Zenmusha:
The fast Ongoreth fleet made its way through the Sea of Ongore in no time, and by the dawn of the next day it arrived at the shores of Lowight. So many ships must've alarmed the Ighteners, that refused to allow them access to the docks. The Shogun awoke to that new. "Well, let's ask permission to the Queen. No need to make a bloodshed right now. Emissaries!" A group of lighty armed men walked in. "Ask Queen Sinead permission to land our ships in Shogun Kitanai's name."
The two men went out in dingies, rowing their way to the docks, and from there to the palace.
Eslin:
Sinead walked into the room. This is where she normally received guest. It was a large room. In the center there was a throne, and the room was decked with the finest the palace had to offer. Sinead was dressed in her finest too. It was always good to make lasting impressions. She was wearing a green silk with gold trim and embroidery. She had a small crown woven into her silky golden hair. There was a moonstone necklace around her neck, and matching earrings. When she entered the room she glided to the throne in the center. It was raised and had seven steps. She strode up the steps half way and turn to face the emissaries. She knew that they wanted permission to dock. She put on her best smile; it lit up her beautiful face. “I grant you and your fleet permission to dock and enter the city. I ask that you wouldn't cause too much of a commotion. But I do understand that our ways are different. Please tell your Shogun that I’ll meet with him here when he has arrived.” She went up the final steps to the throne. Her smile slid off into a frown. She prepared herself to face Kitanai. The last few times they’d meet weren’t the prettiest.
Zenmusha:
The Shogun smiled when his emissaries returned. While they were at it, he'd already dressed up his armour. It was a black and silvery Kabuto, with a cotton jacket over the steel to make for esthetical beauty. His helmet had a dragon head carved in gold on the forehead, and a black mettalic mask. The horns on the helmet spreading from the forehead up didn't resemble horns at all, more like blades, even if they weren't sharp. In other words, he looked like a steel demon.
He sighed as they told him that the queen didn't want a regular entrance... regular for Ongorethians. "Can't let the men think I'm her servant though...." He'd make a regular entrance....
When the ships docked, the first to leave were the Nibu Wolves and Kitanai, riding their horses. After that, the higher class Samurai, riding as well. The lower class and the monks and rangers left lastly. They all assembled in a simillar way to make their march... And it was chaos after one of Kitanai's Samurai sounded the trutleshell trumpet. The Shogun drawed his sword, as did the other riders. He shouted a battlecry, echoed by everyone, and they rode and ran out like mad conquerors all the way to the palace, shouting his name in unnisson every now and then. The people of Lowight looked terrified at these warriors clad in strange armour, and decided it'd be a good idea to stay inside.
Eventually they arrived at the palace. The guards looked suspiciously at these riders, heavilly armed as if they were going to besiege the palace. Kitanai and his bodyguards dismounted, and the Nibu Wolves drew their swords, threatening to kill anyone stopping the Shogun's passage. The formed a circle around him as he walked through the palace, still with his helmet on. When they finally arrived at the meeting place, they entered before the Shogun, forming a barrier between him and however was in the room... namely the Queen Maidens. When he entered, the crouched, but kept ready to stand up at any time and kill any offenders. Between him and the queen stood Kenta, who was just delirious to have been asked to be his private bodyguard for the meeting.
Eslin:
Sinead’s face turned toward the large double doors that were the entrance. She heard footsteps outside. The doors opened and her Maidens filed into the room. They set up two lines, one on each side of her. They looked sharp dressed in their uniforms.
Sinead’s ears once again caught the sound of movement outside her doors. They once again swung open. This time Kitanai’s bodyguards came pouring through them. The Maidens stiffened. They would die protecting their Queen, and they had been trained to take someone down with them. The bodyguards looked outlandish. But she knew that there was no other fighting force like them. She needed them. She hated to need someone, but her sister had put her in an awkward position. She hoped that they were here for the reason she needed them.
