6) Power- She is physically composed of pure magical energy that is similar to electricity. She can use this energy by
1. Channeling it into an offensive attack, hurling balls of power or more powerful lightning bolts at her enemies. These attacks leave painful burns similar to those from an electrical fire and in large doses can send the victim into a state of paralysis.
2. Forming the energy into a repulsive field that drives away anything that attempts to penetrate it. This barrier works a lot like a reverse magnet; the bigger or faster the object approaching it, the more energy is required to prevent it from breaking through. The barrier can also be used for offense to pound back enemies, but cannot be fired; it must be anchored to her body at all times or the energy will dissipate.
3. Because her body is literally made of energy, anyone who attempts to touch her will trigger an uncontrolled outflow of electricity, burning whatever flesh is in contact with her and delivering an electrocuting shock to the person touching her. This outflow of energy can only be controlled when she is completely calm and relaxed.
Other powers: Flight. She is capable of carrying another person while in flight, but with great difficulty and with a severe loss of speed and maneuverability.
7) Appearance: Zaraxi is a tall, slender woman with a pair of long silver wings extending from her upper back and a second, smaller pair billowing out from where her ears should be. Her skin is a coppery brown and her perfectly straight hair is a metallic silver slightly darker than her wings, hanging to her waist. When she is fighting, her hair tends to billow out as though charged with electricity.
Her crimson red eyes have no pupils and are difficult to read, but glow intensely when she uses her powers. She wears a red body suit that covers her torso and extends halfway down her thighs. Over this she wears a long white sleeveless coat that hangs down to her shins. It has a wide mandarin collar and the front hangs open from her naval down. These clothes are composed of her own magical energy and crackle with blue sparks when outside objects contact them.
8) Weaknesses: Zaraxi is especially vulnerable to water, which tends to short circuit her. Every time she uses her energy, she dilutes her body, and the more dilute she becomes the weaker she is. Her wings are her weakest spot, and the only portion of her body that is not conductive when people touch them. She especially hates anybody touching the wings on the sides of her head. This is largely because if anything happens to her wings, she can not return to the sky, where she recharges her body with static electricity from the clouds. If she can not leave the ground, she will disperse and eventually die.
9) Biography: Zaraxi was created by a powerful faction of sorcerers from Arken’s Military as a weapon. She was the result of the first trial that actually managed to create a sentient demon, but she had several ‘defects’. They had intended her to be capable of absorbing the life force of her victims and recycling it as offense against more enemies, creating a limitless cycle of destruction, but Zaraxi was born without this characteristic. The self-destructive conductivity of her skin was also an undesirable trait.
The scientists were eager to start over and try for a more effective result, but saw no point in wasting the energy they had used to create Zaraxi, so they planned to use her power to create her successor. Zaraxi had been instilled with a great deal of practical knowledge and very little emotional intelligence, but she did understand the desire to survive. Having no intention of being recycled, she broke free from the laboratory and fled, destroying a large portion of the Military’s research facility in the process.
10) Although she knows how to survive, perform many professional tasks, has extensive knowledge of military tactics and can read and speak fluently, she is quite naïve about many more aesthetic aspects of life. Her personality is currently more or less a blank slate, but so far she has learned to be extremely timid and defensive, trusting no one. She would run from every living thing that approaches her if not for her dangerously strong sense of curiosity.
11) Extras- Weapons do affect her, but only in that they disperse a small amount of her energy. Thus, armed attacks against her body have a very minimal effect on her, unless they target her wings. She does not bleed, she is made of pure energy.
