would be good enough to get him into a shop where he could get real clothes. After years this routine seemed to be the best.
After some shopping he had good leather boots, and dark clothes, even if they were a bit one colored, maybe they wouldn't contrast too much with the rest of the population. Afterall, they thought he was a human, you never knew of 'em...

Teiron wandered deeper into the city searching for some lodgings.

Emora Deen:

Was it possible to be this bored? Could it be possible to be so bored you wish you were still running from some one you feared?

Maybe she was going insane but it was true, she actually missed running from Teiron. Yeah, he scared her to practically death, but there was just something alluring about him. Maybe she needed some one to hit her hard on the head to knock the thought out but, she was after all a girl and she had always had a thing for the bad boys...

She planted the palm of her hand right against her forehead. "Wake up," she whispered to herself and shook her head. He wanted to rip her to peaces and she was thinking about him in good ways? She was really going insane... She sneezed... oh great a cold...

Yeth:

Teiron fell on the bed, he wasn't tired, but he'd have get some sleep for tomorrow. He'd start hsi search then.
Did the girl think of him, probably she did, but did she think she'd gotten rid of him. Smiling at this slightly, she probably thought so, but he'd prove her wrong. Give her the scare of her life.

He looked around the room, it wasn't big, but the bed was comfortable and that's allt he needed.
Turning to his other side he tried to get sleep, he'd need to be wide awake tomorrow. Smiling a bit, a big day indeed.

Emora Deen:

Mia fell a sleep with out eating on her bed on the top of the covers. She woke the next morning to find her home empty. It was another beautiful sunny day. She bathed and dressed in a soft yellow dress, braiding her hair loosely so that strands fell around her lovely face.

The door was open; her parents had always been the sorts to leave the door open to allow light to fill the room. She stood in the doorway, waving to people as they passed with warm smile on her face. An old woman stopped at the front gate and Mia stepped off the porch.

"Good morning, Mia!" the old woman said cheerfully and Mia took a basket of milk canisters from her. "How have you been?"

"Fine, Mirtle..." Mia said and smiled as with one arm gave the woman a hug. "How are you grandchildren?"

"Oh, fine, they’re learning the arts well, like there parents!" Mia nodded with a smile and talked a while with the woman before she had to leave. Mia turned and walked back towards the house.

Yeth:

Teiron wandered through the city, wandered as he had wandered past few hours. No sing of Mia. I might take days to find her, no it would take days. he had time, he had all the time in the world.
He walked to the town center, the large market. There was a big crowd of people, he might find her here...

Emora Deen:

Mia left the house to go to the market just to look around and possibly buy something. She was standing at a cart where pretty scarves hung looking at a fine blue and pink one. She paid the woman for the scarf and put it in her basket that hung on her arm.

She stopped at another stand and when she turned bumped into a large figure and her basket fell. "I'm sorry," she said and knelt to pick up her things.

Yeth:

Teiron looked down at Mia, so he had found her. It seemed that she hadn't recognized him yet!

He knelt next to her and said to her: "Hello there"

When she froze he continued in a low, almost whisper: "Did you really think you could run away so easily, even if it was to your village?"

Emora Deen:

Mia swallowed hard and looked up with her miss-matched eyes, placing the last item in her basket. What would happen now? What would he do? Would he attack her in front of all these people?

"Why can't you leave me alone?" she asked as she stood and looked down at him. "You are in a village of more than worthy fighters and you still choose to harass me?"

About that time she had the unlucky fortune that her mother happened by. "Mia!" she called as she reached them. "Mia I didn't see you this morning... Well, who is your friend?" she asked and looked at Teiron with questioning eyes.

"Um... er..." How could she explain him...

(OOC: Took a break from preparing for the hurricane, but now I must go again!)

Yeth:

Teiron jumped in when Mia started hesitating.
"I'm Mias old friend, it was quite lucky to meet her here. Who would you be...", he trailed off.

Emora Deen:

Mia's eyes widened as her mother looked Teiron over as a man would look over an insect he wanted to kill. "I see... well Mia, why don't you invite your... old friend for dinner... I'm sure your father would love to meet him..." She looked like Mia almost exactly… except older. She didn’t have the miss matched eyes either.

Mia went to say something but her mother interrupted again. "And what is your name, sir?"

"Teiron." Mia said and looked at him her eyes narrowing. "I don't think he would enjoy eating dinner with us mother..."

Yeth:

"I would be honored to... meet your family."
Teiron tried to look a bit intimidated by the woman, breaking their illusions would be so much more satisfying.

Emora Deen:

Mia's mouth almost fell open. She wanted to act like a little girl who hadn't gotten her way and stomp on the ground screaming no. Instead she growled under her breath. "Mother... aren't we busy?"

