Emora Deen:
Tenele had come home from showing Gwyndolynne to her room. She opened her door to her quiet house and walked to the couch plopping down on it. She sat up after a while, crossing her legs underneath her and looked at the Katana for a moment. It really was a very beautiful weapon, maybe the best she had seen yet.
There came a knock at her door and she rose from her seat and walked to the wooden carved thick door. She opened it and there was a messenger standing in the doorway. He handed her a card, which could only be the invitation to the feast. She took it with a smile and when he turned to leave she closed the door. She walked to a table where she kept a letter opener and opened it. It was indeed an invitation.
She smiled for a moment and began to walk up the steps. She opened the door to her room and placed the letter on a table and walked towards her closet. She opened it and pulled a bag off the shelf. She walked to her wardrobe and began to fill the bag with clothing. Two pairs of clothes and she would put some food in it later. For now she threw the bag into the corner.
She then opened the top of her wardrobe where most of her finer clothes were. There were many dresses, some she hadn’t even used yet. She pulled one out still on the hanger and held it up for a moment, looking in the mirror. She smiled and then placed it back inside. She always liked feasts and balls; it gave her a chance to dress up.
Yeth:
Teiron had been stumbling through the streets for sometime now. In the battle with the cursed vampire he had been wounded very badly and lost a lot of blood. After the adrenaline had wore off and he had changed back to human the effect of the fight fully kicked.
Everything he saw seemed surreal and his vision. He was tired, he was hungry, he was cold and almost passing out. The few people he saw ran away screaming, maybe because he was covered in his and the vampires blood, or maybe because he was stark naked.
I can't keep walking long, I'll have to find something to eat and somewhere to rest
He chose a big, empty looking house behind a wall. It looked like upper-class house, so it should have all he needed.
Fumbling sometime with the doorhandle in the darkness. After he managed to open the door he closed the door and sneaked farther inside. Teiron Froze when he saw light behind from a doorway. Inching his way next to the doorway he stopped and listened... He could hear someone walking inside.
Crouching down he moved a bit forward and turned to face the room, he could see a women looking something long in her hands.
I hope it's not a sword, it might make things a bit difficult if she can fight...
He crouched a bit more and lunged at her...
Emora Deen:
Tenele screamed more out of shock when a NAKED man lunged at her. She dove to the side in an attempt for him to miss her. She landed on the ground and stood up quickly, pulling the Katana out of the sheath. Many thoughts entered her mind as to what I naked man would jump at her for and she liked none of them. He seemed hurt to… either this was a very bad way of asking for help or he was very much insane.
She held the sword up and though he was attacking her he was still naked and she still was looking at him… ((his face!!!))… but the thought of a naked man lying on the floor still made her blush. She quickly put the sword to his throat and held it where it poked him slightly. “Isn’t it a bit stupid for a pervert like yourself to sneak up on a Queen’s Maiden?” she asked and pushed the blade even closer to his neck. “Up…” She continued to stay focused on his face or eyes, no where else did she wish to look. She reached a hand over and grabbed onto a drape and snatched it down. “Put that around your waist…” She threw it to him and put both hands on her Katana again, ready to cut him in two if need be.
Yeth:
Teiron was confused, sure the women, Queens Maiden nonetheless... boys was he lucky tonight, first the vampire and now this... The most confusing things was that she, while holding him at a swords point, she didn't attack him. Instead she threw him a curtain to cover himself.
Suddenly his eyes focused on the sword in her hands, a katana, samekind of sword that cursed bloodsucker had... They probably knew each others, afterall those things weren't very common elsewhere than Ongoreth that is.
His anger flared again when he started to think of the fight earlier, he'd make her pay instead of the vampire.
Slowly he started circling her, readying himself for an attack.
Emora Deen:
Tenele all of the sudden could feel anger radiating from him. What had she done to make him so mad, it's not like she had given him the plague by handing him something to cover himself up with. She had a feeling he wasn't an ordinary man either and she followed him in a tight circle as he circled her. "I suggest you leave, sir..." she said and gave a deadly glare. She had a very bad feeling about this.
She looked to the doors that she could run to just incase he was something other than human...
"I said leave," she glanced around again, her eyes skimming to the crack in the floor that Vlad had caused while playing a trick and then to the door in front of it. "Did you hear me I said leave!" She held the sword up, ready to fight.
Yeth:
Feinting left and right Teiron started intricate dance around the women. When he finally tried to hit her shoulder with she parried with her katana. Her move however moved the katana far enough to side so that Teiron could slink right next to her and shoved her sternum hard enough to send her flying a bit to the corner of the room.
Quickly he positioned himself between the door and the women and went after her.
Emora Deen:
Tenele went flying for a moment and on impact lost the sword, which went sliding across the floor. God, am I a beacon for psychoes? Can't they leave me be for one day!!! Tenele looked up and at the hurt, still naked man. What is his problem? What does he want? What did I do?! Tenele got up and waited for him to come after her again. When he was close enough she kicked him between the legs, and punched him in the neck, then spun around when he came down a little and hit him "accidentally" on a wound that he had. She stepped back quickly, turning to get the sword.
Yeth:
Teiron said nothing when he dropped to his knees, holding himself there, not even the burning pain in his wounds where she hit her made him say anything. Still he continued his silence when he fell forwards and hit his forehead to the ground. That kick had been hard, way too hard...
He did manage to say one thing before the darkness claimed his vision.
Voice barely above whisper he voiced his thoughts, suprisingly similar to the womans.
"Why me?"
Emora Deen:
Tenele looked down at the naked man lying on her floor passed out. She walked to the curtain she had pulled down and through it over his body. "Well, this tops the strange that's been happening around here..." She looked around, going around the room, pulling the rope that tied back the curtain down and walking to him. She tied his hands together. That would do until she found something better... For not it was time to try and wake him up. She wanted to know if he was working for him... and why he was naked.
She walked to the kitchen and brought back a pitcher after a few moments. It was cold water, real cold water since it had been sitting in a dark room for some time. She stood over him and pored it right over his head to wake him up.
Yeth:
Teiron groaned a bit and tried to move away from the water.
"Stop it, I'm awake!"
when he moved a bit to face the woman he noticed that his hands were bind together with somekind of rope. Straining a bit against the bonds he noticed that he couldn't break them, not this weak.
"Who are you? Why did you come here? What do you want?" She asked with a dangerous glint in her eyes.
Little truth mixed in with lies makes harder to detect the thing which you want veil
"My name is Teiron, I am a mercenary and I was doing my job when this vampire attacked me... As you can see, I didn't fare too well in the fight and I was searching for a place to rest, clothes to wear and something to eat."
