If anyone can explain to me how the heck pouncing on your boyfriend is a bad thing to do out in public please tell me now. Cause My neighbor yelled at us after I jumped on him (o.O?) and forced us inside my house. It didn't bother me until we got into my house and I was like...wtf? My normally nice neighbors just yelled at me for pounce hugging my boyfriend...
I get that all the time, too! One time, Daniel was really, really sad about something. (Hard past) Well, we were in a parking lot, and I was comforting him. Hugging him. Next day, my mom gets a phone call from someone that knew me and told my mom that I was "hanging all over him" in a public parking lot. So, of course, I got in trouble, and my mom didn't beleive me when I told her the whole story.
Another time, I was feeling sick. I had a migrane. We were at school, and I leaned my head on his shoulder. Well, some ignorant students walked by and yelled "GET A GODDAMN ROOM!!!" Later, my teacher gave me a talking to, telling me how wrong PDA was, and I lost my temper and told her, "I had a migrane. Is that a fucking crime?!"
So... yeah. I've been there, too. Don't know what everyone's problem is, though. >.>
WTF!?!?! It's just HUGGING though!!! -_- -is peeved- raaarrr. My neighbor yelled that what I did was inappropriate for kids and I was liiiike "Um, lets get in my house before he starts barrading us more..and possibly comes over." Then once I opened the door he yells "thank you!" It bothered me though because all I did was jump into his arms and hug him.
APPARENTLY hugging in public is a crime. Why don't we start giving out tickets then to the ones who kiss/make out in public. grrr..
btw, PDA is not wrong as long as it's not ridiculous. I mean, light kisses and hugs shouldn't be frowned upon..jeeezzzeee
Yeah, your neighbor was wrong to step into your business, and more wrong to do it in a way that's embarrassing to you. Some people are tactless and don't understand how to respect others. And some people are incapable of self restraint when they see something they don't like. There are people like that in the world, but they're just one type of person, so I wouldn't let the situation linger in your mind for too long. He was the one being rude.
thank you! I've been repeating that to myself in my head. thankfully, finals and last minute school stuff has occupied my brain but it still annoys me!
but -sigh- At least I've got backup to confirm that what the guy did was wrong.