"No." Her mother smiled cunningly. "Is there something wrong with your friend that you don't want your father and I to eat dinner with him? Just how cl-"

"Mother!" Her mother just smiled. "See you tonight... Teiron. Mia, you can give him directions..." And her mother turned to leave.

Mia picked up something off a table and held it like she was going to throw it at the leaving woman, but with a growl she stopped herself and slammed it back on the table.

"I will not show you where my home is!" She glared at him and folded her arms, holding the basket in the middle. "Now run along and find some one else worthy of your annoyance."

Yeth:

Teiron looked silently at Mia, cocking his head to side he asked: "Why won't you give me directions, my dear friend? Don't you... like me? Even after all we have been through."

When Teiron saw that Mia was about to say something he continued quickly:
"Just think of the possibilities, the shock your parents will get... And besides I can always follow you. As you should have allready noticed. You can run, but you can't hide"

The age old saying he said with a sneer, he didn't like being kicked into river... Not at all.

Emora Deen:

Mia glared at him more dangerously. "Your avoiding my question. What? Afraid that I'm the only one that you can beat? If you think I'm that weak then you're... Why am I even explaining anything to you?"

She shook her head and turned away from him, looking at something on a table, trying to ignore the fact Teiron was standing behind her. She looked at something and still couldn't ignore it. Her braid fell from her shoulder and got in her way, she pushed it behind her.

Yeth:

Teiron continued his silent vigil behind her, after few minutes of her trying to ignore him he finally spoke.
"Look who's the confused one now" Stepping closer he continued:

"I didn't choose you, because you were weak, on the contrary you could beat me. You have already shown some promise. "

For some his logic would've seemed warped, but for Teiron it was clear.

"You should be honored, and proud of yourself."

Emora Deen:

"Oh..." she said turning towards him and wished she was tall enough to get right in his face and scream... but sadly she wasn't. "I am really honored and proud of myself that I'm going to die!"

She growled and grabbed his arm. might as well get it over with, Mia thought and looked into his eyes with a sort of strange look in her own. "Come with me..." she said and tried dragging him along.

Yeth:

Teiron didn't even try to resist, she had that look in her eyes. If he had learnt anything in his hundred or so years of life was that never mess with a woman who has that look. And besides, he got what he wanted. It might turn very intresting. And he despised the look her mother gave him, he would never let that pass unpunished. And when you have your revenge, make it ten times as hard. He had lived that way and it worked, those who messed with him, rarely did so twice and never thrice.
Enough of that now, he'd finally learn more her. Somehow she intriguided him, one rarely saw J'ra like her.

Emora Deen:

Mia drug him for a long while... all the way to the end of the meadow where no one could really interfere. She stopped and dropped the basket on the ground before turning to face him.

"Here you go," she said and opened her arms and she stared at him. Maybe she had lost her mind briefly... it was now coming back to her. "Eat me. Go a head and get it over with because you’re really starting to bug me..."

She hesitated slightly, but kept her face cool. When he didn't answer she put her hands on her hips and looked at him in the eyes. "Well? Are you going to take all day or do I have to be prepared like a dish?" And if she was acting like she wasn’t afraid… she was doing a good job… inside she was hitting herself for doing what she was doing.

Yeth:

Teiron stepped closer

"As you wish, m'lady"

He wouldn't eat her, but give her a scare of her life... again. She looked cool and collected, she smellt oh anger, but under all that he knew she was uncertain. She didn't show anything untill his face was allmost touhing hers, then he though that he could see her hand tremble a bit.

He bared his fangs a bit and leaned down. When his teeth touched her skin, the girl had stayed remarkably still, he pushed her hard enough for her to land fhard on the ground.

"I couldn't kill you like this, I want a true fight. Besides, I'm getting hungry, can't we go eat soon? Please?"

Emora Deen:

The air left Mia's lungs when she hit the ground. He didn't know how happy and relieved he had just made her. She stared up at him while she laid on the ground, pushing herself up, sitting on the soft grass and glared at him.

"I don't want you to come to my house... don't you understand the words coming out of my mouth?" Her pretty face shown every bit of defiance that she possessed.

Yeth:

"Oh c'mon, I can allways follow you if I want. I promise I won't hurt your family" Too badly... "And from what I saw you don't seem to like your mother too much, it'll give her a good scare. Who knows, she might learn something!"

He offered her his hand "At least get up, my neck is starting hurt from having to speak down all the time."

Emora Deen:

Mia smiled slightly. "Then you'll just have to join me on the ground..." she said as her hand touched his and she jerked hard, pulling him too to the ground. When he hit beside her she went to stand...

