"So it would seem," Soran replied with some disapproval, looking over to Blade and Mizuki as the half elf moved to prepared food for Rai. He wasn't sure what to do about that title, but it disconcerted him despite his attempts to somehow embrace it.
Myne grinned as she saw Jhaptal leave the house and step out inconspicuously into the woods. Of course, she knew of him, though he was a level above her in the food chain of Reya's servants, and in a different class, being one of the few fighters she kept on call while her own talents lay with magic. She eyed Reya's pet bodyguard competitively as he walked by, following him secretively by teleporting from place to place until she finally appeared in front of him in the privacy of the woods.
"Greetings. I suppose you noticed me already," she said sweetly to Jhaptal, who was a good foot and a half taller than her.

Jhaptal slipped off the emotional mask he had used to gain the trust of Soran and his friends. "Are you here to assist me?" he asked the sorceress. "I believe you are known as Myne, correct?" Jhaptal had made it a point to memorize some of the basic details of all the notable servants under Reya, and the one standing in front of him was noteable enough, because of her age and skill level.
Smiling, Mizuki took up Blade in her arms again and moved for the stairs. She gave Soran a charming smile as she walked by. A certain memory flashed through her mind and caused her to blush. She paused slightly and considered something. Her heart pounding in her chest...
Was she still that young and foolish? Did she not trully learned from all the past experiences? Something may have taken place but... that may have just been a moment. Her hesitation ended there, she took up her pace again and continued for the stairs. Why did doubt always fill her mind?

"Right," Myne said proudly to Jhaptal. "I was sent here to assist you in capturing your target and to transport you both back to Miss Reya's compound this evening. " She held her mirror with one hand and played with a strand of her hair with the other as she spoke, watching Jhaptal with keen brown eyes. Her gaze held an odd combination of respect and fiestiness toward Reya's superior servant.
Soran's eyes followed Mizuki as she passed him with what seemed like an odd expression and headed for the stairs. Thwarting an unexplained urge to follow her, he stood in place looking conflicted for a moment before turning away.

Mayn grinned excitedly at this bit of information, seeming to glow as Jhaptal indicated that she was to be included in the night's festivities. "I can help!" she exclaimed, so thrilled that she'd been treated as an equal that her childish side began to show through.
Meanwhile, Soran stepped out of the house to straighten his thoughts for a while, walking into town to a tavern where the familiar haze of smoke and noise hit him as soon as he walked in. Sitting down at the bar, he ordered a whiskey, which soon slid to him on the counter. Looking unreadably into the amber liquid, he carefully reworked his thoughts.

Jhaptal nodded in response. "Of course you can help, Lady Reya would not have sent you here if you couldn't," he responded. "However, please do not act this... young when we commence the attack. Intimidation is a factor that will be needed." This was said without even a hint of criticism in his voice. To the ninja, it was just a comment.
The sun was starting to lose its potency and Siren felt at least a bit dryer from the air and marginal sunlight, so she got up. She had seen Soran wander off a while ago, and the others were going about their business as well, so Siren decided to go out for a short flight before dinner.
She lept into the air and paused for a moment twenty feet off the ground.
"I haven't really explored the city yet," she noted to herself, "I guess I'll go take a look and get more familiar."
She flew off over the city, watching the people scurry about, high enough that to them she might only look like a large bird on a casual glance. The wind felt wonderful rushing through her feathers, furthering the drying process of her still damp clothing.

Mizuki ended up fallen asleep nnext to her son on the bed after changing him back into his clothes. She just suddenly got very sleepy, and it never crossed her mind that maybe there was another kind of evil around, chasing them.
The ring that was now on her nightstand was just a ring, but there was something else. The Dark Magic from before, that had been plaguing them for a time, reappeared in a ... somewhat solid form. It was like a black jelly mass; a small blob of darkness. It was, in a way, Darkness personified. Given a form by Mizuki's inherited seer powers as they had mingle for a time with the Dark Magic from the rose Mizuki had crushed.
It was relativly harmless. Just a small blob of Dark Magic that could do no harm, besides causing minor bad luck. It finally emerged from the depths of Mizuki's mind and stared at its surroundings on the pillow. It was odd, having an existence. It didn't know how to respond at first. Its coming about could barely be explained either, in full depth anyway.
For now, as it contemplated its new life, it sat besides Mizuki's head as she slowly came back to conciousness.
OOC: Such an odd post, sorry. I've just wanted to created this lil' guy for a while now..

One moment Rai was eating and the next moment she was done, but no one was around.
Rai frowned, putting her plate in the wash tub, almost breaking it.
She turned around in circles in the room, but didn't hear anybody or see anybody. She went outside and looked around, not going anywhere near the mean ants. She decided to explore along the river and began following a trail that went along side it.
She skipped and danced around in circles, but tried not to wonder to far off from the house. Though it was hard because she just kept finding interesting things along the shore of the river.
She began to hum her pirate tune, following the path to the gods only knew where.

Siren glanced over the buildings, finding that the city was nicer than she had first interpreted it, albeit very old. One thing in particular, a large stone fountain in what appeared to be the town square, caught her attention. Dropping down, startling a few of the people, to get a better look at it, she wondered if Mizuki and Rai knew it was there, sure that they would enjoy it's sight as much as she did.
She flew up high again and headed home, minding the sun's decent and wanting to tell them about her discovery.

Mizuki groaned and sat up in bed. 'I fell asleep?' she thought and looked around. Blade was sleeping next to her, and there was a faint squeeking sound coming from under her...
"Wha--?" she looked down and noticed a small blob of...blackness, on her pillow. "Uhhh..." She didn't know what to make of it, but it didn't feel threatening. "Er, Hello there...?"
It squeaked in responce. She continued to stare in awe at it until she finally decided Soran needed to know about it.
"Do you mind?" she said and held out her palm for it to climb on. The blob leaned over and there was a sound like someone sniffing, then, as if it determind that she was safe, it 'crawled' onto her palm. She put on her baby sling and slipped Blade inside of it. With the blob thing in hand she searched the house for Soran. She couldn't evevn find Rai!
"Oh crap..." she mummbled and hurried about the outside of the house trying to find her. "Rai! Soran!?"
