Laya put her hand on Telanis's arms comfortingly, though she didn't know how much good she could do. She squeezed his arm gently and looked back at Adonis.
She found it odd that he would suddenly appear in Lowight... and suddenly want to by a ticket on a boat. Maybe he was tailing them...
Being with Kron had made her paranoid to things like this... and her mind couldn't get off of it. She guessed she would find out if he got on the same boat as them...
For a moment she felt that same dizzy feeling come over her. Her fever made her feel a chill and she shivered with it for a moment until it passed.

Telanis tried to focus on Kratos's voice, coming out of his thoughts with an effort and following him out the door. He looked back over his shoulder at his brother, who was talking calmly with the man at the counter, for a moment before the door fell closed behind them. He looked around at the boats; their names were printed across their sterns, but he couldn't read.

Kratos looked around for the boat Hokufuu. He eventually found it and otioned for the group to keep coming. He waved to the shipmaster who was just about to close up the ship.
"Late ones eh?" said the gruff, yet gentle looking shipmaster. Kratos smiled and bowed low. The shipmaster relowered the bridge and Kratos lead the group onto the ship.
"Nice ship you have here sir." he commented as he presented the man his ticket and received a room number in return.
"My finest built." the shipmaster said with pride. Neko looked around the ship, slightly cringing from the last time she was on one, but this looked in better condition and less threatening. "Don't worry gal, nuthin' will bite you." He smiled charmingly at Neko and Neko blushed back. Her weakness for cute men playing in as she shyly handed him her ticket.
When they all handed in their tickets and received their room numbers, the shipmaster welcomed them aboard.
"Welcome aboard Hokufuu!! Your rooms are down below. The numbers you have now are them. Quickly now, we'll be shovin' off soon. Dinner will be served at sundown in the gally. Buffet style."

Laya looked up at the ship and at the man telling them to come aboard. It seemed nice enough... and it was a passanger ship... She shook her head, since when did she become afraid of ships and there crew? The crew on board the ship she had been on with Kron had not bothered her... Except for that once boy who spied on them when she... finally gave in.
Kron had killed him...
She shook her head, shaking the memory from her thoughts as she looked over the side and at the murky water bellow. This wouldn't be so bad.... she had trust worthy friends to spend her time with... None of them had betrayed her.
She looked down at her ticket... It said at the bottom a room number.
Would she have a room of her own? Or would she be bunking with someone? She figured it was a room of her own... That was alright, she would be alone and in privacy.

Tetsumaru decided to stay above deck. His bouts of senility were starting to get worse and worse. By now, he no longer remembered his name, but chose not to speak about it to the others, not sure which ones he knew. For all he knew, he was actually amongst enemies who were taking advantage of his current state.

Laya looked at Tetsumaru and wondered what his expression could mean. She walked towards him and tilted her head. "Sir Tetsumaru? Would you like to go find your room so you can rest?"
She turned to one of the people on deck and held out her ticket. "Please, could you show me where this room is?" she asked softly, and a bit shy because she didn't like talking to strange people any more... Used to she would have held full conversations with people she didn't know.

(OOC: Oops, was everyone waiting on me again? I've been waiting on everyone else to advance further so to find a place to kill Tetsu off.)
Tetsumaru shook his head. "I amu fain saankyuu," the samurai replied. "I wirru sutay a ritturu bitsu longa beforu I go in." Of course, the whole time Tetsumaru's paranoia was building. He couldn't trust this woman he was talking to. Nor could he trust anyone else on this boat. He began to work out a plan to escape, one which kept slipping his mind every time he made it.

Telanis looked around the narrow hall that led to their rooms in wonder. He had never been on a ship, though he had seen them from the shore when he ventured there. The ground beneath him seemed to keep moving, and he had to focus to remain balanced on his still-unfamiliar human legs. He looked into the tiny room designated to him. He'd hoped it would have a window like the small square portals he'd seen on the side of the ship, but of course, since they'd bought their tickets last, they hadn't been able to get porthole rooms.
"Let's explore the deck," he said to the others cheerfully, eager to be back in a more open environment.

Laya looked towards Telanis and smirked tiredly. "To the deck it is," she said, not wanting to be down in the small space either. She wanted to enjoy the fresh air while it lasted.
Soon she would be back in the tiny room for the night. But, that wasn't so bad. She wasn't a prisioner or a slave confined to the room.
Though, she hadn't really been confined to the room with Kron. She asked him if she could go up on deck and he took her. He gave her what she asked, except for her freedom and... for him not to touch her.
Laya turned and headed for the exit onto the deck.