Yeth:

Teiron grasped her ankle and pulled her to ground next to him.

"Haha, nice try but you ain't going anywhere without my"
He smiled a bit and continued
"Besides, I'm really hungry. Haven't had a decent warm meal in ages, can't we just eat?"

Emora Deen:

Mia sat up once again, bracing herself on her elbows and she turned her head towards Teiron in thought, before finally speaking, her miss matched eyes looking his face over. "If you promise not to hurt them..."

She pushed her hair that had come out of the braid off her shoulder and her dress down, which was finding it's way to her knees since she was doing all of that rolling on the ground.

She sat on her side with her legs bent at the knee and her hands holding herself up, waiting for Teiron's answer.

Yeth:

When his stomach growled loudly Teiron made his final decision. He bounced up in a fraction of second and pulled Mia fast enough that she flew into air for couple inches.

"Now let's go eat and scare them! Worry not my darling I won't hurt them at all!"

JHe ushered Mia in front of him to the streets and stopped there, where to now m'lady?

Emora Deen:

If you push me one more time I'm going to punch you..." she said and turned down a street, the basket swinging in her hand. She glanced back at him.

She was hoping that her mother wouldn't invite any more unwanted guests. There would be trouble if she invited one in particular, more so because she probably would ask Teiron to eat him for her.

They finally came to a nice sized home for her family. She opened the gate and closed it fast; hoping Teiron in his large form would trip over it and make a fool of himself. She continued on with her head held high.

Yeth:

Teiron stumbled a bit and ended on the wrong side of the gate. "Why on earth is she annoyed now." Deciding that the shortest course was the fastest he jumped over the wall and landed right behind her with a big thump. Somehow, he was feeling quite energic today.

So any other quests today?

Emora Deen:

Mia ignored the face that he almost landed on her and walked up to the door and opened it. Her mother didn't seem to be home or else she was around back and they were eating out side.

Sadly, her hopes that her mother and father weren't homed were wrong. Her mother poked her head around a corner and smiled. "Well, I was wondering when you'd come home!" she said and smiled fakely towards Teiron. "Mia... go dress for dinner... someone is here to see you."

"I am dressed..." Her mother arched and eye brow. "I am dressed."

"Fine... be inconsiderate..." My clenched her fists be her sides and gritted her teeth.

"Fine!" Mia said finally and stormed off towards a room.

"Would you like to follow her or come out here with us?" her mother asked and again looked at Teiron like he were a cockroach.

Yeth:

"I'll go with her, she seems to be quite agitated of something... Well she has always been an eccentric girl, hasn't she?" He asked her and headed where Mia went.

When he was on the door he knocked on it and spoke through it.

"You know, if you ever want to show that you are something to your mother, you might want to try and be grown-up, with little work you'll be more than her. And then... then she'll feel just as yuo feel now."

After that he headed back to where they were dining, he wouldn't want to give any funny ideas, now would he?

Emora Deen:

Mia looked to the door when she heard the knock. "Wait until you get to know my mother..." she muttered and rummaged through her closet for something more "appropriate" to where. "You’ll think other wise."

When Mia came out she was dressed in a nice violet dress trimmed with cream lacy in some spots. She stepped out on the porch and rolled her eyes when she saw Lygo sitting at the dinner table. Oh, magnificent... she thought and stepped forward walking towards the table.

She looked at Teiron for a moment. "Oh... I'd watch the food, my mother might poison you... not that it's a bad thing..." she smiled.

Yeth:

Teirons face immediatly fell. After podering a while he decided "We'll, I'll try it anyways"

Turning to the other man in the table he addressed him "Hello, my name is Teiron, what would be yours?"

Emora Deen:

The man stood and walked towards Teiron smugly. He took looked at Teiron as if he were an insect. "Lygo..." he said and then he turned to Mia. He took her hand and kissed it. "Mia, you look lovely."

"Yea... don't I know it..." she said and walked away from him to sit at the table.

"Are you a friend of Mia's?" Lygo asked Teiron with a slightly amused smile.

He moved away while it took Teiron the time to think... or it's how Lygo thought of it and he sat down at one end of the table. Mia's mother sat down in front of her and Mia's father came out with a large plate with a large cooked bird on the top.

Yeth:

Trying to smile dumbly he turned his gaze to Lygos and answered.
"Oh yes. We go waaayyy back, I met her first time when she was dancing. you must be quite proud of her, she is one of the most talented persons I've ever seen!"

He turned his attention back to his dinner and started eating. They thought of him as "lowly" human, they thought of him as dumb. Let them, when the truth would come out it would be all the sweeter.

Emora Deen:

Mia's eyes went wide when he said the first time he saw her was when she was dancing. "That's not true!" she said and glared at him.

