When Reya was ready for the day, she stepped out into her office and walked to the desk, rifling through papers. "Jhaptal," she said offhandedly as she looked at the list of the incoming students' names and drew out the file containing data on each of their abilities, "You needn't accompany me to the inauguration. Eat, and have our guest moved to Chamber D. After that," she said, setting down the papers and reaching for a large parcel that was sitting under the desk, "spend some quality time with these." She gave a slight proud grin as she handed him the box which contained a pair of heavy steel armblades, as similar to Soran's as her own understanding of the weapon in combination with the blacksmith's common sense could reproduce. The blades were slightly wider and lacked some of the more refined features of Soran's old blades, but both they and the bracers attached to them would not break easily, and were carefully balanced. Moving her attention back to her desk, Reya continued to prepare for the ceremony, not interested in breakfast, while the students trickled inside downstairs. Most of the students had already arrived, perhaps one hundred fifty in all, and were gathering at the direction of their reception officer in a large hall downstairs.
Jhaptal nodded, acknowledging the orders he was given. When she took out the box that contained the armblades, the ninja had an idea what they were, and hid a growing smile. When the armblades were finally revealed, he, in fact, did smile, though it wasn't too big of win. However, seeing as he rarely showed facial expressions in this first place, this was a large show of emotion for him. "Thank you Lady Reya," he said, and took the armblades. After disappearing into one of his secret passage ways, Jhaptal left the package in there as he stepped into the mess hall for a quick breakfast.

Siren looked with her keen eyes at the various groups of travelers that wound along the steep and rocky trail. Her eyes settled on one group of three men that were perhaps in their twenties, riding on the driver's perch of a covered wagon. "There," she thought with a grin.
She gestured for Mizuki and Rai to wait, and flew out to the wagon, landing with sultry grace upon the back of one of their steeds and facing them with a disarming smile. "How are you boys doing?" she asked innocently, leaning towards them so that just the right amount of skin was exposed and smiling.
The men looked at one another and then at the strange and beautiful woman that had appeared before them.
"Can we help you, milady?" one dared to ask, a hint of lust in his voice.
Siren pretended to glance around shyly. "Not out here, but...maybe in there," she suggested shyly, gesturing toward the wagon's interior.
All three men blushed. "Which of us?" one dared to ask, lust slowly overriding shock in his voice.
"Well...couldn't we...altogether,...?" Siren suggested with an irresistable flush rising to her cheeks.
The men glanced at each other. "This way, milady," one said, and they drew the cart off to the side of the path before moving back into the wagon.
Siren smiled and followed them in. Five minutes later, she exited the cart and took up the reigns, steering it off the path to where the others were waiting. "There's some dead weight in the back," she informed them with a grin, gesturing toward the three men she'd incapacitated with a potion and taken the liberty of removing their students' robes. "Help me move them off behind those rocks," she said to Mizuki, grabbing the arms on one of the men.

Mizuki quirked a brow at her winged friend, trying to figure out her meaning. She headed back to Rai and the wagon with Siren and they began to disguise themselves. Mizuki wondered about the horses, and if they should leave them behind. She also wondered again about Soran but tried to clear her head for their misson.

"You guys can change on the way," Siren announced, fluttering back into the driver's bench and turning the horses toward the path again. She looked back at the horses they'd brought thoughtfully. They had little choice but to leave them; bringing them in would seem to conspicuous. Hopefully they could retrieve Soran and return before any real harm came to them. It wasn't long at all before they reached the gate of the compound, filing along behind a few other groups of latecoming students.
Mizuki's guard heightened as she arragned the robes around herself. Since they were men's robes they were kinda big on her and Rai, being a child. But Mizuki managed to adjust them to fit well enough and serve their purposes. She tried to arrange on both Rai and her person to hide weapons. Bow and arrows would be difficult to hide within their robes so Mizuki opted their their daggers and a short sword.
Mizuki watched from within the carriage as they went along the path behind other traveling students. They ascended up the mountain and towards the fortress. The closer they got, the more Mizuki felt Soran's thoughts.

Jhaptal finished his meal, then grabbed a few strong looking servants that were nearby. Quickly he led them towards the dungeons. Of course, he didn't need to hurry, but the ninja wanted to try out his new weapons. When they reached the dungeon, he had the servants move the elf to the correct chamber, Soran only putting up token resistence with his weakened body. After making sure Soran was secure there, Jhaptal locked the door and dismissed the servants, then went off to recover the pair of armblades that were recently made for him.

Soran looked up at the servants who entered his dungeon, his head clearing somewhat as the unclipped his weight from a hook on the ceiling. He landed on his feet, but tottered to his knees a moment later. It hurt to let his arms fall in front of him after hanging so long. The servants took him under the arms and half-dragged him outside of the cell and down a hallway, then into another room. This room was much larger, and was lined with several cells around its circular edge. Soran was brought into one of them and hoisted back up to hang from the ceiling, though he had enough height to stand this time. Magical blue bars appeared around the enclosure when the servants left instead of the steel ones he was used to in the other cell. Soran shook his head dizzily, trying to figure out why he'd been moved. Something was going to happen; he knew it. This didn't look like a torture chamber... He ground his teeth as the circulation began returning to his hands, biting back a groan.

Siren led the wagon until it came their turn to present themselves at the gates of the compound. A guide stepped up to them. "Students can enter through here and register. Cheuffers and servants bring their carts and baggage to the back," he said, looking pointedly at Siren. The angel twitched an eyebrow, balking at being taken for a servant, but she decided not to risk it. Walking in the front door may be too conspicuous for her anyway. "Understood. Masters," she said, beckoning to Mizuki and Rai to get out of the cart. She gave them a wink that said "I'll meet up with you later."
