Yuuna was surprised, "Won't age?" She said her eyes wide open, "But that isn't possible, that it isn't unless it was.." 'What kind of person would do that to someone, no doibt someone evil in nature.'
"Do you age Sennyo or is the curse just on her?" Yuuna doubted that it was just on Skye.

"It's just on her." Sen explained, he finished unwrapping her bandages. "It;s why we had to decieved the Lord and his daughter back at the party, we needed money but I had a sister to protect and couldn't leave her for jobs. I can't risk leaving her own. She's too vunerable like that." Skye knew what he meant by that and stuck her tounge at him. Sen ignored her.

"So I see." The shock faded from her eyes and she closed them.

"If you want to hear my tale, then you should prepare to hear what sounds impossible." Yuuna sighed then started.

"Almost a hundred and three years ago my village was attaked by an evil. My village was small and only a few priestess's and travelers visited. That evil destroyed my town, my parents then came after me. The priestess that happened to be visiting that town contained the evil in some object." Yuuna took a breath of fear and went on, "But that object was stolen and the evil escaped. It sought a host for the longest time surviving in animals until it came apon me. It took over my body, that priestess had taken me in as her 'daughter' when my parents died. So when 'I' went home, the priestess knew something was wrong. When she figured it out, she sealed that evil inside of me with the symbols on my arm." She turned her arm over, "After that I was trained to become a preistess to keep the evil contained, but things have been going on these last few years that have weakened the spell, she ony took over for a short while. I call the person inside me Nateme, the hates me and wants to cause me as much pain as possible. So she decided to kill Jayden and Layla, that's when I took over."

Yuuna sighed both relief and grief.

Sen and Skye listened with practiced indifference, well, Skye did and Sen watched Yuuna in amazment. He looked at her arms and the inscriptions on them. It was crazy, but then, so is what happened to them.

"Like a split personality?" Sen questioned. He was curious. "Is there a way to be rid of it? That's is why me and my sister have been traveling. To find the mage who did it to her and get him to reverse it."

"That'll be hard Sen, since he hates you." SKye taunted him with an emotionless tone. It wasn't as though she really blamed Sen for having this happen, she blamed the mage who decided to punish her instead of her brother.

"There is.. only one way and that way is terribly painfu and difficult." Yuuna raised her arm to read the seal for the first time in a hundred years. It read, "Sealed (in) the depths (of this) Soul." (OOC:The words in theses things () are implied. Arigato.)

"Yes I guess it is like a split personality if you look at it. But the quest to get rid of her could end up taking my life and she'd have control forever. I really don't want to take such a huge chance. But in Skye's case if the curse was lifted from her she would almost grow to the apperence of a teenage human or older. Or she would grow slowly with time and in about a hundred years she would look like a teenager." Yuuna wanted to laugh at this for some reason but didn't.

"Are you both, full elven? As you have probibly seen, I am half elven and I won't live as long as you two. I'll die when I turn 1000 or so years old. That is if I don't get myself killed in battle or something. Or if I don't do something more to seal away Nateme."

During Yuuna's story, Layla had walked over to her and sat next to her. She wrapped her arms around her, even when she said the part about her 'other half' wanting to kill her and Jayden. She knew Yuuna would never do that, and had trouble believing it.

Jayden listened attentively. She tried to picture Yuuna killing them, but she couldn't. It was ahrd to imagine that they could both be dead by now. That the only reason they were alive was because Yuuna cared for them so much, that she took back over her own body over the evil that had wanted to kill them. It must had been frightening and hard.

"Yuuna..." Layla said. "Do me and Jayden have to leave so Nateme will leave you alone?" Her voice was full of grief, but also with care. When she finished saying this, tears streamed down her face. She hid her face, so no one could see her crying, but you could still hear her.

"Yes." Sen replied then looked at Jayden. She was so sad, obviously she didn't want to leave her friend. Sen looked to Skye at loss, she just shruged and turned her attention back to Sparks. She wasn't much for new people.

Yuuna was surprised at thr thought of this girl. In Yuuna's eyes Layla was still a little girl nowhere near 'of age'. Yuuna looked at Layla and said, "I'm afraid that if you go away Natame might gain enough power through my lonelyness to take control completely. But if you stay she may try to kill you again. It's so difficult." Yuuna looked at Sen and blushed a little. She almost wished that she were married to someone like him at that moment. She didn't know why she thought that, she just did.

Yuuna turned the symbols on her arm away from her vision. "I would like to think for a while and rest before we go anywhere. I would like to help you find this mage Skye. Even if he/she doesn't take the curse away, I want to find out what kind of person that mage is." Yuuna told them then looked at the ceiling of the cave.

Jayden made her way to where Yuuna and Layla were. As she wrapped her arms around Layla, she whispered in her ear, "Don't blame yourself, Layla. It's not your fault. It's no one's fault but Nateme's."

Layla nodded her head and wiped away some of the tears. "Yuuna, you wouldn't be alone... You'd have Sennyo and Skye. You...don't need us. I don't want Nateme to take over. Even if it means me getting killed or leaving or anything. It's not fair what she does to you..."

Yuuna surprised to hear this sat up and took the girls in her arms. Yuuna began to cry immediatly. "Please, please don't go. I'll be all alone again. I can't promise that she won't take control but I wouldn't let her hurt you even if it takes my life, I promise I won't let her. Please, just please don't go or you'll be the second thing I've lost that's dear to me."

Sen grew uncomfortable. He never knew what to do when girl's started crying. Let alone the grown up ones. Uncertainly, he raise his hand and patted Yuuna's head gently.

"It'll be alright you girls." he tried to comfort them. "That evil couldn't hurt me, or Skye. I'm too good of a fighter to let anything hurt my friends!" Sen gave the crying girls a warm smile.

Layla buried her face into Yuuna's shoulder. Jayden, as always, stood where she was and said nothing. A few tears rolled down her cheek. Yuuna loved them so much, and Layla loved her. A warm smile formed across her face.

"Yuuna," Layla cried, "I won't leave if you don't want me to." She looked at Sen. "I think you're a good fighter, Sen. You won't let anything happen to us, will you?" A smiled a little, her eyes shining with hope.

"Thank you." Yuuna said outloud to both Sennyo and Layla. Yuuna felt as if she were lead again and layed down. Her strength was slowly returning but she had been so frantic that she had used up all her energy hugging Layla and begging her not to go.

"Sennyo." Yuuna said outloud, "Can you rewrap my arm in fresh bandages?" Yuuna blushed at the request though she didn't know why exactly.

Sen nodded. "Of course."

"You lay down and rest." SKye said, a stern look of a mother on her face. "You're exhausted, I can tell." Sen smirked to himself at his sister. He rummaged through his bags to find some fresh bandages and began wrapping up Yuuna's arms.

Layla's bright and charming smile returned to her face as she said, "So, what are we gonna do? Are we just gonna sit here and be bored, or are we gonna do something fun?"

"Layla," Jayden said, "You can't be serious. After what just happened?"

"Oh...Oh, yeah." She giggled. "But I bet Sen can teach me how to fight one of those weird creatures. Could you teach me how to fight, Sen?"