Mia's mother searched her face for a moment and then she smiled at Teiron. "So have you slept with her yet."

"MOTHER!" Mia went red in the face and eyes were on Teiron and Mia.

"What? It's a simple question dear." Her mother smiled. "Besides, a dancer is nothing more than a whore which makes you nothing more than an ugly whore in a carnival. Flaunting yourself..."

"I do not flaunt..." and Mia was about ready to hit her mother.

Yeth:

"Of course not. Why would I sleep with her? And I don't think dancers are whores, dancing can be really beatiful art, especially the famed skydancers."

Teiron had made up his mind, he didn't like these people. So prejudiced, call me a hippocrite... Well, the dinner was reasonable and he was hungry, might as well go through with this farce.
More to this stupid human theme.

"So I heard that J'ra are great fighters, do you know if there is anyway to learn from them... Could you help me Lygo? I thought of the Samurais too, but I heard they make you fight in the frontlines. You could get killed there!"

He knew he had no chance, and were he a mere human he would be humiliated in a fight... But then again, that was not how things were.

Emora Deen:

Mia looked at Teiron quite shocked that he didn't say anything to embarrass her or to agree with her mother. Mia had lost her appetite to eat... which was a bad thing since she hadn't eaten very much at all since her first meeting with Teiron.

"I'm sorry," Lygo said and smiled at Teiron cunningly. "I don't share my knowledge with humans..."

"Oh..." Mia said and smiled. "Fight him... give me something interesting to watch."

"No thank you..." Lygo said and looked at Mia with a kind sort of smile. "I don't waste energy."

"What if I told you if you don't kill him he'll kill me?" Mia said and looked him dead in the eye... things grew quiet.

Yeth:

Teiron forced himself to fidget nervously.

"That's not true! I'd never hurt her!"

Then he kicked her in her shin, she had ruined it all by telling it so soon.

"She's a J'ra, How could I beat her? Please don't kill me!"

Emora Deen:

Mia rolled her eyes and grabbed the collar of her shirt, pulling it down slightly. "You see this? He did this to me!" she showed the scar where his nail had ripped at her neck.

Lygo smiled and rose from his seat. "Mia, the man is clearly and idiot... even he wouldn't mess with you."

Mia's mouth fell open in shock. "Some betrothed you are... won't even protect your future wife! If any one is the idiot it's you!"

Lygo lost his smiled. "Mia may I speak with you?" he asked and looked towards her parents with a strange expression. "Now."

Mia growled and through her clothe on the table and stormed into the house, Lygo following behind. When they reached the inside she folded her arms. "What?"

Lygo hit her across the face and sent her into the wall. She stayed there for a moment as he spoke. "Don't ever talk to me like that in front of people."

She turned and looked at him for a moment, noticing how dark his eyes were now. It was common knowledge he had some Ishtass in him. "That... is the last time you ever touch me." She went to walk past him and he put a hand on her shoulder to turn her around. She grabbed it and flipped him over, sending him out the door and he landed on the grass. She stepped out of the door, walked on his back and towards the table sitting down again. Lygo was the reason she was so annoyed.

Yeth:

His eyes narrowing the traced the red lines on Mias cheeck, she was his prey, he shouldn't touch her. At least Mia had shown him that.

He took a bite of the food again, looking when Lygo came back in, he was furious. Maybe he could bait him over the edge.

"Mia why is there that red mark on your cheeck. Lygo, why are your clothes dirty? W-What happened? Are you two okay?"

Emora Deen:

Mia narrowed her eyes as she looked at him. She knew he wasn't stupid and she knew he knew what had possibly happened. "The whore through me out of the house!"

"Mia!" her parents yelled.

"He disserved it." was all she said and she looked at her plate, her teeth clenched to the max/ no matter what she said they would take his side. He had money and he was for more "trustworthy" than she. Mia after all was "a dancer, an ugly whore".

"Mia apologies."

"You know what... no..." she said and rose from her seat. "I'm leaving, good bye."

"We'll talk when you get back," her mother said and glared at her.

"It's going to be hard..." Mia said and when she made it half way to the house she said under her breath. "I'm not coming back." she stopped turning to Teiron. "Are you leaving or will you stay to endure more of there torture?"

Yeth:

"Tor.. what torture? Sure I'll come with you, lemm just grab this piece of bread"
He snatched a piece of bread from the table, feeling their despising gaze on his back. Then he scramble after Mia.
"Wait! Where will we go now!? Mia wait!?"

Emora Deen:

"WE are not going any where. I am leaving and you are going where ever else where is!" Mia said and slammed her bed room door.