Emora Deen:
"So you thought to attack the person who would give you these things?" she asked and arched an eye brow. "Man, you really aren't that bright..." She rose up above him looked at him. "I can heal you..." she said and looked at his wounds. "But, I can't risk you trying anything as soon as you are well again..."
She knelt down next to him and remembered that healing him would make her weak for a few minutes. "If I heal you..." she thought it would be better not to tell him that it would make her weak, though he would probably be able to tell. "Never mind... If I heal you will you try and attack me again?” She pushed her silver hair behind her ear and held her hands up. If she healed him he would be stronger. Why did she have to be so nice!
Zenmusha:
Vlad was bored... Nothing to do until the ball. Taking a stroll around the city was a nice choice, but still boring. For him, it was just a matter of a few hours, sure, but time still seemed slow when one's bored. After all, one so old must know to have fun... When one's alone. He had become quite accostumed to the idea of loneliness. In fact, and weighting the pros and cons, he had found it was downright good to be a phantom of the night. Though there was a certain someone that might just make him change his opinion... Tenele Raider.
Yes, it was rare to find women like her. A child, true, but still, brave and with great potential. And she had started to understand the glories of unlife. She'd be a great No Life King, if he could turn her and make the experiments on her... Yes, he remembered every single process, every relevant torture. It had been inscribed into his memories a few decades ago. He still cursed his... mentors. They had sealed of many of his more powerful abilities... He was weak, in comparison to what he could've been.
Cursing silently, he found himself at Tenele's doorstep. "Why, my feet, you want to tease Maiden Girl too? Hehehehehehe...." He teleported inside. There, he felt a strange scent of wet dog... The werewolf! He didn't hear any cries for mercy from any of the parts. Not caring what the situation was, he trailed the werewolf... And found him tied up. He clapped. "Very well, Maiden Girl! You caught my prey, have you?" He walked further into the room, stopping a few steps away from Teiron. "Now, to finish the job..." He waved his hand, and the ropes started squeezing him. Vlad smiled sadistically as he screamed in agony.
Emora Deen:
"Vlad!" Tenele said loudly and pulled her dagger, cutting the ropes before the killed the man. "Your the vampire who did this to him?" She held the dagger and the katana. "I think he's done playing..." She looked him in the eyes. She was so confused by the whole situation.
Tenele put Tenchuu away and then the dagger. "What are you doing here any way? Why should I even ask that question..." She smiled. "You come any time you wanted."
She looked down at the man lying on the floor, covered by the curtain. "Vlad, why were you preying upon him? He looks half dead! I'm going to heal him and if he tries anything you can kill him."
She knelt again and placed her hands on his head and chest. Her fingertips glowed silver and from under her hand a light came. Slowly his wounds healed. He should be feeling just a tingling sort of numbness around the wounds. When she had finished she slumped slightly, pulling her hands into her lap and sitting back on her heals.
"There."
Zenmusha:
Vlad growled as Tenele cut the ropes. "Consider yourself lucky, Tenele Raider. If we didn't share a bond of friendship, I'd have your life for taking my prey away from me." He watched silently as Tenele healed the man's wounds... Now there's a skill he didn't expect... He stood ready to charge at Teiron in case he did something smart. "I hope you are aware that you just healed a werewolf and a head hunter, Tenele Raider..."
Emora Deen:
Tenele looked up for a moment through rather tired eyes, her strength would return soon. He'd kill me over something so small... if he did not consider me a friend? In a way that rather scared her, because if something as small as that could make him want to kill her then almost anything could make him not want to be her friend... and once that was established then... "I'm sorry," she said and pushed herself to her feet. "But, he is still a living person..." She looked him in the eyes for a moment and then looked down at the strengthened man... werewolf.... "I'll see if I can find you something to wear..." She then walked to the door and opened it. She didn't know what he could wear, three women had lived in this house and there weren't any male clothes... She turned to look back at Vladimir before stepping through the door way.
Yeth:
Teiron eyed the vampire varily, he was a bit wildcard and he wasn't sure what the vampire would do. The girl wouldn't probably hurt him, he had just stopped the vampire from doing that.
Scrambling on his feet Teiron strecthed his arms a bit. The wounds felt numb, but he also felt much stronger.
Again turning his gaze to vampire, who looked just a bit irked, probably because the girl had stopped him from kiling Teiron.
Flashing a Vladimir a long toothed grin Teiron stated the obvious: "I guess you didn't get to kill me."
Snorting a bit Vlad answered: "don't feel lucky dog, one day I'll get you"
Lapsing again into silence Teiron thought of his options, he couldn't kill the girl with the vampire here, nor without the vampire... She had after all healed him and there was no point in angering the queen.
He might be able to run away, but he didn't know how the other would react..
What to do now?
Zenmusha:
Vlad sighed in disgust. "I guess you've learnt your lesson, werewolf. Leave this place at once, and I just might spare you for the moment. Of course, your free pass' validation only lasts 'till next morning, so think twice before shacking around here for the night." His face twisted to a sick smile. "And if I catch you headhunting again, I'll rip out your lungs and feed the to my Hellhound."
With that said, he walked to Tenele. He was still a bit angry at her... Actually, if he didn't respect her just a little less he'd kill them both without batting an eye. When he came close to her, he grabbed her by the collars, and shouted at her as he dragged her face closer to his. "So what if he was suffering!! Is a man that kills innocent people for fun and profit, just because someone decides he's become inconvenient, a man or a dog!? You think he doesn't kill people the same way!? Well, you're right, HE'S F******* WORSE!!!! Fighting's just a way to kill your opponents, and that's nothing anyone, me, you. angel, demon or dragon, can change!" He let go of her. Somehow he started to think he might be going a bit too far. "And that's just how "perfect" we are, Tenele...."
Emora Deen:
Tenele didn't know what was happening when he grabbed her up be her shirt. She looked at him utterly terrified as he yelled at her; she had gone pale at the very start of it all. When he let go over her she backed up against the wall, afraid he'd try and kill her or what ever it was demons and people like him did to others when they got angry.
"I never said you were perfect," she said in a breathless whisper, looking at him through scared green eyes. "And I never thought you were perfect." She moved along the wall until she was out of his reaching distance and walked down the hall quickly. She felt scared and hurt… She hated having feelings some time…<br>
She left her house for a short time going to the neighbors and asking for a pair of clothes to give to a friend who had been mugged. They just so had a son who was about his size and in the army so she brought them back to her house and opened the door to go inside. She clutched the clothes with rather shaky hands, still a little unerved as she walked back towards where she had last seen the man...
Yeth:
Teiron snatched the clothes from the womans shaking hands. Walking through the doorway he stopped, turned a bit to face the woman.
