Japanese food.

Japanese food is good but I can't find a place that sells the stuff I need. Mostly seaweed and Dashi, seaweed stock, and stuff from Japan. Can anyone tell me where to find that stuff offline.

I don't know exactly where you live, but if you're in NJ, my favorite place is the Mitsuwa market in edgewater. Here's their contact info and address: http://www.mitsuwa.com/

There is also a good asian market in Holmdel, but I don't know the name, although I could give you directions. It's not as big as Mitsuwa (Mitsuwa is, literally, a Japanese mall, with a Japanese foodcourt, a Japanese book store, general store, travel agency, and ACME-sized grocer.) It's worth the hour and a half outing from my house.

By the way, Amenat, I know this is a minor issue but this is the third time we've asked you to post chat threads in the chat section and not the outtakes section. Please try to post in the correct places - it would be silly to have to temp ban you for something this dumb.

There's another good one in NJ too. Called Kamakura (hope I spelled it right). My friends and I went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. The place was awesome!! We all ate with chopsticks successfully (besides Nikki aka Tora remember her?) lol, it was funny. Our feet dangled in the pit under the table, our shoes were off and everything! We had a nice veiw of their garden too!

We have trees, too. Well, not anymore. Katrina took out all our trees. One landed on two of our cows. *sniff*

It's okay. I was just disaponted a tree didn't land on our chicken house. I HATE chickens unless they're on my sandwhich. My chickens started eating dog food the other day, and they growl at me now. They surround me in MY OWN BACKYARD and GROWL at me! I'm guessing it's the dogfood? (o_o)

Just kind of Meagan. Sushi is good but not after it sits in the store for WEEKS. Geez what ARE they thinking? Sushi is eaten fresh, not after it's been sitting awhile. Oh I know the difference between store-bought and fresh 'cause I have tasted both and I must say I prefer fresh. Me, my mom and my cousin went to a Asian BBQ place, they had freshly made sushi and wasabi, but I'm too timid to try wasabi. ^_^' Also I don't eat seafood so choosing the right sushi at that resteraunt was hard...

Heirot should offer sushi...Soran will agree with that. Why can't Heirot offer sushi?! It's not fair! All it offers it conversations about sushi, and I'm getting hungry! And I just ate, too!

I just saw a psychiatrist today, and I've been really hungry since then. (don't know why. the smell of her office just made me hungry.) If I hear anyone say, "And how does that make you feel?", I'm going to explode....and be hungry. I've already heard it 50 times today! >.<
