"Eeew," Layla commented on Sen skinning the rabbits. As she watched the rabbit's blood go everywhere, she tilted her head and made a face. "Poor bunny..." It didn't make either her or Jayden sick at all.

Jayden didn't say anything; she was still half asleep.

Yuuna looked away, towards the entrence of the cave, she began walking towards the entrence of the cave. She never really understood why people hunted, she didn't perticularly like eating meat, but would indulge only when she absolutly needed to.

Yuuna sat down at the entrence and watched the few snowflakes that fell through the trees wishing that she knew if there were a hotspring or something near by. She listened to the few creatures that actually roamed around in the winter. She picked up a handful of snow and threw it up in the air. It landed on her hair and quickly melted on her face and arm.

Sen finished skinning and cleaning and preparing the rabbits. He put them on the spit over the fire Skye had started and let them cook there. The bird he plucked and stripped it's meat into thin strips, and store them away in preserves.

Skye watched the fire and the meat cooking over it. Sparks looked over to Yuuna and scampered over to her. He sat next to her feet and sniffed her ankles. Tickling her with his whiskers.

Yuuna petted Sparks on the head without looking at it. Yuuna turned around and asked again, "Is there a place where we can take a bath here?" She could smell the meat on the fire, it kind of reminded her of her father before he died. He really knew how to cook very well but he liked to cook meat, which Yuuna believed was a waste of talent.

Yuuna's stomach growled loudly. She got up and walked over to her bag still awaiting an answer, pulled out fruit and began to eat it.

Skye pointed up above them. "There are hot springs over the cave and a ways down. If you climb to the top, which isn't too bad, then walk down towards what would be the back, they'll be at the bottom of the hollow little hill." Skye smile softly at Yuuna. "The hot springs are worth the effort."

Jayden was fullt awake now. Layla became bored, so she tried to get Sparks' attention.

"Come here, Sparks!" she said, her eyes flashing with amusement.

Jayden got up, stretched, and walked over towards Sen and Skye. "Morning," she managed to say.

"I thank you." Yuuna said bowing. She picked up her bag and headed in the direction that Skye had pointed out for her. Yuuna's toes were a little cold that early in the morning and since the ground wasn't perticularly warm, she hurried along. She finally reached the hot springs, there were two of them by the looks of it. It was very warm in that area, so she undressed and climbed in the water.

Yuuna stubbed her toe a little getting in the hotspring but when she was finally immersed in the warm water, she was happy. Yuuna wasn't one to be paranoid but she almost felt as if she were being watched, she dismissed it as her imagination and closed her eyes.

Sparks looked over to Layla and scampered over to her. He lifted himself up on his haunches and sniffed her.

Layla giggled at him. "Whatcha sniffin, Sparks? Do I smell good?" She started to pet him and scartch his back.

Jayden sat down next to Skye, not saying a word. She was wondering when Yuuna was going to get back so Sena and Skye could 'explain themselves.' She was a little curious herself, but she felt that they had a very good reason behinf their actions.

Yuuna felt something above her, she opened her eyes and screamed. There was someone or something staring down at her. Whatever it was grabbed her shoulder and began to lift her out of the water. She reached up and smacked whatever it was as hard as she could.

She heard an 'oof' and the thing released her, "You bitch" it growled and disappeared. Yuuna scrambled out of the water and threw on her robe. She ran along the ground back in the direction of the others, bag in hand. She tripped over stones or branches or something and hit the ground.

The thing swooped down and tried to cut her head off. She only dodged it because she fell. Yuuna pulled a dagger out of her bag and slashed it at the thing. A hit, just barely though, it screamed in pain as a small slit opened on it's leg. It flew into the shadows, Yuuna got up and ran again; whatever it was bled leaving drops to streaks of blood everywhere it flew or bumped. Yuuna ran on hoping someone would come to help her, she had small cuts on her shoulder where she was grabbed.

Sparks sniffed Layla's face until he picked up the scent of blood in the air. He chittered angrily. Skye picked up his chitters then ran outside with Sen at her heels.

"Somethings wrong!" she said readily.

"Where is it!?" Sen yelled, thinking that there was danger before them. Skye ran after Sparks who followed thescent of blood and ended up running into a bleeding Yuuna.

"Get inside. Quick." she said and helped Yuuna along hurriedly. Sen stood outside the cave, a dagger ready in his hand while Skye tended to Yuuna.

Layla panicked, "What's going on? Is Yuuna in trouble?"

Jayden walked towards her and wrapped her arms around her. "I don't know, but don't you worry. Yuuna is smart and brave. She can take care of herself. And now, Sen and Skye are going to help her. We should stay here and not get in the way."

"No! I have to see if Yuuna's all right!"

"Layla!" Jayden locked her in her arms, so she couldn't get away. Layla struggled against her, just beginning to cry.

"Jayden, I think Yuuna is in trouble!"

"Calm down! Everything is going to be fine!"

The thing had been following close behind Yuuna. When it saw Sen and his dagger, it swooped down, claws out, aiming for Sen's neck.

Yuuna almost collapsed when Sen found her. Yuuna leaned against Skye's shoulder rather tired but she got inside quickly. Yuuna's shoulder had five slits in it where she was grabbed by the thing that attacked her. Four on the front of her shoulder one on the back, her knuckles were also scratched.

Yuuna looked back at the thing that was swooping down to attack Sen, she saw the face only, like a bat with cat eyes and pointed ears, white skin and pearly fangs. It was hideous and yet familiar at the same time to Yuuna. She had never seen anything like that before, that she could remember anyway.

Jayden let Layla go when Yuuna entered the cave. Layla ran to her, but Jayden calmly walked over there.

"Yuuna! Are you all right? What happened? Is Sen going to kick its ass?"

"LAYLA!!!" Jayden scolded.

"Um...whatever."

"I don't know. It.. was rather strong..." Yuuna's eyes filled with tears. She felt an odd feeling inside of her, her hair stared to turn a black color. But then it faded out back to silver. She fell unconscience, but that was when her hair quickly turned black.

Yuuna opened her eyes, which were black as well, adjusted her robe grabbed Layla's staff and ran outside....