"I kill for fun and profit, but I do not need anyones justification for my actions, I kill those just the way they kill those who they consider others lower than them. The only reason why you will live through this night is because that vampire is here and you healed me. If we will meet again your luck shall not last"
walking few steps forwards he hesitated and paused again. turning his head he flashed another sharp toothed smile.
"Don't worry, I'm sure your loverboy isn't too angry with you"
Quickly walking away before they could say anything. After outside he went to nearby alley to change clothes.
Zenmusha:
Vlad sneaked from behind Tenele, who had been monologuing with the werewolf. "His words only confirm what I said, Tenele Raider. He'd kill you without hesitation if I hadn't soften him up earlier.... hehehehe..." She didn't seem to like the joke. "I won't ask you to forgive me, as lectures are meant for you to learn, regardless of how angry you may get. And as for shape the lecture took, the worse the action, the worse the aftereffects. Did you at any moment considered that a naked man assaulting an armed woman might be more than just an ordinary man? He's a headhunter. Here, the practice is forbidden, but did you bother arresting him? Nooo. Maiden Girl, pity's only purpose is to prevent us from doing something unfair, like killing a defenceless innocent. Like fear, it comes at the worse times possible, and believe me, when I was human I often regreted letting my foes live out of pity." He mentally shook his head. He didn't like his past... It sucked.
Smiling as kindly as he could, though his smile would forever be tainted with sarcasm, he shown her a plate with sliced pieces of peach, apple and orange, and a silver fork. "Sweet things make you happy, my foster father used to say that when he gave me some chocolate after lecturing me to the tears."
Emora Deen:
Tenele watched wolf leave and as he said to her that he would kill her she thought in her head, Not if I kill you first... Then Vladimir had come to lecture her again, but it wasn't that bad of a lecture, he didn't scare her half to death this time... though she was still a little scared of him. In a way she had been scared of him from the moment she had met him, but now it was amplified by a little. "Thank you," she said quietly and took the plate, feeling a little uncomfortable.
The training room was filled with the glow of candles that were scattered across the room. There were no seats in the room so she sat down on the marble floor, the curtain she had pulled off the wall a little ways away. She put the fork to a peach and pierced it then lifted it to her lips.
“Why don’t you go after him? If I made a mistake, which I knew from the moment of helping him it was a mistake, then go after him.” She looked up and a soft smile came to her lips. “He called you my lover boy.” That she found rather funny.
Zenmusha:
Vlad trailed after her into the training room. "Well, I hardly think he's gonna try headhunting again in Ighten. At least I'll be around to kill him if he does. And besides..." He sat down close to her. "... There are better things to do. Hehehehe... Have you noticed how many people mistake us for lovers, Maiden Girl?"
He looked at her straight in the eye, revelling on her discomfort. "That reminds me. I'm sure you heard that our oh so beloved Queen Sinead has decided to throw in a paahtay for that little traitor Kitanai and his goons. So, I was wondering, miss Tenele Raider, would you like to be my company for that lovely evening?
Emroa Deen:
Yes, she had noticed how many people thought them to be lovers. Well, he had spent a number of nights in her home, or come to her home in the middle of the night... But, it was absurd, they hadn't even kissed and they didn't act like they were... Some people just used their brains too much. Though, the idea of it was rather enticing. "Yes, I'd love to," she said and smiled, holding back a giggle. She felt slightly like a teenager being asked out by a crush... She bit her bottom lips; feeling embarrassed for a moment and then she just ignored her embarrassment and took another bite of what he had given her.
Zenmusha:
Vlad laughed silently. "Is this embarrassment I read in your green eyes, Maiden Girl? No need for it. It's one of the feelings that make you stagnate if felt too often, like fear. It's fun..." He waved his hand, and the candles flew from their place, and formed a circle around them as he waved his hands in exotic ways.
"... how mortals depend so much on emotions. Their greatest strength and their greatest weakness. And how you shun others when they don't... feel like you do about a certain subject. Not that I'm lecturing you again. Just having another of our midnight chats." He said that as he faced her. "What do you think, Tenele Raider? When understanding that some feelings are the cause of maladies in the world, is it not best to reject the ones that may cause damage to what surrounds you?"
Emora Deen:
Tenele looked in his eyes and tilted her head slightly. "Some times it's hard to ignore feelings..." she said softly. She smiled though, "Sometimes embracement can be a good thing." Though from the top of her head she couldn't think of an example. "Fear is a good thing, to over come it makes you stronger... You don't fear anything do you?" He couldn't... he had nothing to fear, not death, not sickness...
"Well..." she said and looked around them at the candles. "What would you like to do tonight... I'm not tired, I think a naked man lunging at you will do that..." She grinned, looking back into his eyes.
Zenmusha:
Vlad thought for a moment... "I do fear death, Tenele. Even if I'm technically immortal. and far more resistant than many of my kinsmen, death may come by my decapitation or if a wound that can't be healed by my own hand is struck. And the reason I fear death is that the smartass creature that created Hell decided it was fun to send all night creatures walking this earth to his little shack... And I might not be forgiven for my deeds."
He faced her eyes and her grin. "Well I guess it does... Personally I've never had a naked man attacking me. Though I did have to spank a few gay courtsmen when I was little because they thought I was an easy price... Ha, when I grew up, I had them sliced into little pieces and thrown to my dogs." He laughed in his usual maniac way before regaining his composure. "Sorry, habits die hard. But one day you'll have to see my castle, Tenele Raider. At least what used to be my castle. For some reason, since it was so close to the border, I think it was turned into a mere fortress."
He grithed his teeth. "Traitorous bastards... I give them my life, blood, sweat, tears and soul, and that's how they repay me... Stupid backwater peasants...."
Emora Deen:
Tenele smiled and put a hand on his shoulder. "You're rambling..." she said quietly and she smiled softly. "You could get your castle back... you could talk to the Queen about it and her word is final. Why don't you mention it to her in the morning... I'm sure she wouldn't mind, you being her favorite vampire and all."
She would have never thought he would fear death, that came as a shock, but soon faded. At least he only feared on thing, unlike her half mortal self who feared more than one thing...
She looked at her ceiling that was painted like the stars. It was just like looking at the night sky, but not as real. She looked at Vladimir wondering what he was thinking.
Zenmusha:
Vlad looked back at her, and started laughing frantically. He was about to roll on the ground when he finally got a grip on himself. "Hehehehehe... It just occured to me that I'll spend a lot of time with my Hellhound in Hell."
He smiled back at her. "Nah, it's useless to get my castle back. The villagers would just lay siege to it with pitchforks and scythes, screaming Demon,Demon!... At least that's what happened when I tried to make sure they didn't need to fear my thirst. I think I've mentioned that my blood donation taxes was what made them revolt in the first place, didn't I? And there's also all those bothersome things... like budget expenses, paying tribute to the capital city, warding off the power-hungry nobles... And the good things? Having an army... when you are one yourself. Having a neat bed... when you don't need sleep. Having a lot of courtesans... when you've grown tired of meaningless company." He laughed silently. "I guess I'm just being spoiled about it. But it'd be nice to have lived a mortal life, like my ancestors, and pass on the itle to an heir."
