Lore: On the Road to Vengeance...
"Right now?" she asked.
She laid back on the grass, her feet still in the cool water. Her ice blue eyes sparkled, reflecting the rising sun. Her silver hair even seemed to be glowing.
"Nothing," she said. "I'm just relaxing, taking a vacation, pretty much. Then, I'll start treveling again, find some business."
She then turned her head to face him and gave him a small smirk. "I'm an assassin," she said.

"Oh, not much. Just enough to survive. It really depends on how dirty I have play," she said, laughing lightly.
She noticed that Cainon had pretty eyes, but she didn't allow herself to get lost in them. She turned her head and looked at the water, seeing a few small fish swimming downstream.
"I also require that the person who hired me pay for hotel fees and food and things like that. But it really doesn't add up to be much at all. I'm a very flexible person, so I can manage sleeping outside hunting for my own meals if I need to."

Cainon had the money. His granfather had left him plenty after his death. The only thing was he didn't know if he wanted to hire her. She would be a great asset, but he wanted to do the killing himself. He had gotten rather good with his water magic, under the training of Viron, but that didn't help him in finding him or Lephidiles.
"Could you help me track someone down?" he finally asked after a few minutes of pondering the question. "I'll be willing to pay you well," he added.

Xhaila smiled at him. Tracking people down was the funnest part of her job. To her, at least.
"Sure, I could," she said, wondering who the person was and why Cainon wanted to track them down. "I'd like to know the details, though. As much as you can tell me, anyway."
She did need to know some details. That way, she could decide which place they should start looking, unless Cainon already knew where the person would be.

Cainon thought a moment before he answered,"My father was killed by a powerful warlock named Lephidiles. It happened in the Ashgrown Forest." He sighen at the rememberance of his father's death.
"I don't want you to kill him, I'll do that myself," hatred and revenge now filled his voice,"I just need you to help me track him down." He didn't really want to get her involved with the dealings of a warlock but he needed her help.
"I understand if you wouldn't want to help me track down a warlock," he said after a brief silence.

Xhaila listened with semi-vague interest as he spoke, her ice blue eyes glistening with understanding. The man had killed his father... She tried to imagine how she would feel if someone killed her father, the only family she had left. She completely understood him wanting to kill the warlock himself as well.
She nodded and shifted her legs into a more comfortable position, stretching them out in front of her while she pulled her arms behind her to keep her balanced. Her palms resting in the grass, she looked up at the sky for a moment then back at Cainon.
"Yeah, I can help you track him down," she said. "I've never tracked down a warlock before, but it's worth a try."
She smiled at him, showing him that she was quite hopeful. She really wanted to help him.

"No problem," she said, not exactly seeing much to it at all. She had helped many people before, and she got a lot of this same reaction. The outstanding gratefulness when they found someone willing to help them. She was pretty used to it.
She kind of wanted to get to know this guy, though. He seemed... different... for a reason she couldn't place why. She usually wasn't the type to get attached to anyone, but Cainon was... well, different.
"Tell me a little bit about yourself," she said, leaning back in the grass, resting her arms behind her head. "It's not a requirement." She laughed. "I just kinda want to know who you are."

He laughed a little. "Well I was born and raised in the Ashgrown forest. My father and grandfather raised me." he avoided going into too much detail about there death. "My father was killed when I was 12. My father took me to a friend. Well, he was supposed to be a friend. He killed my..." his voice trailed off as the horrid memory of his wife murder flooded his mind.
"That's enough about me. Tell me a little about you?" he asked after he cleared his thoughts.

Xhaila noticed how he didn't finish his story, but she decided not to ask him about it. It seemed to bother him.
"Well," she said, "My mother died when I was very young. I was an only child, so my father was the only one I had left. I was daddy's little girl." She laughed lightly at herself before she continued. "He taught me how to use a sword. He was also an assassin, and I had always wanted to be just like him. So, here I am, the person I had always wanted to be."
A soft smile formed on her face as she turned her head to look at Cainon. "My favorite childhood memories are swordfighting with my father," she said. "That's why I really want to help you. I can't imagine how I would feel if my father was murdered."