She turned around after looking at the door for a moment and there in her room stood Lygo. "Do my parents let you do what ever you want?"

"Your parents came inside behind you, I came in through the window.... you should really lock it." Mia pointed to the door.

"Get out."

"I don't think so. As soon as I've taught you a lesson I'll move on to the stupid human." He grabbed her by the arms and through her on the bed. She went to punch him but her grabbed both her hands.

"You forget I don't have locks on my door, remember what happened the last time you tried this?" Mia said and kicked at him.

"I'll make it quick..." he said and she managed to shove him hard with both her feet, sending him hard into her wall. He recovered quickly and came at her again.

Yeth:

Teiron heard the voices through the door, he heard the crash when Lygo hit it. Again that boy was trying to disturb his hunt. I had allready given him a chance, but he wouldn't just learn. Stupid human, he had called hima stupid human! Letting his rage build up.
He heard the sounds of the small battle inside. Mia was holding well, there was no hurry.
Trying to summon their despising gazes he summoned his rage. That boy might be a good fighter against human, but he was nothing compared to him.

He stepped backwards and kicked the door in. When the two combanants gazes fell on him he stepped inside and taunted Lygos.

"Well boy, would you like to teach me, a sutpid human, a lesson?"

He stepped towards him, waiting for his move. He still probably thought of him as bad fighter.

Oh how he enjoyed throwing down the mighty.

Emora Deen:

Mia and Lygo looked at Teiron both had shocked faces, but Mia's relaxed into a glad one. Lygo some how had gotten the upper hand... "Go away human, I'm busy." Mia struggled to get up, but some one had gained a few pounds since the last time. Lygo returned to his work, ignoring Teiron for a moment. Mia wasn't concentrating on him any more and he was aggravated that he no longer scared her even like this.

He growled and stood on the floor letting go of Mia and turning towards Teiron. "Alright... first lesson. Never interfere with my doings..." He stepped towards Teiron and attacked him from the side. “I was trying to teach my betrothed whose boss…”

Yeth:

Teirons smile was pure sarcasm, he'd soon learn who was the boss.
Lygo might have noticed that Teiron wasn't completely human, and things didn't look too well afterall, maybe it was when Teiron eyes flashed golden, he smiled that long fanged grin, sidestepped his attack and punched him in the side hard enough to semd him sprawling against the wall.

Lygo wasn't an inexperienced fighter and he was back on his feet in no time. This time he took a more careful approach and feinted few times.

"Lygo, your tricks are for children. Run now and I'll let you live! You are just a boy, even Mia fought better than you. Run now, while you can, you can't even hope to win."

Teiron taunted, they might do nothing, but they alst might affect him just on the critical moment.

Teiron launched a flurry of attacks on Lygo...

Emora Deen:

"What have you brought?" Lygo asked Mia with out looking at her. "A demon from your damned carnival?" He attack Teiron in a quick manner, hoping speed was Teiron's weakness.

Mia didn't answer; she sat on the bed, pulling her dress back down again very quickly. Idiot... I hope Teiron kills him... she thought glaring at them both. She knew one thing for sure; she liked Teiron a whole lot better than she liked Lygo.

Her cheeks were a little bit flushed at the moment. Once again Teiron had barged in to save her from something. True she was confused... He longed to kill her, rip her to shreds, probably liked the thought of lots of screaming... Mia shuttered at the mental image and grew sick for a moment. Now she was confused on whom she wanted to win the fight... She finally decided, when Lygo through her a look that she could clearly read what it meant. He planned on finishing up with Teiron and moving on to her.

"Teiron... if you kill him I'll fight you..." she said and swallowed hard. She knew she might as well get it over with... either he would fight her or he would finally give up and just kill her. Besides... if Lygo could beat Teiron she'd have no chance.

Yeth:

Teiron managed to shout a joyful "Sure!" to Mia, before Lygos fist found its way to his face. He spun around from the force of the blow and backhanded Lygo.
Now he didn't need to worry of getting Mia to fight willingly, instead of just giving up as she had tried to do. All he needed to do now, was to kill that annoying bastard.

He attacked few times to test Lygo, he wasn't as strong and fast as him, but he had better technique.
Teiron swung a blow to his midsection and followed it with a kick to his knees...

Emora Deen:

Mia got off the bed quickly when she heard her very angry parents coming. She ran to her closet and grabbed a change of clothes a cloak and a bag. Then she stuffed it all in the bag before trying to dodge the fight and head for the window.

Teiron could take care of himself and he had promised to not harm her parents. All she really wanted to do at the moment was get out of the house so she wouldn't have to listen to them.