He looked back at Tenele. "Want to go outside and admire the stars and the moon?"
Emora Deen:
Tenele nodded and pushed herself off the floor. As they walked to the double doors leading out side she asked, "Vampires can't have children?" She opened the doors to her small little weed covered garden that she didn't garden in... for that matter she couldn't grow anything. There was a small stone bench and she walked towards it.
She had never given that much thought, maybe he could and he just didn't want to have a vampire child or what ever it would be...
Zenmusha:
Waving both hands, the candles went back to their original place. He got up from the floor, and accompanied Tenele outside. "We can have children with some mortal species, and among ourselves. Though there aren't many mortal women in here that seem interested in letting a mad vampire father their child. And I hardly think my apprentices want to hang around with me..." He laughed. It was a cloudy night.
"Watch this." He closed his eyes, anticipating the strain. "It's been a while since I last tried this little trick..." At the same time he opened his eyes, he seemed to grab something invisible with both hands... And surprisingly, the clouds began to open. The red pentagram flashed on the ground, and it was as if the unnusually bright red light was causing him pain. He didn't stop until the moon could be seen though. "Eh... stupid seals... Used too much of my power for Stage C... Good thing it was just telekinesis."
It was a beautiful red full moon... Though even beautiful things can be deadly. It seemed to emmanate a strange reddish glow... Unnusual indeed. He sat down in the bench. "Tenele, do you know what a red moon means?"
Emora Deen:
Tenele watched him do his magic, she watched, as it seemed to give him pain... but he must have ignored it, he accomplished his task. "When I was little Essy used to tell me wives tells... I think it meant death... or maybe that was a red sun..." She chuckled lightly and sat down on the stone bench looking up at him. "I never paid much attention to wives tells."
She tilted her head and looked at the moon. "Its odd how beautiful things could mean something bad..." She smiled and looked at the stars. "My there bright tonight." At least now that he had taken away the clouds.
A slight breeze blew, just enough to moves small strands of her hair, tickling her nose. She brushed them away from her face and continued her wondering. "Well, you have a whole immortal life to live, I'm sure you'll find someone one day to put up with you." She smiled up at him, bracing her hands on either side of her.
Zenmusah:
He admired the moon, looking a bit concerned. "Who knows... I just might find one..." His mind was somewhere else. He had learned not to take omens for granted. "Tenele, wives tells always have a small amount of truth. In this case, it's got a whole caravan of it. A red moon can either mean great emminent bloodshed or past bloodshed. It'll only fade away when this war ends, I believe... In fact, I hope it will."
He stopped leering at the moon, and his eyes drifted into the stars. "They are like that all the time. It's amazing... Some of them have moved away slightly... I spend many hours looking at them when I'm bored, so I can tell that. Even if it's only an insignificant change, it's still a change."
Emora Deen:
Tenele looked at him and listened as he spoke. What he said about stars was just so deep and profound, because it was right. She had never looked at the stars like that... looked and noticed the changes...
"I never thought of it like that, but I think I'll start... it makes looking at them more interesting..." she said quietly looking back up at them. The stars and the glow from the red moon made her eyes sparkle. She noticed she was beginning to feel like she had known Vladimir for a very long time... she couldn't even remember how many days ago she had met him... She smiled. "You know, going to this feast together is going to make those people who think were lovers... well they are going to think they're right." Not that she cared, she didn't care what people said about her, even though it would probably be rather mean, since they thought she was a lover to a vampire. But, she didn't care, he was a lot better of a person than most of them any way. Even if he did act insane ever now and then...
Zenmusha:
Vlad laughed as he read her thought about his periods of temporary insanity. "Hey, a guy has to have fun! And since I've grown wise enough not to give a snail about other's opinion, what better to poke fun at their startled expressions?"
No longer laughing, but still with his trademark grin, he looked at Tenele. "Well, seems it's getting a bit late. Loved chatting with you, dear Maiden Girl, but I must go. We vampires also need to make arrangements for our glorious entrances in parties... By the way, I hope you don't mind if I borrow this empty wine bottle I spotted in your kitchen." He pointed at the bottle in his waist. "I might need it for my... formal uniform... hehehehehe..."
He got up from the bench, and spoke as he walked away into the night. "I'll be waiting at your door in the last hours of the day, Tenele Raider. Be ready... Or I might leave without you... Unlikely. Hehehehehe...."
Emora Deen:
Tenele smiled and shook her head. “Good night, Vladimir,” she said and turned walking back into her home. She closed the door behind her and locked it, then walked around to the front door, locking it as well, something she should have done before so that werewolf couldn’t have gotten in. Then she walked up the stares to take a bath and retire.
The next day she did several things. She laid out her dress for the feast and then went to the market to pick up a few things, just to get that out of the way so she wouldn’t have to do it on the way on her trip. She went to the palace and finished up a few lose ends and then returned home to ready herself for the feast.
Her dress was red satin, it seemed simple, but in many ways it wasn’t. The dress was held up by thin straps and from these straps dangled red satin ribbons and a long strip of fabric that floated behind her when she walked. In the back it was open, tied together by red ribbons, that even after they were tied almost dragged the ground. Her hair was braided in one long braid and pinned up by a ruby hair peace. Strands of silver fell in front of her face. Around her neck was a simple diamond necklace, a simple chain of diamonds with diamond tear drops hanging down all around them. Her full lips were glossy dark red and her shoes were, you guessed it red. At her waist was Tenchuu. She radiated beauty in a profound ravishing way.
She walked down the steps from her room, holding the front of her dress up. Tenele wondered what Vladimir would be wearing, no doubt something that would get him noticed. She smiled all to herself… I wonder, she thought, if he’ll come with me, plenty of demons and evil to fight off the closer you get to the boarder…
Zenmusha:
He smiled to himself... Somehow, he had a weird idea while watching tanners. In the early hours of the day, he stole a few pieces of leather, and threatened a tanner to comply with his wish or die a horrible death. Of course she chose the first...
While she was preparing his uniform (after taking measures), he used his claws to slice the bottom of the greenish bottle, making two small circles. He "persuaded" in a simillar manner a certain blacksmith who's grandfather had nearly bankrupted his county with useless ornaments...
