WTF?

Somehow, I find Jim's character to be mocking the whole RP forum. I'm not offended, but I do feel as if he's making fun of 'us'. But that is just my opinion, please post your opinions.

When he fist posted his character, that is the first thing that came to my mind. Either he was mocking us or he was a first time role player. If he is mocking us than I feel sorry that he has nothing better to do with his time. But, then there is the facter that he is possibly just a person wanting to start role playing. I'm willing to give him a shot either way.

He hates trying to be creative. Not a first timer. That is why the first post sucked.

He'll show us his intentions one way or the other soon enough. If there's a disruption, we'll handle it, but he deserves a fair chance.

Ya, true, I asked Jim to RP with meagan and I. I thought he would make a handsome character, I should have known better knowing Jim T_T. So much for wishful thinking.

Haha I love reading about myself, makes me feel important.

I'm not a first time role player, I've role played several times times on 3 to 4 diffrent forums. I like mocking people who always have to have role playing the same "I must be cool with my char and make him look sooo freakin sweet" way. I like making wierd ugly chars who act odd just to lighten the atmosphere.

The 3 forums I roleplayed on were based off D&D where you write what your char does, the GM roles the dice and tells you if you sucked or not and he also adds to the story. I like it better for some reason.

The 4th forums I RPed on they made you type out long stuff 100+ words. That's over kill for me, I'm not that creative or that bord. I havn't figured out what type of forum this is yet, but then again I havn't been in the "RP" section yet.

Also ty for your opinions on my char!

And I was just lazy when I first made my char not new or mockign you haha.

Eh, first of all, this section, where one would start a criticism of someone else, really doesn't fit in Deep end in beyond, it should be in something like Chat it out. Second of all, what's with praising Jim's character first and then coming right over here and criticising it. And while I wasn't too sure about the character, I figured it was half made as a joke half serious, so I decided to just follow Soran on that one.

I also like your motivation for the type of characters you make, Jim. While I might appreciate some more detail, I myself have also taken to making some form of character with strange character traits, though not as strange as your own. So have fun RPing here and you won't really get in any trouble so long as you don't break any rules and as long as you do it semi seriously, I appreciate jokes, but don't do it too much so that you get everyone your RPing with tired of you.

Also, Amenat, just a warning for you. This forum has a no out of character insult policy. While the beginning of this was more bad mouthing, you did just out right go out and say "He hates trying to be creative. Not a first timer. That is why the first post sucked." which can qualify as an insult, so just watch yourself for a while, chances are we'll end up forgetting about it after a while or maybe not, I tend to have a good memory for strange things.

Right on. Well, I think this thread's served its purpose, so time to lock up and move on!

If someone feels the need to pursue this topic further, please do it off the forums.
