LORE: Dance on the Shore
The sound of the waves crashed down on the shore in repeating roars. The wind seemed to be caused by them, though that was a false assumption, but as the waves crashed the wind blue.
The stars sparkled brightly in the sky, thousands upon thousands filled the blackness above along with a crystal full moon. A band of people were along the shore dancing around a large bond fire while a small group sat on the ground playing strange instruments. One was strumming a guitar, another playing through small drums, one playing a flute and the other was singing in a totally different language from anything that Narisa had ever heard, but she couldn’t help but admit that dancing was fun.
She spun around in circles with the others dancing around the fire with no real purpose but to have fun.
She had always been the type of person to be spontaneous. She didn’t even know this strange group of people but joined them in there merrymaking.

Carnthir sat on a small hill over looking the caost. He had left his home to travel for a few days and continue his training on his own. He watched the crowd beneath him. The were all so merry and happy. He couldn't decide if he wanted to go down and join them or not. It wasn't really his kind of thing.
He laid back on the sand and stared up into the deep dark sky. The soft wind blew across his face. He enjoyed the cool, salty air of the sea.
A small young woman caught his eye as he sat back up. He didn't remember seeing her earlier. He watched as she danced around in circles. She moved with elegance and grace.
He wondered if anyone noticed him up on the hill, but then again he was a little ways off.

Narisa laughed as she spun around in circles and slipped on the sand, but caught her balance with ease. A man with long blond hair came up to her with a grin on his face and held out a jug of something to her. “Yulna.”
Narisa blinked for a moment and had to remember where she heard that from. Her elvish wasn’t very great, but she could understand a little bit.
“Oh… thanks,” she said with a smile and took a sip of the drink.
“Lle en re sai lirima,” he said to his friends and they laughed and nodded in agreement.
“Excuse me?” she asked, not totally understanding and almost choking on the strong liquor.
“He said your very lovely,” a girls voice said from behind her. She noticed the young elf girl sitting with her legs crossed and her flute in her hand.
“Oh… thanks,” Narisa said and laughed, feeling a bit embarrassed that she had never been taught proper elvish.

Carnthir was a good ways off but he could understand some of what was said. He saw the man approach the young lady and heard part of what he said.
"Re ier lirima," he said softly to himself. He couldn't resist the temptation any longer. He had to go meet her.
He stood up and walked down towrds the party. She danced around the outside of the crowd of people. He kept his composure as he mad his way close to her.
"Ier lle tuulo' pelu sinome?" He asked in a deep solemn voice when he finally reached her.

Narisa danced around until she heard another person speaking to her. She whirled around, her bright red hair catching the light of the fire as she did so, causing it to shimmer as it fell over her shoulders.
“Doesn’t anyone speak common?” she asked softly with a sigh, his words gibberish in her head.
“He asked where your from,” the girl told her, smiling. It seemed to Narisa that she was the only one who knew how to speak common.
“Oh,” Narisa replied and laughed again. “Everywhere!” She spun in a circle with her arms out of her side.

Narisa smiled and made an elaborate bow. She stood up straight. “Narisa Saline,” she introduced herself to him. “Gypsy, dancer, and illusionist extraordinaire!”
With a smile she happily demonstrated her ability by turning into the man with long blond hair and spinning around until she turned back into herself.

"Not bad," he mused clapping his hands and laughing. It was a nice trick but he didn't act to impressed. "I'm not quite that gifted,"
He looked over at the woman who was translating a second ago and smiled,"Eithel lome!"
"Salka yassen amin!" He grabbed Narisa by the hands and started dancing around in circles with her.

Narisa laughed and allowed him to grab her hands. “Whatever that means…” she commented and danced around the camp fire with him.
She was the type of person that enjoyed meeting people and doing new things. This was exciting and new and the man seemed to be very interesting, though she only understood half of what he was saying.
“Do you know these people?”

"Tanya ier de a' her" he replied. The man had already been drinking a lot and was rather rough.
"Amin ier salka yassen he" he replied fiercely. He jumped between Carnthir and Narisa and shoved Carnthir back.
Carnthir stumbled back but quickly caught his balance and attacked the man. Before the man even had a chance to react Canthir had his blade to his neck.
" You should have just asked her like I told you," Carnthir said in a still calm voice.

"Woah boys! No need to fight over little ole' me! I should be moving on anyway... and it seems I'm causing some trouble so I'll do so now. It was nice meeting you..."
She smiled and picked up her bag before waving an heading off down the shore line, her bare feet in the water as she did so.
She hummed the song that the small bad just got through playing, wondering if it was rude of her to walk out the way she had done...

Carnthir watched her walk away and smiled at her comment. "This isn't a fight." He pulled his sword back and punched the man square in the nose. The man fell to the ground screaming. He was so drunk he couldn't even help himself up.
"Hang on a second," he sheathed his sword and rushed up to Narisa. He grabbed her by the arm and asked, "Where are you goin?"

Narisa stopped shortly when he grabbed her arm and looked back at him with a smile, though her eyes fell on his hand, which wasn't painfully holding her arm, but still the gesture seemed a bit rude to her.
"Oh, no where really, like I said, I'm from everywhere..." She pulled her arm away from him and with a flash of a smile she continued on down the coast line, her feet tredding through the water as the waves washed over them.