The bodyguards glided into their positions. She was use to the suspicious scrutiny. They didn’t trust anyone around their Shogun, and she’d meet with him before. One of those times he’d declared independence. That had made her angry, but she was understanding. She smiled a broad warm, welcoming smile. She was going to try and keep this as peaceful as possible.
Everyone was in place now, and Kitanai was just now positioning himself in front of her with someone in-between them. “I hope you had a safe journey. And I welcome you to the kingdom of Ighhten. I hope you haven’t scared my people to badly,” she was going to have to give her people an assurance that the heathens weren’t besieging the city or kidnapping their Queen. “
If I may ask, what matter brought you from your homes to me?” she said in a smooth confident voice. She didn’t feel very confident. This could very well turn out to be just a pleasant visit. She hoped that they would take part in the war that was coming.
Zenmusha:
The Shogun nodded, and put a hand in Kenta's shoulder. "There won't be need for your protection, my boy. The Queen's not being spied on right now, and she's in a good mood today, so it's not like she'll smite us with lightning or somesuch." Kitanai teased. Kenta bowed before the Shogun, then the Queen, the walked to the line, drawing his sword as he crouched.
"I salute you, Honorable Queen Sinead of Ighten. We had a fine journey, thank you for your concern. I beg your apologies for not removing my helmet so that I can speak to you face to face, but... It came to me that spies have been making your palace their home, and it'd be unwise to let my features become known to them. The former generation of spies during the Queen Wars didn't succeed, and neither shall this one." His voice echoed through the room, the black steel mask adding it a mettalic sound.
"These are hard times you face, Queen Sinead. Arken readies itself for another war, and your forces are weak and outnumbered. It's only a matter of time before Shea succeeds in defeating you." He paused for a second, making sure his words sank in... And making the queen a bit irritated. "However, even if we are an independent kingdom, we rely on our trade agreements to maintain our civilized lifestyle." And with this, he indirectly meant that Ighten was barbarian... "Arken doesn't seem a good trading partner, all that wasteland produces is demons and brutes."
"We have also heard that they begin their war with an attack on the borders... Hence our presence here. We've came, on a gesture of good will to improve the relations between our two glorious nations, to defend with our lives the borderlands, and we shall let nothing make its way through."
Kitanai smiled under his mask. Guess things turned out alright. "And I beg you my apologies again for scaring your people. We tend to get restless inside a fortress palace, and so we let out the pressure on our rides."
Eslin:
Sinead smiled at Kitanai’s crude attempt of diplomacy. “I accept your salute. And I understand about not wanting the spies to know you. I wish that they would have never came here. I have a special servant working on that problem though. I'm proud to say that he’s already found a few, and they have been taken care of.”
Sinead’s face charged to irritation. “I’m so glad your willing to help us. I’m willing to say that we do need you help,” she became aware of the Maidens shifting.
She was glad; she just didn’t like the idea that he was only doing it for the trade. She let the though slid off though. Whatever it took. She would make sure the trade that went his way after this was better than ever.
Her smile came back to her face, “I’d like to thank you for the interest you’ve taken in helping. After all there isn’t a fighting force quite like yours. I give you leave to do anything necessary to protect my people and my home. Everything we have is at your use. I just don’t want you to wear out your welcome.
And as you know, if Ighten falls: you kingdom will quit prospering.” She knew that he wouldn't like to here that. It meant he depended on someone. She watched her words sink in.
“And don’t worry about my people. They will be grateful in the end. My hope is that our kingdoms will become lasting friends.”
Zenmusha:
The Nibu Wolves walked a few inches forward as the Maidens shifted, never stopping to stare at them. The Shogun groaned at them, what they understood to be his way of telling them to cool down.
"If your people is as friendly as you are beautiful, we won't have a problem. In fact, once this is all done, why don't you and your husband pass some time in my realm?" He bowed slightly, out of respect. "I thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul for your welcoming and your time, honorable Queen Sinead." He remebered something. "And I'd like you to offer this to someone you think worthy of wielding."
