"What can I do?" Mayn asked a bit too eagerly, clutching her mirror to her chest. Besides teleportation and the ability to levitate, she was also capable of firing magical arrows that left excruciating burns that could bore straight through human flesh and out the other side, and could produce a light defensive shield around herself when her concentration was not interrupted.
Siren walked back into the room to find Soran and Mizuki returned. She had left the porch when Rai's game had ended, since Blade was fussing.
She recognized that something was odd when she looked at them, but couldn't place it untill she noticed their hands clasped together. She grinned teasingly.
"You left me with the runt to go have fun together, and of course you return after the stinky diaper has been changed."
Siren held blade up, propping him securely on her shoulder, well in the mother's view.
"The little runt tried to de-feather me! Honestly, he's learning bad things with you guys!" she joked.

Jhaptal stopped and thought about the young girl's role in the attack would be. While he was doing so, he began to strap on some extra equipment. He had hidden it there earlier on and now he recovered his shruriken and everything else he had. "As I said before, it would be easier if Nightblade left on his own will. Since his companions are now his weak point, a display of power may serve to lure him, for he will not want them harmed," the ninja started saying. He started searching through his memories for the abilities the girl had. "Your arrows will be of much use here We should harm the others enough so that they would have a hard time following us, if they were able to at all. The death of any of his companions will only serve to anger him and have him resist us however, so be careful."
Mizuki blinked and turned around. She pinked slightly and took Blade out of Siren's arms. "S-sorry.." she said embarassed.
Blade cooed and nuzzled his face into Mizuki's chest. He was hungry. "I-I'll be back shortly." she said and glanced at Soran. She then hurried inside and upstiars to her room for privacy to feed her son.

Soran watched Mizuki leave the room and then turned back to Siren, only to find her smirking at him. He glared at her indignantly, but ultimately said, "It seems you were right," a trace of pride in his voice. He looked down at Rai and ruffled his hand in her hair. "You were playing with Tensho, eh? And where is he now?" he said, suspecting that their houseguest had been terrorized, and finding it quite amusing.

Rai smiled when Soran ruffled her hair and she looked around. "He went off in the forest, I think..." she said looking around. There was no sign of him so she guessed thats where he went.
Rai yawned dispite herself and swung her feet back and forth off the side of the porch as she hummed a soft tune.

Blade cooed at the blob on Mizuki's shoulder. The blob stared with interest at the winged baby. He had finished feeding and Mizuki was currently trying to put him down to bed but he wasn't admitting to it. She sighed and glared at the blob.
"You're not helping," she accused it and took Blade back up in her arms and went back down to the others. They were still outside. "Why don't you all come in? Can't imagine it being too warm out there." She smiled softly. "He'll come back." she told Rai.

"Yeah, obviously," Siren said, sharing what she assumed was a knowing smile with Mizuki. She found Soran's interpretations and familiarity with magic hillarious.
She sat perched on the armrest of the couch.
"Maybe there's someone in the city who is familiar with this sort of... being," she said for lack of a better word for the blob, "that we could ask."

From across the yard from where Rai sat, standing on the other side of the street off towards the forest, Mayn was walking along. Her demeanor was casual and playful, skipping every few steps and apparently oblivious to the fact that it was dark out. She paused in front of the house, and looked over at Rai sitting on the porch, Soran beside her. She made an inviting wave toward Rai, giggling and throwing her hand way over her head in an exaggerated greeting.