Yeth:

Teiron circled around to put Lygo between himself and the Mias parents who crashed into the room. Mia had already left, leaving him to deal with Lygo and her parents. Taking a quick survey he decided that he needed to put lygo out ot fast and permanently, so that he wouldn't have to touch Mias parents.

He charged Lygo and after a brief sruggle managed to take a good hold of him. With a great heave he sent lygo flying through the window and jumped after him.

Emora Deen:

Mia tripped going out the window and fell to the ground. Oh, what a wonderful time to lose balance... Mia thought and left her yard. Knowing Teiron and his ability to show up and find her even when she didn't want to be found she could go any where and he would still find her...

So Mia left to go to the meadow to see it one last time before her death. She sat there waiting and also listening for the J'ra guard to try and kill Teiron for harming one of there own... He attacking Lygo meant they were bound to go after him...

Yeth:

The fight with Lygo had been quite suprisinly anti-climatic. When he had hit the ground he had also hit his head to a rock with a loud crack. Teiron had also sliced his neck open, just for the measure. After that he had left the house in search for Mia, he had tracked her near to the meadow when a J'ra guard attacked him. After a brief struggle the guard was left on the road with bite marks on his throat.

The two didn't seem like the fighters which gave the reputation for the whole J'ra race... Now to get that girl

Teiron stopped on the edge of the meadow, looking at Mia...

Emora Deen:

Mia sat down on the grass softly, her back was turned to Teiron and she hadn't even noticed that he had come yet. She figured he would still be fighting off the guards... She sighed, picking a flower and twirling it in her fingers for a moment looking at the pretty pink color.

She sighed again, I do hope he hurries... She pulled the pack around and dug through it, realizing then she hadn't gotten and good shoes, she only had the slipper like ones that were on her feet. Oh well, it wasn't like she'd be living long enough to even care... If he could beat Lygo, then he could kill her easily.

Yeth:

Teiron stopped walking why he was right behind her and heard her sighing.

"Why so sad now Mia? If you die today. You'll die fighting and that is something to be proud of."

Emora Deen:

Mia looked behind her while she still sat on the ground. "Have a seat..." she told him and waited until he had done so and even if he didn't she still continued.

"Do you remember when you were turned to what you are?" Mia asked and let the flower fall to the ground. "I'm sure you were entirely thrilled to have it happen... and... You know what, just forget about it... it's useless."

She stood up and walked towards the fence that surrounded the meadow... "I want to get a ways away before we do this, I don't want my mother to see it." Mia's attitude was one of rather hopelessness, yet a strange strength that seemed to start radiating from her... "And I want to change into some close that I can move in..."

Yeth:

Teiron walked next to her.

"I remember when I was turned, and no I wasn't too happy about it at first. Timeheals wounds and with the help of hate I held for those who betrayed me, I learnt to love this side of me. It gives me freedom and strength, now I am truly independent. I do not need to rely on others and that I am happy of..."

Emora Deen:

Mia smiled at how much a fool he was. "You don't rely on others?" she asked with a strange tone. "You eat people for food, fight them for fun, take their lives even when they might not have done anything to disserve it. You use people constantly and yet you don't think your relying on them?" She laughed for a second. "Indeed you are blind."

"You’re relying on others every day, for food, for fun, for pleasure.... if you use it constantly Teiron... you rely on it."

She turned for a second to look at him. "I think that’s why you want leave me alone, you don't even realize your relying on me for something... but what is it really? For food? For fun? What is it you really want... to tell you the truth I don't think you know."

Yeth:

Teiron twitched a bit, she was getting annoying:
"That is nitpicking and you know it, it is by my choice that I use them for those. And now comes to play what I said, I am strong and I do not need any other justification for my actions. If I wish to kill or fight you then I shall do so and I cannot think of any force in this world which could stop me.
I am getting annoying by your antics, chance your clothes fast so that we can begin, your mother wont folow us this far so you don't need to worry of it."

With this he turned around and started waiting.

Emora Deen:

Mia stormed off towards a large tree to change her clothes, mumbling. "Overcompensating, annoying, egotistic, self-centered, arse hole, jerk. MEN!" She took her clothes off and piled them behind a tree and changed into a pair of white pants and a light blue shirt that was tied at the top. She stepped around the tree and folded her arms.

How did he expect her to beat him if she had nothing silver to kill him with? "Alright..." she said nervously as she took her long white hair in her hand and pulled it up so it wouldn't get in her way.

Yeth:

Teiron rushed her and dealt a heavy blow on her gut, making her drop to her knees and gasp for. He circled behind her, circled his arms around her waist and lifted her to air. Then he threw her against a tree. Just like she had been thrown in their first meeting. He remembered the time they had spent together, even if it had been what it had been he knew her quite well. She had even saved his life, something which others didn't get to do often... maybe killing her wasn't such a good idea. It wouldn't be bad to let her be, grow, be stronger.

