Re: Desert Moon
Tenele smiled up at Knight as she settled back into the tub. She tapped the opposite edge with her foot. "There is room for two," she whispered, slipping down into the water until it came over her lips and up to her nose so she could hide the mischievous smile. She sat up after a minute. "Did talks with Talon go well? How long do we have?"

Re: Desert Moon
Knight smiled at her invitation. "We have an hour. He wants to set up a route for the reptilians to reach Hajara. But I fear an hour will not be nearly enough if you allow me in that tub with you." His low voice was gentle, but carried a subtle warning.

Re: Desert Moon
Tenele smiled at him, tilting her head to rest against the curved lip of the tub. "Then, give him two," she replied. Het heart fluttered, wondering if he would turn down this advance too. Three years of calling him and they hadn't been together again since that first night. She'd wondered silently if maybe he didn't desire her anymore. Maybe she could please Vlad and Atul sperately, but not together? She waited quietly for acceptance or rejection.

Re: Desert Moon
Knight straightened up at her request, peering at her with deep, mismatched eyes. "If I may," he purred. He set the cloth back on the edge of the tub and turned his hands instead to the task of slowly unbuttoning his closely tailored tunic. The black fabric parted over warm almond skin until the garment dropped to the floor behind him. He stood up, glancing to study her reaction as his fingers went to his belt. He freed himself with patient care, making a subtle show out of every small movement of his lean body.
His interest was not hidden from her as he stepped into the empty end of the tub with her. He knelt gracefully until the shallow water covered his highly attentive body with at least some discretion. "Tenele," he murmured, leaning in on his hands and knees over her until his lips nearly brushed hers. "I have missed you."

Re: Desert Moon
Her heart swelled with joy, and it spread in the smile she wore. She felt her eyes grow misty at the relief she felt at not being rejected by him again. "I have missed you," she whispered back to him, reaching a wet hand up to stroke gently across his face. She kissed him, slipping her hand from his face and over his shoulder so that her arm could hook around his neck.

Re: Desert Moon
Knight hummed softly at her caress. He melded his lips to hers and kissed her in slow ecstasy. She'd missed him. All the time spent waiting in the dark void was made nothing by those simple words. He hadn't touched her in so long, he'd grown unsure if she was interested at all. After all, she had her child now, and he couldn't be the same type of presence in Tenara's life as her other two fathers. Another woman might have stopped summoning him entirely.
It wasn't insecurity, per se. Knight knew of his masculine strengths quite well. But that didn't mean he could be sure of her. In regard to the feelings of the woman he loved, he was as blind as any other male.
The guardian craned his neck to kiss along Tenele's collarbone. His long hair dove in silken wisps along the surface of the water as he exhaled against her neck.

Re: Desert Moon
Tenele's breath quickened at the feel of his lips. Her fingers played over the skin of his back and shoulders while she thought of the words she could say to express how she felt. All of them seemed silly. "I do not take you lightly," she whispered, the words leaving her mouth before she could stop them. "I do not want to use you... I care about you. I am sorry if I have treated you poorly. I do love you. I promise."

Re: Desert Moon
Love. Knight froze up for a second at her gentle words. "Tenele..." he buckled over her and enclosed her in a crushing hug. He barely remembered to favor her hurt ribs and went on powercuddling as far as he could without hurting her. When he spared the necessary inches to draw back and meet her eyes, his handsome smile was pure joy. "You're too wonderful. You're going to melt me into the bathwater," he said warmly.

Re: Desert Moon
Tenele smiled, nuzzling into him. His touch was a little too tight, but she wasn't going to complain. "Don't melt," she urged. "If you melt, who is going to wash me? If you melt... who is going to kiss me?" Tenele kissed him softly. "Or touch me." Her fingers skittered over his wet skin. She sighed, resting her cheek on his shoulder. "I wish to make you happy, for the time that I have you. That is always my wish."

Re: Desert Moon
Her gentle touch was almost too much to move away from. Knight eased up on her wounded body and sat back to observe her. "I'll keep myself together a bit longer," he agreed, taking up the thin cloth he'd set at the edge of the tub. He dunked it under the water and smoothed it gently from her ankle up along her leg. He washed her a bit differently from Vlad. Vlad had a way of showing soft care, far more tender and warm than one would expect from a vampire. Knight was close to that, but with him, each brush of the cloth was almost ceremonial, like a special kind of worship that only he understood. His expression was solid with concentration as he gently paid attention to each part of her. Even his teasing, deliberately seductive touch against her more tender areas seemed like part of the dance.

Re: Desert Moon
She indulged in his worshipful treatment. He seemed so pleased to wash her. She giggled softly when he ran the cloth over her more ticklish places, and held her breath when he ran it over her most sensitive areas. She stole a kiss from him when she could, and by the end of it her hands were paying his body her own form of worship.

"Tenele," Knight whispered as he finished his work at her fingertips. His hands were steady, but his breathing was not, thanks to her touch. His lean body was drawn taut with interest. He hovered over her and kissed her slowly.

Re: Desert Moon
She smiled against his lips. "My Knight," she mused, smoothing her hands flat against his chest. She pushed against him gently. "Sit back."

Re: Desert Moon
The guardian studied her curiously, but he did as she asked. His long limbs seemed slightly out of place in the relatively normal sized tub. He leaned back into the hot water, and it filled in around him as he lay against the curve of the tub.

Re: Desert Moon
Tenele smiled sheepishly to him as she moved to straddle his waist. She ran her hands over his slick chest, down his arms, back over his chest. She leaned forward and kissed his skin, nipping lightly at his neck and across his jaw until she met his lips. While her tongue slipped inside his mouth her hands snuck below the water to grasp him. She moaned at the size, a true tribute to both his makers. She sat up, her hands pumping along him. She wanted to watch him squirm for a little bit, wanted to see that he enjoyed her... after she felt for so long that he didn't desire her anymore.
