"Oh! I want to dance!" Layla said. "I just thought talking was all there was going to be."

She noticed that Meagan was with Sen again, and that Jayden looked mildly annoyed.

"I'll go see if Jayden wants to dance," she told Yuuna. The sisters were always good at reading eachother, so Layla knew that Jayden was annoyed at Meagan. When Layla got to her, she tugged on her dress causing her to nearly lose her balance. Jayden stumbled and nearly fell on top of her.

"Darn, Layla. Be carfeul!" she said.

"I was just wanting to know if you wanted to dance." She gave an innocent smile and turned to Sennyo. "Are you two going to dance?"

By this time Lord Kanic had come downstairs again. He heard the band, walked over to Yuuna and asked, "May I have this dance?"

Yuuna smiled at him, "Sure." She was instantly pulled from the large gathering of people to an open spot on the floor. They began to dance in-time with the music. The crowd began to clap in a steady beat.

Meagan pulled at Sennyo's arm and said, "Come on lets dance!" Meagan really didn't like the face that Layla was at the party and she didn't want the girl to out-do her.

Sen was, unfortunatly, tugged onto the dance floor. Now, it wasn't that he couldn't dance, back home his people threw parties just about everyday and they were always a blast. But it was that, well, he normally always danced with his sister so he wasn't used to anyone else.

But Sen took Meagan's arm and they went to the floor. In no time they were dancing, one of the only things Sen was really enjoying.

Layla watched Sen and Meagan dance for a while and looked at Jayden. "Let's find someone to dance with!"

"Layla, do you even know how to dance?" Jayden asked.

"Uh...no."

Then how about I teach you?"

"Okay."

The girls walked to the dance floor, and Jayden showed Layla how to dance.

Yuuna saw Meagan and said, "Want to have a dacne off you 2?"

Meagan glared at her, "YES!" She yelled back.

Lord Kanic smiled, they started dancing. Yuuna extended her arms, so did Kanic. SHe stepped towards him and turned a little. Thier arms went to the sides, like bird wings, then they stepped back from eachother.

Kanic let go of one of Yuuna's arms and twirled her. One she stopped spinning she twirled herself in so she was wrapped in his arms. She took his hand so that her back was against the side of his body and arm. It made for a very odd position.

They let go and both looked at Meagan and Sennyo. Taunting them to dance.

OOC: Mizuki you can control Meagan while u 'dance' XD.

Jayden noticed a dance-off in the middle of the dance floor. "Layla! A dance-off! I bet you could learn how to dance good if you watched it!"

Layla looked and saw that Yuuna was competing with Lord Kanic against Sen and Meagan. "And look who it is! Come on!"

The girls walked quickly towards them so they could watch.

Sen narrowed his eyes at the two girls. 'I obviously felt some hosility between the two but... Meagan dislikes any girl who comes near me! What's Yuuna thinking?' Sen thought. He was very glad that he wasn't really going to marry this girl. He doubted that he'd be able to handle all her jealousy.

Meanwhile back in Sen's room, Skye sneaked in and grabed the money Lord Kanic and placed there. She hid it in the pocket of her dress and ran back into her room. She wondered when the party would soon be over so they can leave. When she entered her room she called out, "Sparks!" From under the bed covers, a small grey and black ferret popped up. "Sparks, go get Sen and tell him we can leave... now!" Hearing his orders, Sparks the ferret scambled from the bed and squeezed under the door. "Don't get caught!" Skye yelled out to the ferret.

Sparks made his way unseen down the stairs and weaved his way through the forest of feet that were standing still in a circle watching the dance off. Sen was in the middle of twirling Meagan when he saw Sparks and almost droped her when he lifted her off her feet. Understanding, Sen nodded his head and held his hand up to stop this dance off.

"Pardon me, but I have something very important to deal with right now. I'm sorry but I must leave this." he said and turned to Yuuna and Lord Kanic. "Shall we call this a draw then?"

"No! We must finish!" Meagan half yelled, infuriated that she couldn't beat Yuuna. Sen smiled charmingly and tweeked her nose. "Don't worry my little flower, There will be other times." Seeing that Meagan seemed satisfied and almost melted once he touched her, Sen disapeared into the crowd, picking up Sparks along his way up the stairs. "She got the money then?" When Sparks nodded Sen smiled wyrly. "Then let's leave this party."

OOC: hehe, prevent him from leaving and have the nosy Layla go after him! lol

Meagan was going to run after him when Yuuna reached out and pinched between her neck and shoulder. Meagan fell to the ground, Lord kanic ran and picked her up. "What did you do?" He questioned.

Yuuna had seen Sparks and she began to run after Sennyo. She reached out and grabbed him arm. Yuuna didn't say anything but she looked directly into his eyes. Then nodded and let Sennyo go.

She found Layla, "We're going." She found Jayden, "We're going." She walked up the stairs and changed her clothes and threw her bag over her shoulder. She also washed her face off and left the room.

Layla didn't want to leave yet. She wanted to know where Sen went, and what kind of cute animal that was that he was holding. She turned to Jayden and asked, "Can I go see where Sen went?"

"You better hurry," she told her.

Layla ran up the stairs and starting calling for him. "Sen! Sennyo! Where are you! It's me, Layla! What's going on? Seeeeenyooooo!"

Sen heard Layla's calls and stopped midway to his sister's room door. His face held surprise. "Ah--what--Layla!--I...er..." he stumbled on his words. First Yuuna stopped him then let him go, and now Layla came after him. "Layla, what are you doing?" he demanded, his stern tone faultering.

Layla was surprised and was afraid he was angry with her. "I...I'm sorry. I just wanted to know what was going on. You left in a hurry, so...I was worried." She dropped her head and let her long hair fall in front of her face. "I didn't want to make you mad..."

Sen sighed then walked up to Layla and hugged her. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean sound angry. I was just...worried about why you followed me." Sen thought for a moment then continued, "I have to do some adult things right now..." He didn't know what else to say but Sparks grew impaitent, gave a squeak, then jumped from his hiding place and squirmed under the door of Skye's room.

"Do you need any help? I may not be an adult, but I can get Yuuna or Jayden." She didn't mention Meagan, whom she didn't like that much anyway. "Was that a ferret? I mean, I want to come with you!" Layla clung onto his shirt and looked up at him with a face that was almost impossible to say "no" to. "Can I please come and be your big helper?"

Sen reacted like any big brother would, since it was in his nature. "Of course you can come and help..." he said softly, with a smile on his lips and then he remembered. "I mean, ah...Layla, doesn't your sister and Yuuna need you more?...What I'm about to do will probably make us on the run for awhile..." he mummbled the rest.

Inside the room, Skye sighed impaitently and opened the door quickly and paled at the sight of Layla in Sen's arms. A small tinge of jealousy shot through her as she thought, 'he's my brother!' But she quickly pushed it aside.

"Sen!?" she stamped her foot impaitently.

"I know, I know!" Sen replied and looked down at Layla. He was at loss of what to do, and they had to go..NOW.

Layla looked at Skye with curiousity, still holding onto Sen, and asked, "Who's that? Can't Jayden and Yuuna come, too? If not, I could just run away. They're getting ready to leave now, so they would think I just got lost. I don't want you to go, Sen. And I know you don't want to marry Meagan. That's because she's mean and jealous of everything and everyone. Please don't leave without me." She buried her face in his shirt and waited for an answer.