By the end of the day, which he spent drinking deer blood in the woods, his clothes had been prepared. Vlad was dressed up in a tight black leather uniform... And the small circles he sliced had been used to make... iron sunglasses. He wore a pair of white gloves, with his accursed encircled pentagram inscribed in the back, and dark brown, almost black, leather boots. His short hair was even more unruly than usual, and many of the citizens looked in awe at him as he made his way to Tenele's house... for many reasons.
After what was a short walk, he arrived at her doorstep. Closing his fist, he knocked three times, wondering what she'd be dressing.
Emora Deen:
Tenele had carried her shoes down in her hands and when she reached the bottom of the steps she slipped them on. She stood up and walked around in the main hall, twirling in front of a mirror and wondering how long it was until he would come. Her green eyes looked over her reflection, then she turned away from the mirror.
She heard knocking and guessed that must have been him... She walked to the door and opened it up. At first she didn't really recognise him. "Vlad..." she said holding back a smile that wanted so badly to be let lose, as well as a laugh. "You look... nice." She smiled finally. "Well, I'm ready to leave... if you are."
Zenmusha:
He grinned. Yes, that feeling he had that he looked ridiculous was more than just a feeling... But hey, vampires are supposed to act weird every now and then. "You don't look so bad yourself, my dear." How did she ever guess red was his favourite colour? No idea...
"Come, let's toy further with those snotty noble's minds." He wrapped his arm around hers, and walked down the stairs. "You look like a true vampiress..." He whispered in her ear.
Emora Deen:
Tenele smiled and bit her bottom lip at his complement. She looked away for a moment and then back at him. "Thank you," she replied smiling. "You look... well, I'm sure there is a word for it..." She grinned playfully.
She looked away for a moment at the nobles walking towards the palace. Some that had been there at the council watched them closely with interest. "Nosy, nosy," she muttered and sounds of horse hooves thundered behind them. A carriage raced by them with a rather mad (in the loony since) driver.
"Well some one is in a hurry..." she looked to Vladimir, admiring his out fit once more.
Zenmusha:
Vlad's eyes sparkled with glee... "Aye, so it seems. But you know, hastiness is perfection's blood enemy... Excuse me for a moment dear." He let go of her arm, winking at her. "Time for someone to get their driver's licence invalidated... hehehehe..." He made a short run in the carriage's direction, and leaped as fast as a cannon bullet to its ceiling.
He landed remarkably silent, and the driver didn't really seem to notice him.. until he grabbed him by the hair and forced him to gaze at his red, bloodshot eyes. "Good evening... dinner." The man cried like a woman when Vlad shrieked and feigned to bite him.
Losing control of the horses, the driver was thrown away against a fat, particularly arrogant noble that Vlad overheard saying bad things about him and his companion. The fat prevented any serious injury... Though the noble didn't seem very happy by the end. Vlad sliced the horse's restraints, and the animals ran away into freedom. Vlad jumped out from the carriage just as one of the weels came out (guess who's fault it is)... and it spun around itself for a long while. When it stopped, the guy that Vlad had called fatso a few days ago came out, looking a bit... discomposed.
Grinning with satisfaction, Vlad walked back to Tenele, cleaning his sunglasses with a rag he caught when throwing the driver away. "Shall we go now?"
Emora Deen:
"You know, it's not a wonder any one has tried to kill you for the things you do," she said a little annoyed by his actions, must he try and kill every one? Tenele walked with him towards the castle which was brightly lit with torches and candles. Guards guarded the gate way to the courtyard leading to the stares by which you entered the palace. Many people in fancy clothes walked towards the main doors and some walked passed them and behind them. Tenele looked to the dark sky for a moment before they passed through the gates. "Well, this will be a very interesting night," she said more to herself.
As if that were the cue for him a short man, shorter than normal men walked up. He was dressed in fine green. He stepped in front of them quickly to cut them off. Before she could even say no he had grabbed her hand and kissed it. "My lady," he said as she pulled her hand away. "You look lovely..." He looked her in the eyes and then he looked to Vladimir. "My lord, I trust you found your journey... interesting?"
Tenele looked at Vladimir for a moment, slightly confused, but then again, she didn't know everything he did. "I'll be right back," she said and walked towards a young woman, a Queen's Maiden also to ask her a question.
"I'm sure you found it interesting," the man said and glanced at Tenele for a moment. "You know what I find interesting?" He waited a moment. "Why she would waste such a... bodice... on a lifeless man like yourself... What a pity..." He smiled and swept a hand over his greasy hair. This is what he loved to do, he knew that his time was limited in Ighten, almost every one was catching on to him, so he thought to pick a fight with any one he could... Even if it was stupid idea to pick one with Vladimir Dracul.
Zenmusha:
He grinned predatorially at the small rat in the shape of a man. "And you know what I find interesting? That a low creature like you decides to bump against its greatest foe... Tell me, do you think I fear Shea's wrath? Ha! If so... You are very deluded, my friend." He grabbed him by the belt, and lifted him up. "ANYONE WANT A GO AT SOCCER?" He shouted to no one in particular. And was shot by a volley of killer looks...
"Guess it's just you and me then... " he wouldn't kill him... Only leave him crippled enough not to be able to escape. After all, he didn't need another Adrian... And there was also Sinead's tactic of feeding lies... With that in mind, he threw him up, and kicked his butt as he fell, and he slammed against a pair of armoured guards... "GOOOOOOOAAAAAL!!! Yesss!! Oh, I'm so GOOOOD!!!"
Emora Deen:
Tenele whipped around after hearing some one yelling... goal? She saw the culprit and she didn't even have to guess to know whom it was. "Vlad..." she hissed and walked over to him quickly. She grabbed his arm and pulled him along. "What are you doing? He's a noble... Here, come this way, the garden is always opened on special occasions... besides I don't think those guards are very happy and you making these many scenes in such little time will not please our Queen at all..."
She walked down a little maze like path to the end where a gate was, the gate to the garden. "We can get to the ball room through another path way that leads to the steps to the balcony..." She looked behind her at him. "Why did you do that to him? I know he's a creepy little man, but... Do you have to practically kill every one you meet?" She asked and turned to him folding her arms. Well, he did have that habit...
Tenele looked at him with her green eyes, sizing him up. "Well, he must have threatened you or something... just try not to kill any one with the Shogun here... We need his help and seeing a mad vampire running lose might get him to take it away."
Tenele leaned her back against the vine-covered wall. "I'm not to interested in going to the feast... I don't know why... I've never liked crowds... Any way... Do you wanna get going now, so you can show off your..." She looked him up and down and smiled at the way it fit on him. "Well, ready?" She sighed for a second, enjoying the way the atmosphere was.
Zenmusha:
Vlad allowed Tenele to drag him to the garden. "Hehehe... Sure, let's go... The night's still a child, after all. And by the way, when we get to the dining room we'll have to talk about that noble. There are a few things you should know about the guy." Just as he said that, the two guards, looking more than a bit angry, found them. "Eh, better make it fast. Those blokes seem ready to die on duty... Hehehehe..." Though there was a part of him that wanted to have a go at the tin cans...
