Lore:(Mature)To fetch some clothes...

This is the forest that covers most of Ighten in dense and thick trees. It is the oldest forest in Heirot, since most of the Forests in Arken have been destroyed. It is well known as a haunted forest where ghosts and demons reside. In the forest are many villages. The villagers will tell you tales of trees that eat people, gaint spiders, and dragon lairs.

Tenele walked towards a man who was signing them in. She smiled at him and looked around for a moment. "Hello," she said and flashed her green eyes at him. "I was wondering if I had to sell my slave in an full auction or if I could try to sell him in a private auction?"

"The private auctions are performed at the end, after all our major dealers and wholesalers have completed their trades," the man said, pushing up his spectacles to examine her. "Is this your merchandise?" he said, looking at the two men behind her.

"Just that one," she said, pointing to Vladimir. "I'll sell him in a private auction. I would like to sell him to the brothel in town... Can you direct me to where I can speak with it's owner?"

"Oh, Mr. Larz never comes to the auctions. Actually, not to many people get to see him at all. He has a manager here. A Mr. Nelson." The man pointed in the direction of a rather thin and pasty man sitting at a booth with two others.

"Thank you," she said and walked towards a few empty chairs seated beside the booth. When the private auction accured she would approach Mr. Nelson.

Tenele glanced at him for a moment and then towards the stage bellow... How cruely, to force someone to undress in public. Tenele glanced at Vlad for a moment, then back on the stage. She wouldn't put him through that emberassment.

Vlad tolerated the receptionist as he took out a small orange ribbon and pinned it onto his tunic to indicate his status as merchandise, then followed Tenele to her seat. The minutes passed tensely in silence as those around them joined in the auction, and finally it was announced that private auctions would begin. What they called private was not necessarily private, but rather that the major buyers set up in various corners of the tent to consider individual candidates, who stood in lines to be evaluated. It was announced that Mr. Nelson would be stations in the Southeast corner of the tent. In a bustle of motion, about half the people in the tent left to collect their purchases outside or to return another day, while the rest chose a line.

Tenele really didn't want to stand in line. But, it seemed that she had to if she wanted to see Mr. Nelson.

Finally, after what seemed like forever she was next. She glanced up at Mr. Nelson, who caught her eye and seemed rather startled at first. That happened sometimes, after all Tenle was a very beautiful woman.

"Mr. Nelson," she said, reaching out to shake his hand. He took her hand and kissed it.

"And you are?"

"A woman in need of assisstance," she said.

"Well, maybe I can help?" he asked.

"I think you can," she told him and turned to introduce Vladimir.

"This is a slave a recently purchased," she explained. "But, I'm afraid he isn't well trained... I willing to make a perposal. If you take him into your brothel and customers he recieves you can keep what he makes. In return I get a well trained slave."

"You're saying you wish to offer us this man for free, to be returned to you in a set amount of time?" Nelson said, glancing at Vlad. The vampire cast him a belligerent glare. "I'll admit there's a niche for that type of slave here, and our former servicer of 'those' clients is currently unavailable due to...temporary disability," he said with a vague smile, "but we aren't in the habit of taking on temps."

She flashed her green eyes at him. "Please," she said, trying not to get to the point where she had to make some sort of offer. "Well, maybe I could pay you something as collateral?" She thought for a moment. "Something... that would cover the cost encase he didn't bring any money?"

"Which," she said softly. "I garentee he would bring in the money." She grinned and gave him a playful wink.

The man looked over at Vlad speculatively. "You must understand, young lady, when one tries to sell a slave fully clothed, it gives the impression she is covering something unappealing."

Vlad grinned at this cue, trying to keep the amusement off his face and maintain the demeanor of a moody rebel, but failing. He shrugged, and lifted his tunic over his head, then unfastened his belt and removed his pants, standing before the trader in just his underwear. The man's eyes widened slightly and he stepped closer to Vlad, pressing the muscles in his arms, chest and legs testingly and then studying his face. At the opportune moment, Vlad revealed his fangs and caused the man to flinch back. A moment later, though, he suddenly cast Tenele an eager smile.

"We don't see a specimen like this every day. You should have spoken of his race sooner." He almost continued to comment that Vlad was perfectly built, to boot, but sensed this woman had no idea what she was selling and feared she wouldn't part with him if she understood. "You're sure you won't part with him permanently? We can gladly provide you with another slave that will present no such problems for you."

Tenele's eyes flashed over Vlad's half-naked form for a moment. "No, its only temperary..." she said and glanced back at Mr. Nelson. "Even though he is hardheaded," she said and locked eyes with Vlad. "and careless... not to mention he doesn't listen..." She glanced back at Mr. Nelson. "Well, he strikes a certain passion in me." She gave him a beautiful grin and then folded her arms across her chest.

"I think he would bring money to the brothel, and in return I would get a more... educated... slave back. What do you think? I can still give you an object or amount of money as collateral if you don't think so."

Tenele smiled. "That's all I need," she said softly, glancing back at Vlad. "I'll be around to check on his progress. A week I believe is all he'll need."

Tenele walked towards Vlad, wishing she could wish him luck in some way. She wanted to tell him to not do something fullish.

"Be good," was all she could tell him. "Come on." She glanced at Carckers. "We have business elsewhere. She glanced once last time at Vlad before exiting the arena. Tomorrow was too far away.

Vlad cast an indifferent frown after her as she left, then turned it into a challenge as she looked back at Nelson. Even if he was captive, if the need came for it, he has more than enough powers to teleport himself out of danger or worse. Nelson smiled thoughtfully at him, unresponsive to his expression. "Men, get him a collar type C." Vlad looked shaprly to the side as two men approached him with a hardened leather collar that didn't seem particularly daunting. After putting up the necessary struggle to maintain the character he'd been assigned, he let them click it into place on his neck, bound by a metal clamp that locked it shut. Vlad swalled experimentally, not fond of the tension around his throat, but he turned his attention toward Nelson's men as they gave him a small shove toward the side door of the tent and led him out across the road into one of the largest hotels on the street, a large establishment that read "Nelson's" across the front. Vlad was shown to a room that was dark, which didn't bother the vampire, and had a large firm bed and the necessary toiletries. Vlad considered playing a prank on his uprighteous guards, but ignored them as they announced that he was to clean himself up and do as he pleased until he was called.

Crackers stayed silent until he was outside again with Emora, then turned to her with a demanding glare. "All right, would you mind telling me just what's going on here?" he said, too loudly.

Tenele looked at him. "I'll tell you enough once we reach an inn..." she looked at him and mounted her horse.

After dropping the horses off at a stable and making there way to an inn Tenele paid for a room that she and Crackers could share.

She led him upstairs and opened up the door to allow themselves in. As soon as they were in she closed it behind them.

"Now on the condition you behave yourself, don't try and attack me while I'm sleeping... and don't let any imformation slip out into enemy hands, I'll tell you what is going on."

He nodded.

"I'm a Queen's Maiden sent by Queen Sinead along with Sir Vladimir to infiltrate the male brothel here in the hopes of finding the so called owner, who has been smuggling spies into Ighten," she said, setting her bag down near one of the single beds.

Crackers stared at TEnele as if she was juggling salmon. It took a long moment for the story to settle in. "I'm not a psychotic criminal, you know. I live my lifestyle by necessity, not choice," he said, remembering suddenly to be offended at Tenele's suspicion of being attacked.

Tenele folded her arms and tilted her head. "Excuse me for being a bit paraniod. You are the one who shoved me into a tree and tried to beat me up. Wouldn't take food... or money... Just what were you after by necessity?" she asked, waiting on a responce.