His advance slowed down as he thought more and more of things. She had been right, he did rely in a way, to others...

Emora Deen:

Mia closed her eyes gasping for air and clenched her teeth as pain rocked her body. She pushed herself off the ground and she fell back down, dazed, but fighting it. She wouldn't die with out getting one lick in and with this she pushed herself off the ground, blood draining from her lip.

She didn't know why he was slowing down, maybe to prolong her death... to revel in the fact he was defeating a woman. She planted her foot in his stomach and then spun around, the side of her foot hitting his head. She slipped and fell on her back for a moment.

Yeth:

Teiron took the blow and landed to ground. He stood up and slowly walked towards Mias form. Suddenly he was regretting what he just did. Was it truly such a bad thing to let her go? And as he already relied in people one way or another, woul dit be bad to gain a friend... doubtful that she'd ever be.
His thoughts became pouring out confusing him even more, this was why he didn't want to think too much while fighting. He couldn't ocncentrate on anything now. Teiron gave up trying and sat to the floor, trying to make some sense of what he wanted.

Emora Deen:

Mia sat up and looked at him with a confused expression, wiping the corner of her mouth. "What's wrong?" she asked rather hoarsely, having choked on her own bile after almost loosing what little she had eaten when he hit her. Her throat was burning, as was the pain he had already caused her.

"Tired already? Don't tell me... little ole me finally tuckered you out?" she asked not meaning to sound so sarcastic, but if she was going to die, might as well die annoying him.

Yeth:

Teiron sat there silenty thinking, not paying slightest attention to her.

Yes, he could save her, help her. See how it was, he wouldn't lose anything, he couldn't lose anything. But then again, he had lived for a long itme in a certain way and this would break that, what kind of a man was a man who didn't stand behind his decision... What kind of a man was a man who was too stupid to see the error in his ways? But there was a reason why he started living like this, but those times are long gone and she is completely different person.

Argh, so frustrating, just what should he do?

Emora Deen:

"Alright," she said and laid down on the ground. "I'll just lay here and wait for you to kill me." She noticed her hair had fallen out of the lose bun, expected. Her long beautiful white hair was spread out over the ground and she stared at the limbs of the trees.

She felt a little hurt by Teiron, well, yes in the physical way... but also emotionally. She didn't know why... maybe because she was starting to think a little more of him than he obviously thought of her.

Yeth:

"Why... why do you wish to live?" Teiron asked slowly. "What make lie worth living? Do you wish to live?"

If he was going to let er, he might as well try to know few things...

Emora Deen:

Mia's face stared at the limbs for a moment her face relaxing. "Many things," she said quietly. "Many things, I haven't traveled the world... I haven't walked the shores of Ighten... or fallen in love. I haven't..." she paused there and smiled slightly, moving on to the next thing. "I haven't married... and haven't given birth to a child... the greatest moment possibly on earth. Creating something with some one you love.... that belongs to the both of you...." She paused; she thought she probably sounded silly.

"You think I'm silly don't you, you probably don't care about it at all. I haven't experienced these things... so I have life to live for... because I know I will and you will to. If you don't go and commit suicide first... There is some one out there for every one, you just have to find them."

"I want to live so I can experience everything life has to offer," she looked at the leaves blow. "I've only seen 18 years of sun rises and sun sets... and I have so many more to see. I want to live so I can have a child and watch her grow and mature and watch her marry and be happy..." Her eyes watered slightly. "And I don't want to die before then. I'm not afraid of dying... just of how it will come to pass... and when."

Yeth:

He glanced at her, the reasons seemed sound at first, but whne you had more experience...
He continued hesitantly...

"Why live on if you have experienced all this, if you had been left alone and those who you trusted deserted you... Tell me, can you see any reason to live on then, any other reason than just the primal instinct of survival?"

Emora Deen:

Mia lay on the ground for a moment and then she sat up, looking directly into the eyes of the person she had come to know slightly more than even her now dead betrothed. "Look at me," she said and despite the fact she was afraid of him she moved closer on her knees and sat in front of him. "How do I look? How old?"

With out waiting for a reply she sighed, staring at the ground for a moment. "I haven't experienced EVERYthing. If I had I would be old and pruny and lifeless, but I haven't. I haven't married and I haven't had a child and I haven't grown old. And even if none of the things that I wish for come to pass I will still want to live, because living is a gift. I didn't have to live as long as I have, but I have. I could have died in those woods; I could have died in that town. But, something must have given you the foolish idea to help me."

