Adonis was breathing heavily and leaning on his crutch, but otherwise he seemed stable. Telanis could hardly believe the sight of the three of them together. Adonis had travelled with and helped the two humans? He tried not to get his hopes up. The two brothers stood face to face and stared at each other for a long moment.

"Well, hurry up," Adonis said flatly.

Telanis gave him a confused look, still staring at his lost brother.

"You want to heal him, right?" Adonis clarified, annoyed now.

Telanis tore his gaze from Adonis to Kratos. Regaining his senses, he knelt swiftly beside the man, wanting to hug him after losing them for so long. "It will be alright now," he said happily to the agonized Kratos. He bowed his head and touched his forehead gently to his, and a warm light surrounded them both, healing the pain and wounds.

Laya crept closer to them, smiling softly at Neko and Adonis. She turned her attention to Telanis, watcing him closely as he healed Kratos's wounds. She took a seat, sitting to the side with her legs bent beside her. Trying to contain a modest position in the clothes that the captain had given her to wear.

Still she stayed silent, not really sure how to great them. Not sure what to say. Like usual...

This was the first time Neko had witnessed Telanis' power. It was beautiful, surreal. The light that shined over her brother seemed to even go over to her. She was calmed by the sight, or maybe even Telanis' power? Either way, seeing her brother open his eyes with fully clarity and no bleeding wounds made her want to shout.

When Telanis finished and Kratos sat up feeling his renewed body, Neko hugged him tightly.

"I was so worried!" she cried, weeping with relief. Over the surprise of Neko's swift and crushing hug, Kratos laid his arm around her, hugging her back.

"Don't worry anymore. I'll resume my role as your protector. You've done enough." Being healed, he was now fully aware of what his sister had done. Growing up, he always protected her, now the roles had switched and now it would be more than brotherly duty. He owed her his life. Without her care in the beginning, he would've died from the start.

Kratos's words moved Telanis greatly. Protection, love...all these things humans were capable of. They were amazing creatures. How could Adonis see them so poorly? Too excited to speak, Telanis followed up their moving conversation with an affectionate hug that embraced both of them and squeezed them together. He was smiling from ear to ear.

Adonis rolled his eyes at the commotion and lowered himself to a seat on the cool sand of the beach, close to where Laya stood. He glanced over her skeptically, wondering what she and Telanis had been through. Her clothes were certainly unique. Then again, Adonis was wearing what barely passed for a loincloth; he was in no position to throw stones.

"Well, you manage not to kill anyone," she said softly, glancing over at Adonis. She kept it just between them. She remembered clearly that Adonis was almost the cause of her death, but also the reason of her survival. She remembered clearly their time together when the ship was sinking. How he saved her from the fire and from the pirate. He claimed to want to hate humans, yet he did such good.

Her eyes glanced idly back to the happy group. She was happy to see them. She really was. "I'm glad you are all okay," she said, smiling softly at them. "We were worried about you..."

Adonis just glared in response to Laya's question, though not at her. He glared into the ground. He had killed the men who came after them in the forest, and the wolves that attacked them. He'd used his magic to kill; each time, it seemed to get easier and more devastating at once. "Just a few," he answered her coldly. She didn't think he could do it. They would come to regret underestimating him.

After their group hug, Neko drew back and smiled at Laya, and Adonis.

"For a while, I was too..." Neko said softly, remembering. "But, we're alive.. and only because of Adonis and his impatience to keep moving." She joked with a grin. Since she no longer had to worry, she could be herself again... almost. She was happy to notice that when Telanis hugged them, she did not go into panic. Maybe because he wasn't really a man? Or just his powers?

"What... what happened to you two?" Kratos asked, genuinely interested. He wanted to know how they had gotten separated.

Laya glanced at him, her grey eyes watching him for a long moment. "I don't care if you do kill," she said softly. "Just as long as it isn't anyone important to Telanis."

She rose from her seat, walking over to give Neko a hug. "I'm glad you are safe," she smiled softly, hugging the woman tightly.

"We got kidnapped by pirates, but managed to... talk our way out of it," she said, though it wasn't the entire trueth it would do for now.

Kratos quirked a brow, but let it be. Maybe it really didn't matter as of now. Kratos eyes were heavy. Even though he was healed he was still very tired.