Emora Deen:
She saw the guards coming quickly with rather angry, annoyed and down right, I'm going to kill you looks. "Come on this way..." she said and smiled, grabbing his hand pulling him down another path way into the maze that led to the main part of the garden. No one really went into the maze they figured they would get lost, but Tenele had gone through it so many times she knew where to go to get out. As she ran the dress moved behind her gracefully. She turned quickly and pulled him with her as the guards turned the corner to find that they had disappeared somewhere.
Tenele covered her mouth and giggled quietly. She put a finger to her dark red lips and made the "Shhh" sound. The guards ran passed them for a moment. It was quiet after the sound of their footsteps had gone. Tenele peeked her head out and turned it to the left, no one was there. Then she turned it to the right and there they were standing with arms folded. Tenele jumped back around the corner. "Now would be a good time to run..." She smiled up at him.
Zenmusha:
Vlad smiled back. "Well, if you say so..." He jumped out, grabbing her hand, and running left. The guards chased after them, but their armour seemed to be slowing them down, as they eventually lost on them. Vlad couldn't help but laugh out loud at it all. He and Tenele seemed like two teenagers running away from oppressing parents.
They found themselves in the centre of the garden. "Well, now where do we go, Tenele?" There were quite a few paths, and, even though he enjoyed stalking lepricons and squirrels in the garden, he never bothered walking through the paths. Grass was meant to be stepped on...
Emora Deen:
Tenele stopped running when they reached the center and smiled. "This way," she said pointing to a coble stoned path way that was walled high on each side by bricks covered in ivy. She began to walk, they had lost them for the moment and there was no need to waste energy on running for no reason.
"Well..." she said and looked to Vladimir in his sun glasses. She was about to finish what she was saying when a question came to her mind. "Can you see in those?" she asked and her smile grew into a grin. While she waited for an answer she put both hands to her head checking to see if anything was out of place. What little light came from the sky shown down, making his pale skin seem to glow and making her look just pale and her lips darker than they really were.
Zenmusha:
Vlad scoffed at the question. "My dear, for me it's as clear as sunlight. These..." he pointed to the glasses. "... don't hinder me the least. But they might come in handy in daylight. Not that I'm affected by the sun, I simply hate it."
Waiting until she had double checked her gear, Vlad continued to walk the path with her. It seemed that, after all that running around, it lead back to the castle. One day, he'd have to fly over the garden to learn more about its many details. "But you were about to say something. Hope my sunglasses didn't make you forget what you wanted to ask... or state."
Emora Deen:
Tenele nodded as he told her about the glasses. "I was going to ask what you would have to tell people about Migo La'ray... he noble... I always thought he was a spy and lately I've been thinking it more and more, but he has always kept such a clean trail for such a dirty little man..."
She turned down another walk way. "So, can you tell me or must a wait?" she asked looking to her side and up at him.
Zenmusha:
A series of past events flashed in Vlad's mind. "Migo La'Ray... So that's his name... Remeber when that guy went to your house asking if you wanted to go on a trip to Ongoreth? Well, I had the brilliant idea of accepting... And guess what, it was a trap from our dear foe Shea. Sleaze ball there put a collar in me that prevented me from moving... Not that it was much of a precaution though... Hehehehe...."
He then went into a full length description of what he had done in the ship, remaining amazingly accurate. What must've been hard for him... "So, now that I've shed a light on my reasons for playing football with the guy, I want to know something, Maiden Girl." He turned to face her, smiling slightly as he approached his face to hers. He kept his eyes fixed on hers, until he aske..."Which way?" He pointed to a crossroads a few inches from them.
Emora Deen:
Tenele didn't really know what he was doing at first when he became very close to her face and then he asked which way to go and she smiled closing her eyes. "To the right..." she opened her eyes and began walking.
"So you plan on blowing it all in front of every one... I believe you and all, but unlike the time you confessed against Adrian... you have no proof to give them. No documentation that he is who you say he is. If you kill him with out proof then they could have you thrown in the dungeons until some one can prove you did the right thing..." she said and looked at him. "Well, do you have proof to offer them?" She searched his face with her green eyes. She lifted her dress when they came to a part in the coble stone where it had sunken in from wear or something and was filled with water from the last rain or could even be an underground spring, she never remembered seeing it dry. It took up a good amount of space.
Zenmusha:
Before Tenele made a step towards the puddle, Vlad grabbed her by the knees and shoulders, and walked across it. "Better hold on to me. You might just fall." He didn't grin as broadly as usual, this time.
"As for evidence, I don't need them. Forgot that Sinead and me share a mental bond? As long as she believes me, I'm clear. And even if she doesn't..." He made his psycho smile. "... the seals would be destroyed. I'm only her servant as long as she accepts my servitude. If she deems me an enemy, I can use all my abilities... And believe me, there's not a single creature on this Realm that can match my power in combat... save perhaps Sinead herself, though I never had a chance to test my abilities against her."
He grinned normally again. "But I have evidence. Remember the collar? Well, since my stomach doesn't work as it did once, guess where I put it... Hehehehehe...."
Emora Deen:
Tenele put one arm around his neck and put a hand on his shoulder with the other one. 'This really wasn't necessary,' would have been the words she would have said, instead she listened to him talk. When he had finished talking about his stomach she tilted her head looking at him. "How do you plan on... on getting it out?" She asked rather shocked that he didn't choke on it. She noticed that they had done crossed the small pond being made in the middle of the walkway. "Um..." she said quietly and looked down and then back at him. "You can put me down now if you want..."
Zenmusha:
Considering for a brief moment throwing her in the puddle, and dismissing the thought since she had grown enough in his esteem, Vlad allowed her to walk by her own feet. "Your wish, my Lady. Hehehehehe...."
He continued walking along what seemed to be a never-ending path. "As for removing the necklace... Well, there are quite a number of ways. I can just puke it out, though it's not very clean... I think there's still a bit of war ration there... rotting for the last century... Or I can also dissembowel myself and pick it up. Nothing too hard for me... Or I can hook a magnet to a string and pick it up."
There seemed to be a staircase leading to a balcony ahead. "Well, seems like we're here." Just as he said that, the two guards popped out from the small trees on the sides, still looking forward to payback. "Don't these guys have better things to do...? No wonder we need foreign help in war..."
Emora Deen:
It's not that she didn't enjoy Vladimir carrying her... it was just the fact she didn't want to be annoying or burden to him. Who knows when he would have one of his anger attacks again? "You would rip out your own stomach to get a necklace?" Geese, he had guts... She shook her head, she could never do something like that... though she was half immortal so...