She looked into his eyes. "And I didn't have to help you," her voice was cold because she didn't understand him. She had helped him and he had helped her and to her they were even. "But I did. This may not have anything to do with your question, because frankly I don't know how to answer it."

She brushed a strand of long white hair away from her face as she leaned forward. "When I'm alone, at least I have my health, when I can't trust any one, I'll trust myself, but even that even those things will not give me cause to want to die! And it could be primal instincts or it could be just the fact that maybe I like living. Maybe I like feeling mud between my toes or the sun on my face. Maybe I like the company of a man or playing with a child. Maybe I just like living."

She looked into his eyes, her fear of him fading as she was caught up in the moment, surely the feelings would return as soon as she had made her point, but it was a good thing she didn't realize yet how close she was to his face.

"But, since you're all stuck on judging, if you think I disserve to die because I can't explain the reasons I want to live to you any better," She held her arms out to her sides. "Because all I know is what I feel in my heart and I can't put that in words." She was slowly starting to realize that maybe telling him he could kill her if he didn't like her answers was a bad idea.

"There has to be some humanity left in you... some part of you that knows what I mean... it couldn't all have been driven out..." she said with a slight quiver in her voice.

Yeth:

Teiron breathed in and out slowly. He picked some dirt from the ground and let it run throu his fingers. It was the small things in life which made it worthwhile, the warmth of sun, the refreshing gusts of wind. Each people had their own things, maybe his are hunting, nature.

He looked up at her. He had become soft somehow, he didn't feel the want to kill her. As she said, she had saved him as he had saved her... There was no reason to not let her go. She wasn't really a bad person and wasn't better than him in combat, at least yet.

"I must've gotten soft with age. If you wiswh to leave you can go, if you need help I can try my best... It's not I have anything better to do."

When he stood up and helped her up he winked and smiled with a bit of irony.

"Don't forget, I saved your ass at least three times. So you still owe me two or so rescues."

Emora Deen:

Mia arched an eye brow at him when he helped her up. Was it something she had said that made him understand so quickly? She smiled slightly, still the look of confusion written in her eyes. "I don't really think I want to go home yet..." she said and looked back towards he place where her home was.

"And your right, I do owe you two more saves..." Her smile grew and she pulled her hand away. "If you don't mind if I go with you... where ever you planned on heading after you killed me, maybe at some point I'll be able to pay you back on your trip."

Still the whole thing seemed odd and she wondered if it was a trick. She knew one thing, he packed a punch... her gut was still feeling the effects as was her back. She guessed she would have to wait to see if it was a trick, something in her words must have dramatically changed his mind.

Yeth:

Teiron could see a bit of puzzelement in her eyes, she was atleast a bit confused why so easily?

"Don't worry, it's no trick. Just something I've thinked of before.

I didn't have any definat plans for future. I was just going to travel around the woods, hunt a bit, just be... Did you have anything specific in mind?"

Emora Deen:

Mia thought for a moment and truth be told, she hadn't expected to live past five minutes ago so she didn't really have anything in mind, so she shook her head. "Not really..." she said and thought about it.

She smiled slightly. "I've never been hunting before..." she looked around the woods. "I've been 'hunted,'" she said giving him a glance, meaning by him. "But, never been the hunter."

Yeth:

Teiron returned a crooked smile.

"I'm not sure if you are up to hunting like I do... Of course, you can try if you really really want. If you can do it, maybe you'll understand some of my motives better."

Emora Deen:

Mia arched an eye brow. "No I don't think I can hunt like you..." Mia said and smiled slightly think of how any human or J'ra or anything that resembled something other than a werewolf could hunt like him.

Her beautiful golden face now had a happy look to it, instead of the smiles she had been having lately, which weren't real smiles. But, now it was, mainly because she didn't have the threat of death looming over her head.

She turned to the tree and went and got her bag. Hey... she already had a change of clothes to take with her... she was all set to go where ever it was they'd go. She wondered if they would run into any more hunters or anything like that. It hit her odd that she was going with some one who only seconds ago had decided not to kill her, but what else did she have to do.

She wondered if they would run into any more werewolves... she figured it was a bad idea. She had heard they were real territorial... she wasn't for sure though and they would probably be less likely to change there mind about having her for dinner, which would be a bad thing.

OOC: hehe.... I got bored in class and decided to alter the post for the heck of it....))

Emora Deen:

As they walked through the forest a large black bird came out of no where and knocked Teiron on the ground. Before Mia could do anything about it the thing, which was far larger than anything she had ever seen. It had red glaring eyes and black long wings and covered in glossy black feathers. It came at her quickly and the next thing she knew she was flying through the air with it's talons sticking into her shoulders. It happened so fast she didn't have time to scream until she realized she was in mid air with a large bird carrying her off....