One of the Nibu Wolves got the idea, and marched to him, taking a sheathed katana in his hands, and offering it to the Shogun. It was beautiful to say the least. When he drew it, it's silvery blade filled the room with it's shine. The handguard was made of sapphire, and the handle of a metal simillar to gold, but many times more resistant. "This is Tenchuu, The Wrath of Heavens. It's only second in sharpness to my own blade, and it's been blessed so it can kill demons with only one strike, no matter how fatal." He walked to her, kneeling as he came close enough to hand it over. "May its shine forever symbolise our newfound friendship."
He walked a few steps back before turning his back on her and standing up. "We leave." His bodyguards immediatelly got up, formed a circle around him again, and left the room .
They were just outside the palace, when a pair of speedy girls came crashing against them. Fearing the worse, the Nibu Wolves grabbed the one still standing, and were about to cut her in half. "HOLD!!!" The Shogun demanded. He walked to them... One was still on the ground, looking scared.
Eslin:
Sinead watched Kitanai and his people walk out. She looked down at the katana. It really was beautiful. One of the most beautiful she’d seen. She felt honored he would do such a thing. Maybe she’d give it to Tenele for a gift on her journey.
She stood up and walked down the steps of her throne. She turned and faced her Maidens. Her smile shone with love. “I’d like to thank each and everyone of you for being here today. I don’t have anything else planned, so you may spend your time as you see fit.” She knew they all wouldn’t go. They always had at least two who never left her side.
She thought about all that had went on. It had gone exactly as she wanted it to. And she would work as hard as she could to see things stayed the way they were. And she would defiantly take him up on his offer to see his kingdom. It was nice of him to make such an offer.
She smiled at his compliments. They made up for his crude diplomacy; he really could sweet-talk someone. She glided out of the room noticing sounds of a commotion going out outside. The two Maidens trailed behind her like shadows.
Zenmusha:
The four Samurai arrived back at their camp after the feast was done. The other warriors bowed as they passed. "Hey, Kenta-kum, I noticed you were really friendly towards that Maiden." One of the Wolves spoke, and Kenta only shrugged. "Come on, give the man some time to clear his head. A lot happened today." The Shogun intervened in what might end up as a friendly brawl.
They went their separate ways as they approached the inner tents. Kitanai entered his, and changed to his more comfortable sleeping kimono. He laid down on his mat bed, placing his swords below the sheets. Somehow he had a feeling the next few days ther would be many assassination attempts...
Emora Deen:
Shea smiled and batted her eyes pleasantly as she rose and got the bottle and the cup and brought it back to him kneeling again to where she sat on her legs. She sat it before her she looked at him tilting her head slightly a soft smile coming to her gorgeous full lips.
"You seemed tense..." she said skillfully maneuvering around the question of how she got here. Would he sleep with her if she said she was Queen of Arken and came through a portal to seduce him? No, probably not. "I thought I might help... relax you, Kitanai-sama. My name is Megumi."
Zenmusha:
One could make an assumption that the Nibu Wolves decided to play a trick on him... What wasn't all that unlikely. But if he did so, he wouldn't be Shogun. A good amount of scrutiny was needed for the task. And he had quite a lot of it.
"Pleased to meet you, Megumi-chan. So, did my beloved servants decide to play a trick on me?" He sipped his cup, motioning for her to serve him again. "You know, I was really eager to find one like you tonight..." He examined his sake, then looked at her with a naughty expression.
"I've got the weirdest stories to tell you about the barbarians!" And so, he went on with a lengthy, xenophobous, biased description of the dinner... And was careful enough not to slip any part of relevant info.
Emora Deen:
Shea smiled and obeyed his wishes, not even minding if it meant she got what she wanted. She was starting to wish he'd hurry up and make love to her or something, she was used to all these men who couldn't wait...
"No," she said softly her eyes looking him over again. "I came of my own free will and it seems you've found some one like me... Now just what did you want with some one like me...." she was implying something more than just conversation and she was wondering if he was catching her drift and if she would take her bate. She had listened to the story of the feast...
