Vlad smirked as the priest's expression grew threatening. Olin raised a hand up as if to incant something, but Vlad simply dropped the man's hat onto his threatening hand and turned away indifferently. "I trust that since you've now seen us, we can retire for the evening," he said dismissively to the priest.
'I'll have you speak with me again later, a mental voice spoke strictly into Vlad's head.
The vampire simply shot the priest an amused smirk and proceeded to descend the steps with the others.

Kaze blinked at Vlad's behavior. He seemed so cocky and confident of himself, and he is an asshole. And yet... Kaze mentally slapped herself. Her scanning the room for any sign of her attacker was stressing herself out and her mind had unconciously moved to a different subject. She shook her head to clear her thoughts. There seemed to be nothing unusual in the place... maybe she was safe here...

Shinobu was glad to be going back to Kyosuke. She wanted to watch over him and make sure he had everything he needed... When she arrived back to where they had first been brought to she immediately went to the samurai’s side and knelt down. She observed his eyes fluttering and wondered if he would wake soon.
“Please wake up…” she whispered.
“Please wake up…” she whispered.
Inside the darkness, Kyosuke struggled to wake himself. He only needed one last push of will power to do it. Through the darkness, a single whispered voice cut through. Shinobu's "Please wake up..." was it.
His eyes opened. Focusing themselves in the dim candlelight of the infirmary, he blinked them a few times to see Shinobu. "Shinobu?" he rhetorically asked.

Kaze streched her arms over her head then stared at the ruby floating in her staff's cresent moon. She was becoming bored with this place, and the urgency to get out again was making her seriously think over the fact of going to the stables to find Kami.
'Ah... they better be treating my horse well.' Kaze thought proudly.

Briena was glad to be away from that priest. She made a mental note to avoid musty old priest and their temples of light in her future. It was time for her to get out of this place, the sooner the better. She wondered where Shinobu was. She had to stay close to her. There was no telling when her chance would come. She fingered a small item deep inside her cloak and set out in search of Shinobu.

Talon looked around as his stomach growled. "I'm getting rather hungry," he said, leaning against the wall with his arms folded.
"I am too..." Shinobu said and smiled softly at Kyosuke. "Food will help you get your blood back... I'll go see if I can have a priest bring us something... I'm sure they won't mind..."
Shinobu walked towards the door, feeling very safe and comfortable in the temple of priests. She opened it up, looking behind her at her newly awakened bodyguard, smiling warmly to him before closing the infirmary door behind him.

Briena heard a door shut. She turned to see the very person she was looking for. If she'd been religious she would have thanked a god for her luck. She wasn’t religious though, and she knew that this might be a small opening; one she wouldn’t dare miss. It might be the only chance she’d get. Shinobu was alone. She walked up to her with a warm smile. "Hello, Lady Shinobu. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Shinobu smiled at her warmly. "I'm just off to see where I can get some food... Kyosuke just woke up and he needs something to eat. It will help him regain the blood he lost... Not to mention our fearless leader is hungry too. If your feeling a bit famished you could wait here and I'll bring you back something. Unless you can't wait then I see no problem with you coming along."
Briena almost quit listening when she heard that Kyosuke was awake. That was awful news. She hid her shock well though, “It’s good to hear that Kyosuke’s ok. I was worried he wasn’t going to make it there for a while.” The lie did sound any different from the truth.
Briena’s mind kicked in to killer mode, and she became a whole different person. Her whole demeanor changed so that she wouldn’t give her prey any hint of what she planned. If Kyosuke was awake this might be her last chance to kill Shinobu. All this happened within seconds.
Briena laughed, “We wouldn’t want our fearless leader to go hungry for too long, now would we. I’m not that hungry, but you know, I’m so bored, would you mind if I went with you to get the food?”

OOC: It's fine.
IC:
Briena smiled. "Thank you. Do you have any idea of where we'll find the food at?" She kept a keen eye on her surroundings, watching for a good place to kill Shinobu. She waned to get as far away from the others as she could. She rubbed her cloak where the item was. She didn't want to use it, but she saw no other way. She hoped she would be gone in under an hour. Her focus came back to Shinobu. She tried to keep the conversation going. She left no hints for Shinobu to suspect what was about to take place.