"Well," she said and swallowed hard at the thought of him pulling off any of those maneuvers made her sick. "You better do it now... and put it in your pocket.... if you have a pocket... Oh, look... there back."
Zenmusha:
Vlad examined the guards... Halberds, plate armour, corny metal hats... The usual. Sighing, he walked a few steps towards them. "Why don't you just go to a brothel? I'm sure there's a place for two... "friends" like you. Hehehehehehe..." He intently shown his fangs, that shinned brightly in the moonlight.
The two men shivered. "Uh, Kyle, you sure about this?" The most scared asked. "Sure thing, John. We can't allow this bloodsucker to keep pestering everyone. Now's the day he learns his lesson." Kyle attacked Vlad, sweeping the air with his halberd. Vlad easily parried the blade with his hand. "Stupid human..." He grabbed the weapon's spike with his free hand, and pulled. The man fell as he tried to harden his grip on the handle, futility in this sort of time. He came close to Vlad, who grabbed him by the nose. "Checkmate, tin can." Throwing him into the air, he used the halberd's handle as a bat, and slammed it against the guy's plate. He came flying against John, that had kept quiet all along.
With his hunter's grin, Vlad walked to them. "Consider yourselves lucky. I'm in a good mood today. Now, pester off."
Emora Deen:
Tenele watched with amusement, which was odd, usually she would have asked Vladimir not to hurt them. But, she watched and actually enjoyed the entertainment? What has gotten into me? She shook her head and watched as the guards stood up. People on the balcony were looking over the railing watching what was happening.
She rubbed her arm as she waited to see what the men would do. If they would run or if they would try and fight again... But while she was thinking this she heard voices coming from the end of the maze or... the beginning... what ever. It sounded like Migo... and a few others. She crept forward; trying to keep her heals from making any noise. When she got there she noticed no one was there... They must be in a part of the maze. While Vlad was busy with his friends Tenele went back into the maze and coming to a place where there was another path way in the wall. It was just before you got to the water. Tenele stood with her stomach close the wall and peeked around the corner, trying not to get noticed. He must have gone into the castle and come out the back way to come in here and talk.
"The Vampire knows... it won’t be easy to eliminate him. He has to have a weakness..." Migo said to the two men. One of them didn't even look human... he stood in the shadows... so she really couldn't tell. Then he came into the light and she covered her mouth.
"Well, he might not have any physical weaknesses but he has one..." the blond man said and looked at Migo. "The Queen is getting anxious to make her attack... and I have some unfinished business with two friends here in Ighten, but I'm afraid that will have to wait until later..."
What is he doing here? Tenele thought and she rolled quickly to where her back was against the wall when he had looked in her direction. "Looks like one of them is already here..." Tenele's eyes went wide and she picked up her dress in the front and took off out of the maze to find Vladimir...
Zenmusha;
Vlad, done with the two guards, that were now running away from him as fast as they could, turned to find Tenele was missing... though he could still smell her fragrance in the air. Walking in a fast pace to the maze, he heard two familiar voices a few metres away... Adrian?
Vlad began to run when he overheard Adrian mentioning his friend... could only mean Tenele had been found. Not sure why, he didn't think he cared about the half-elf... But then again, it'd explain why he treated her a bit better than most. Smiling at his discovery, he nearly bumped into her. Looking into her eyes, he recognized her scared features. "Adrian's here... I'll take care of him. If you can, try and pin down Migo."
He walked further into the maze, following the trail of Tenele's perfume... what was Adrian's strategy as well. The two opponents looked at each other. "For someone dead twice, you look healthy, you trash of a night stalker." Vlad taunted.
Emora Deen:
It was true, Tenele was afraid of Adrian... She couldn't figure out why, she wasn't afraid of him like she was afraid of Vladimir... it was different... Tenele nodded when he told her what to do. "He's back with Adrian..." she said, but he was already heading in that direction. She chased after him as best she could in the shoes and the heavy dress she wore...
Adrian was staring Vlad down with a grin... that was more like Vlad's, which was rather creepy... though it wasn't as happy as Vladimir's grin. Migo's eyes widened when the vampire (Vladimir) entered the clearing.
"Believe me..." Adrian said coolly and his smile grew to a grin. "I would love to kill you... truly I would... but I have only come to deliver a message in a most... noticeable way." He looked around the small walk way and smiled when his eyes looked to Tenele. "But..." he sighed. "I am rather hungry..." His eyes flashed back to Vladimir. "So I guess I could kill you and then have her for my dinner... who knows I could make her my slave for eternity... I can smell the fear on her... Come Vlad... let's fight over something. You lose... I get her you win... you get her..." Anything that would give Adrian a chance to fight he would try. But, the thought of drinking Tenele dry did sound very appealing...
Tenele drew her sword quickly, just incase. But, Adrian didn't attack her thankfully... he went for Vladimir.
Zenmusha:
Vlad grinned broader. "Stupid son of a maggoty appleseed... Playing games this late in the night?" He crouched, waiting for Adrian to come further... and then jumped over him, grabbing his head in mid-flight and twisting it. He laughed frantically when his neck snapped, and landed facing his back... And was taken aback when he didn't drop dead on the ground, instead just stumbling for a bit on his feet and twisting back his neck... "No Life King... So, Shea has fashioned a new servant..."
He laughed silently, and gradually louder until whatever creatures still witnessing the fight ran away. "Target Recognized. Situation B. Until target is silenced, lifting level B seals." The pentagrams in his hands flashed red...
Emora Deen:
Adrian smiled. "I've learned a lot of new tricks..." He smiled larger. "...for instance..." He disappeared. "Hey over here!!!" He called and when Vlad turned around he would have seen two of the same people standing there, exactly the same in every way. Both the same woman. A voice inside Vlad's head would have said Guess
The two women looked at each other with the same shocked expression and moved and did the same thing at he same time. "She's the one!!!" They said as one and pointed at each other... All the while Migo got away... But not for long. One Tenele turned and began running after him and the one with him. "Darn..." The other Tenele said in Adrian's voice. "Never can keep a female still around me..." He grinned maniacally. "I always manage to keep them down though... you know..." His form shifted into one that looked like Vlad's and then back into his regular one. "See new tricks... and when I'm finished with you I'll teach Tenele some tricks..." He laughed.
Zenmusha:
Vlad wasn't surprised in the least... Instead, he just laughed. "Shea should've given you a brain instead!! Flaunting your secret skills like that!?" His smile grew into a disgusted expression. "You're not worthy of undeath... I'll take great delight in pulling your every member apart, punk." He threw his sunglasses to a bush, things'd get nasty in a short while.