Zenmusha:
"... and then, the crazy bloodsucker felt on the dinner table, and called that poor girl that I met the other day, dinner!" He laughed out loud, coughing a bit as he tried to regain control. "Hmmm..." He looked at the seductress, examining her carefully. His eyes drifted to the point where her hands stood, resting over her legs...
"You have the hands of a flute player. Please, delight my ears." He reached for a nearby bag, and offered her a neat bamboo flute.
Emora Deen:
Shea smiled... this could play to her advantage. She took the flute and put it behind her back for a moment, a hand went over it as she thought of her spell and she brought it around taking it and putting up to her full red lips, looking deep into his eyes.
She spelled it to where when he heard her soft music he wouldn't be as... resistant to her "methods." She began to play a soft tune, the inside person cackling as she could feel her magic, but he wouldn't be able to... she was to good of a sorceress for that to happen. She stopped playing after a few minutes. She leaned forward placing the flute on the ground and smiled at him. "Was that to your liking, Kitanai-sama." His name rolled off her tongue like she was purring it.
Zenmusha:
Kitanai had the feeling she was more than a simple geisha... And the music she played, even too perfect for one of her condition, was proof beyond any doubt. He grinned at her suggestion...
"Well, I can think of better things to do..." He reached for her, and grabbed her by the shoulders, pushing her lightly against the bed mat as to get an indication of her... response to his advance.
Positive. He undid her obi's belt, and began to caress her cheeks, passing through the back of her neck... Make-up, as he expected. "You know, I've never seen a geisha like you before. You truly are to your kind a break of HARMONY!!!!"
His Katana shot from its sheathe, and flew straight into his hand. It emmited a strong blueish glow, that filled the tent, and caused a few Nibu Wolves and other Samurai to pour in. "This Katana has the incantations to kill your kind. And I'm sturdy enough to resist your deadliest spell for just long enough to strike you down. Want to die, or retreat?"
Emora Deen:
Damn... she thought and sat up slightly, the obi coming open a little, but as Shea, the wonderful whore, could care. She through up her shields and casted a silent spell upon herself of stone skin where nothing could pierce her, it was the same one that she had learned as a child when Sinead was in her classes.
"Well, I'm not your ordinary geisha..." she said and began to laugh and her disguise melted away leaving her true more beautiful form and in her usual almost nothing clothing. "To bad, Shogun, I was looking forward to it... I wasn't planning on killing you or anything.... just a little..." she shrugged and smiled.
"Well... I guess... since you don't want to and all..." she grinned.
Zenmusha:
The Shogun smirked... "Well, I'm above befriending one's foe... Terribly sorry." The others grinned. "But, you know, there IS a guy in my army that's eager to become good friends with you."
As soon as he said that, one of his samurai left the tent, and returned less than a minute after with... A smelly, revolting peasant that had been conscripted into the army. He wore only rags... And his smile, that shown many a rotten teeth, clearly stated that he wanted to spend some time with the seductress queen.
"Yohei over there hasn't been with a woman for as long as he can remember. The only way you're getting out of here alive with our permission is to satisfy him. And..." He brought the blade closer to her skin, that sliced through her shield with only a slight hiss betraying it. "... This is a blade sharp enough to enforce my law."
Emora Deen:
Shea's eyes widened and she actually took on a disgusted expression. "I can see why he hasn't had a woman...." she said and smiled as she looked back to the Shogun. "Well... I do like my life..." she said and took on a thoughtful look.
"Do you mind..." she said pushing against the Shogun for a moment and she rose up. "Well, I'll need my privacy..." She swallowed hard as she stepped away from the men and walked towards the pig that had just walked in.
But as she started to walk towards the man she turned quickly towards the Shogun... "I'm afraid not even I can stoop this low, your highness. I was looking forward to having you... maybe some day I will." Then the purple portal opened underneath her and she dropped into it.