"If, anyone doesn't mind, I'm still... dreadfully tired." he said, almost apologetically.

"Go sleep brother. We're safe now." Neko said after hugging Laya, kissing him on his brow. And Kratos lay back in the sand, resting his head on one arm and closed his eyes to sleep off his exhaustion. Once she knew he slept, Neko turned back to the others.

"I'm glad we found you again... really." her eyes lowered. Exhaustion, internal pain, happiness all rolled into one she felt the tears sting behind her eyes. "You guys are like seeing Heaven after Hell."

Telanis nodded to Laya's statement. "But how did you get so badly injured?" he asked protectively. He glanced at Adonis suspiciously.

"We didn't fight each other, if that's what you're thinking," Adonis spat in annoyance at the look his brother gave him.

Neko's smile faltered and she looked off into the water with a melancholy look. "We..." What to tell them? They were captured, tortured, violated, got away only to collapse into the depths of a cave. Fearing death and yet almost welcoming it. Fighting tooth and nail to live.

"We were... taken." her face fell, her hair covering her face, hiding its expression. "And... tortured." She said it like letting out a breath. "Adonis found us and... took us away. And when we took refugee in a cave... it collapsed." She smiled under the protection of her hair, suddenly wanting to laugh it all away. "We don't seem to have the best of luck..."

Laya watched Neko for a long quiet moment. She, more than anyone, could not the subtle signs that she was unknowingly giving off. The ex-archer's eyes looked downcast for a moment, then she glanced over at Telanis. "Hey, Neko... Do you want to go with me to get firewood?" she asked softly. Maybe away from the men Neko wouldn't mind talking about it. Laya knew how keeping things bottled up inside could eat you alive. Kill you from the inside out.

Locking away the memories is what drove her to almost lung off the cliff. Meeting Telanis was very well the only reason she hadn't taken her own life. She wouldn't out right ask the girl if she wanted to talk about it. She thought that maybe them spending some time alone... Neko would want to vent? Besides, its good for girls to have time together.

"Hey, Neko... Do you want to go with me to get firewood?" she asked softly.

She lifted her head up to look at Laya. That was an odd request, but... "Sure," was her single, soft spoken reply as she stood up from her brother's side. She brushed her knee's off from the sand and went over to Laya. Brown eyes vainly trying to hide her pain.

"We won't go far," she told Telanis, giving him a soft smile. She wanted to kiss him on the cheek, but thought better of it. Something told her that could prove to be a problem around Adonis.

With a single glance to the dark haired unicorn she headed towards the forests edge. "It will be dark soon, we might as well prepare to camp. We should find some place away from the sand. I don't know about you but I find it extremely annoying when it gets under my clothes..."

She shifted down the path further and further, kneeling and picking sticks up along the way. She was quiet for a moment, but finally sighed and rose up. "Neko," she said quietly. "Are you sure you are alright?" She knew that it was a stupid question, but she felt it might be the only one that could open up her room to vent.

Adonis glanced at the girls as they stood to get wood. In the back of his mind, he thought that it would be good for the two to speak, and hopefully help ease the burdens on Neko's mind. Adonis had not been able to offer much comfort for her situation. He quickly denied the thought. He didn't care what they did or talked about.

However, that did leave him alone with his brother. He set his expression and looked up warily, and sure enough, Telanis was looking at him with that sad, lost expression. Hoping his changed brother had somehow returned to the way he was before. Adonis raised his chin with a small, bitter laugh. "Let's get it over with," he said coldly to his brother.

Telanis looked confused, but went ahead and asked anyway. "You saved them?"

Adonis had to glance away. Telanis's face looked so happy that it sort of hurt. "Not because I wanted to," he said. "It seemed like the best way to locate you."

"Then what, now that you've found me?" Telanis said, the first bit of frustration coming into his voice. Good, Adonis knew better how to handle anger than that pathetic, hopeful stare.

"Nothing for now. As much as I hate to admit it, we may need the humans to get you back to the mainland."

Telanis pursed his lips to keep from saying something foolish. He looked down at the sleeping Kratos beside him, calmly stroking the hair back from his forehead. "I'm...glad you're safe," he said.

"You'd know if i wasn't, Idiot," Adonis snapped, lying back on the sand. It was clear that the conversation was over.