"Tenele! Cromwell, painting in your house! What happened is the password!" Vlad wanted to make sure Tenele didn't fall for his traps. His shape turned to the dark matter, and into a worg. He charged on Adrian, bitting his face and throwing him to the ground. With all his paws over him, he jerked his neck and growled, grinding his facial bones and pinning him down with his heavy weight.
Emora Deen:
Adrian smiled... pain no longer effected him. He disappeared out from under the worg. The next thing it should have felt was a long sword being shoved into its side and ripped out. "Migo tells me you both are lovers now... How amusing..." he said and sliced off his knees before disappearing and going to the other side. "Never would have thought it myself..."
"This plays in nicely!!!" he started sawing off the worg’s head. "You see, even if I don't kill you I could do a simple trick... pretend to be you for a night... then kill her when I was finished... What do you think? I've got a free night... hehe..." He cackled and spun around to make the finishing blow.
Zenmusha:
Vlad didn't mind the stabbing and cutting, he was used to it. What concerned him was that Adrian was close to sawing off his head. Ignoring his oafish words, he opened his jaws, facing the blade, and the red shield materialized and pushed back the blade.
Vlad returned to his humanoid shape, still bearing the sword marks... and instantly healing them. "Your pathetic exhistance disgusts me to no end... I'll take great delight in ripping you apart." He materialized in front of him, and hooked both his hands on his forearms, and pulled while bitting his throat. He smashed his feet with his own, and pulled his arms again, this time rougher, and they were ripped off. "Enjoying it, below fledgling?"
Emora Deen:
"Very much, master..." Adrian said and warped away. He didn't reappear for a moment, but once he did he was all fixed up except for one arm, which came back quickly. He looked a little sad. "I see me taunts don't affect you... so I'll just turn them into actions..." He smiled thinking, After all, even if it doesn't affect you, I'll enjoy myself...
While this was happening, Tenele had chanced down Migo and what must have been his bodyguard. They were in a fierce battle, which Tenele was holding good... even though she didn't know how to wield a Katana she wasn't dead yet. Mig was at a dead end and could go no further so he pulled a dagger. The one she had been fighting lunged at her and she stepped to the side, not quick enough though, it cut her arm... not deep, just a scratch. She swung around and almost cut him in half. Before Migo could attack her she swung the sword around and stopped it right before it hit his throat. "Stay."
"Well!!!" Adrian said and sighed. "I have business at the moment and you have made me very late... I'll be free when I'm done. Don't spoil my plans, please, little master... I'm," He sniffed the air looking the direction Tenele had gone, he showed his fangs..."looking forward to it..." He laughed and laughed while he disappeared and even after that his laugh seemed to linger.
Zenmusha:
Vlad's face twisted in loathe. "Little master?" Ignoring his stolen laughter, he raced back to Tenele. He could sense two bloods in the air... one unknown, and that was the one strongest in the air. Meaning Tenele had claimed a prey...
When he came to her, a bulky bodyguard had been delivered a mortal blow, and she had pinned down Migo. "Well done, Tenele Raider. Hold on for a moment while I dine..." He started licking of the ground the man's blood, proceding to the large wound, sucking the remaining blood from his carcass.
When he was done, keeping himself impecably clean during his meal, he faced Migo La'Ray. "Well, well. Football. How we meet again. You know, for having spread lies about the nature of my relationship with Tenele here, I should rip you apart and feed you to my Hellhound... But I'm sure you'll taste a lot better once I drag you to Sinead and she allows me to feed.. Hehehehe..."
Emora Deen:
Migo looked utterly terrified. "I didn't spread lies!!!" he said and shook his head quickly. "Please... please don't eat me... Throw me into the dungeons!!!" He pleaded, even putting his hands up and begging... Was that just a tear? While he was begging Tenele cleaned her sword off on his shirt, making him more terrified because he thought she was going to kill him.
She looked up quickly after putting her Katana away. "Did you kill him? Adrian, I mean..." she looked at him hopeful... hoping that Adrian was dead.
"He couldn't kill Adrian... he is the most powerful Vampire!" Migo said and Tenele took her fist and punched the side of his face.
"I wasn't talking to you," she said and looked back at Vladimir. She didn't want Adrian to be alive. Not only did he scare her before... but now that he could look like any one... it was much worst...
Zenmusha:
Vlad spat on Football's face. "That THING a vampire? And you say you don't tell lies... Alas, dear, the coward fled our battle." He noticed the small cut on her arm. "Here, let me clean that for you."
He kneeled down, and licked away the small trail of blood, flavouring it's delicate taste. "There. My saliva'll dissinfect it." He ripped of a piece of Migo's clothes, who shrieked like a wraith when his hand came close. Vlad tied the rag around her arm to stank the bleeding. "Let's go. We'll drag Football along."
Emora Deen:
Tenele smiled at his way of healing her. "Lovely," she said and looked into his eyes for a moment. "Come on... Football...." she smiled trying to lift her mood. But it was rather low now that Adrian was in town. Maybe he would get smart and leave... "You know, Migo... if you tell us what we'd like to know... like why Adrian was here, I might ask Vladimir kindly not to bite you..." She looked sideways at him while they walked back towards the steps. She could tell him that... but it didn't mean she had to stick to it. She was getting the point where she didn't care any more.
While they walked to the steps she heard something strange. Tenele.... it sounded like it was coming from right beside her ear... She looked to Vladimir. "Did you say something?" she asked... but she was the only one who heard the voice or should have been.
Zenmusha:
Vlad looked a bit displeased. "No... That's our friend Adrian playing with your mind. The stupid ass played that trick on me when he adopted your shape. Tenele, even if he's a No Life King... though he's more of a low life drag queen... he still doesn't fully control mind reading. It's a mastery that comes with age. Keep all the events that have passed between us in a private corner of your mind, and inquire me if you ever suspect something. Try not to slip when you ask..."
Now he had messed up bad... Darn. How could he ever guess that a small mistake could've led to so much crap...? Feeling a bit mad at himself, he continued walking back towards the balcony... Picking up his sunglasses on the way.
Emora Deen:
Tenele felt liking stomping and growling. "Geese, what next? I'm telling you, the days are getting worst..." she said and looked around as the climbed the steps. "What do you mean by keep past information in the corner of my mind? I don't think I can do that.... like hold stuff so no one could read it..." Then a thought came to her mind. Adrian might try and kill her again... She would have to remember to ask Vlad if he would stay with her a little tonight and tomorrow she could leave... she still hadn't told him about that or asked him if he wanted to come along. She'd do it during the feast.
But, she really didn't want to be alone if Adrian was back in town for the night... But, Vladimir, knowing his social self would probably have better things to do. She did have a sword now... but what if he pretended to be some one she knew and she didn't catch on until it was to late? Oh, well, she'd ha
