Lore: Searching: Part 3 (mature)
The journey was a mixture of Mitsukai trying to fly them all halfway across the desert, walking, finding a town and buying some supplies, and more walking. Mitsukai predicted that by the time, if they lived, they got out of the desert, she would lose 14 pounds! Which she did look thinner. If anything, she might've suffered the most through the journey because of her battle wounds.
It wasn't until they reached the line of the desert that broke off into mountains, did Mitsukai have enough energy to run the rest of the way. Once she cross the borderline, she collasped against lush green grass and a cool wind to her face. They may have to cross some mountains but it sure as anything beats the desert heat!

When Skye saw the mountains, he felt such sudden relief it almost exhausted him. They were finally out of the desert! But where were they, now? He saw Mitsukai start running for the mountains, so he joined her. When he caught up with her, he tackled her, and they landed in the grass. He had his legs wrapped around her waist and his arms around her shoulders; he was on top of her.
"Gotcha," he said like a playful child.

Leydon hadn't had the time to use his rune magic on Mitsukai yet the whole trip. Not feeling like walking, and realizing that teleporting every few feet wouldn't work too well because a specific patch of desert was kind of hard to visualize, he satisfied himself with using a rune for levitation, and floated after the two slowly. Every once in a while he had refilled their canteens with water he created with his magic.
Upon reaching the edge of the mountain, and having his companions rush ahead of him, he quickly traced a rune in midair. He then visualized the area where Mitsukai and Skye were and teleported there. He disappeared and reappeated next to the two.

"Haha. I was being sarcastic," Skye said. "A threesome?" He tried to think of a good way to answer Mitsukai's question. "Well, like you usually see two people together as couple, right? A threesome is when it's three people insread of the regular two." It was the easiest way he could put it. Then, he got up and brushed off grass from his pants. "So, where are we anyway?"
Leydon stared at Mitsukai incredulously, he'd rather not get dragged into this. Instead, he walked off and lay down in the grass, staring up at the sky. However, he soon got bored and took his oversized sword. He made a spectacle of lights for himself to amuse himself with, mostly just sparks that flew in the air.
OOC: Skye was really supposed to sound like a smart ass when he said that a while ago. The threesome thing is hilarious! XD

"Don't worry about, Suk." Skye said. (like her nickname? ^_^)
He watched Leydon from where he was. And as he watched him, he wondered why, even though he was a half-elf, he didn't know any magic. But he soon pushed the thought away.
"I wonder if there's anyone around here that might be worth talking to."

As Mitsukai brought her wings out, he wondered if they could ever be healed. He layed down in the grass, putting his arms behind his head, and stared at the sky. It felt good to finally be out of the desert.
"We need to find out which direction to go in to get to the border. You got the map?" Skye asked.
