Lore: Forgotten Enemies
Mizuki smiled and picked up her son. She gave him a peice of bread to chew on- his first few teeth had already cut through- and began to hurriedly pack a bag for the tiny babe. The blob slide from the couch and onto the table and sat next to Blade. It munched on a pancake piece.
Thinking while she worked, Mizuki realized Rai had no real weapon of her own. The kid was pretty good with a dagger, but she'd need more to help protect herself and others with. Elves, even half elves had great aim and eyesight (just not so much in the dark)... Mizuki thought of trying to fix Rai with a bow. She knew how to make a bow herself, but arrows they would have to purchase, and the bow would have to be made quickly.
"Rai, eat quickly, I'm going to need you soon to fix you with a weapon." she said as she chewed on some bread and petted her sons head lovingly.

OOC: Everyone notice the 66th page? *blinks*
IC:
Rai grinned, happy that they decided to go help Soran. Wherever he might be... It hit her that they didn't know where Soran was. How would they save him if they couldn't find him? She guessed they could ask around to try and find someone who might know where he was... But... who would know?
Rai climbed into the chair at the table and began to eat quickly. She was eating much to fast and by the time she got done she had hiccups from eating so quickly.
Mizuki was going to give her a weapon?! Wow... Did this mean she was grown up?

OOC: considering that 7 days have past within the "Destroy all that Binds" thread, and we need to be alongside them, I'm gonna fast forward if no one minds.
IC: A week past. Siren had already deposited Blade at the Dark Angel fortress among trusted people. In fact, it had been the same two people that they had seen back at the necromancer's stronghold. Ronal and Karin, they were trusted for Karin loved children more than anything. They would take care of Blade, teach him like they would normal Dark Angel children, then when he was old enough tell him the truth and set him out to find Mizuki. The blob would be with him through it all. The parting had been hard, but it was nessassary and Mizuki watched Blade go and asking the Fates to watch over him.
Mizuki was busy teaching Rai the ways of the bow, a little of how to use a dagger. She explained to the child that she would not be in close combat battle. If it ever occured, she would use her dagger to protect herself and her arrows to help cover Siren and Mizuki. It was best, Mizuki did not want to risk her more than needed.
Mizuki had frequent visions of where Soran was. Though she couldn't place it exactly, she had an idea of a large mountain, and a building built practicaly inside it. It was large, both the mountain and the building. With that in her head, Mizuki asked around the village if any had seen such a place. Everyone told her it was Mount May'em, though the building they could not say. So, she came back with an idea of where they were headed.
"We're going to Mount May'em." she told Siren and Rai. "That's the object in my vision's and where I see Soran being held."

Rai's excitment would've been infectious had this not been a life or death rescue. Mizuki didn't know how long Soran could last under his conditions.
"Will it take long to get there? Will I have to heal Soran? Is he alright?" The girl was so excited, Mizuki hated to have to tell her that what she had seen was... good.
"I'm... not sure. You may--no, you probably will be healing Soran but..." it was hard to speak of. Everytime she had seen Soran... she always felt some kind of pain. She tried to will Soran to hold on, but her breif connections always broke.

"How far away is Mount May'em?" Siren asked, assuming they wouldn't be able to take the short way since no one else had wings. She still wasn't good at judging distance by land. "Will it take us long to get there?"
OOC: Hey guys, I'm not dead, not quite anyway. My professors seem to want to make it that way though. I'll see what I can do this week, but till Monday it's going to be very touch and go. more touch than go.

OOC: We've got about a 2 week journey ahead of us. Crossing mountains, a river, then a desert. Be prepared. o.o;; *gulp*
"About 2 weeks journey." Mizuki said grimly. "We must cross the moutain Border, journey a ways then cross a river... then we enter into the desert." She silently prayed that they'd make that journey, and Soran would hold out. 'Oh Soran, please hold out. We may not get to you for weeks or more...' she tried to call out to him with her mind. She had no idea if it worked like it had before in the begining.

"I've seen maps, hells I have one in my room as we speak- Trail charted and all- many people have also said that length of time, some a little more." Mizuki said, a weary tone in her voice. "The only modes of transportation would be to walk or by Horse, both for me and Rai. A cart would slow us down, and we need to travel as wuick as we can without hampering the supplies we'd need." She paced the room for a moment, considering for a moment the prospect of learning more of her untapped seer powers... but that could take longer than the time they had.
"We need supplies to travel the mountains and fair through the desert. Strong horses as well... You can fly above us Siren..." she couldn't think of anything else to say about their journey. It was going to be tough. Mountains they had already handled before but a desert... Mizuki imagined that the desert would slow them down more than anything else on their journey. 'Fates help us...' Mizuki prayed silently, 'Soran stay strong.' Once again she called to him, helplessly hoping for some response.

"Well, at least the load won't be to heavy for the horses," she said, raising her wrist in front of her, the charms making tingling noises against eachother.
"We can store most of whatever we need in the warp pouch. It holds a surprising amount. So let's start gathering supplies and head out as soon as we can."
OOC: *cry* my Japanese final tomorrow (today?) is going to kill me, one way or another.

Mizuki nodded and gathered up the bags of supplies she had already started packing before hand. She gave a soft smile at Rai's eagarness.
"I'll have to buy horses first in town." she told them as she hefted her arrows over her shoulder and strapped her bow behind her back. "Rai I'll need you with me so we can find the perfect one for you."
