"And you see it fit to tell us your life story, because?" Tenele added to Vlad's antaginizing comments, just to be annoying.
He suddenly disappeared and reappeared right next to her. With one arm around her slender waist he pulled her closer to him, tugging her away from her protective blanket. She looked startled but didn't budge as he faked a lunge for her neck, thinking he would rip her throat out. He just chuckled and brushed his fangs against her. "Don't feel so left out," he said with his voice deep and low. Husky. Tilting his head, his eyes admired the view. "I'm saving the best for last." Then, he threw her back towards Vlad and she landed gracefully by his side, quickly recovering the object that covered her and moving closer to Vlad.
He reappeared just in the shadows where he had been standing before. "You underestimate me, vampire," he muttered. Calling Vlad a vampire as if he were just a common one, bellow him. "I am much more than that." He eased forward again, his eyes glancing to Tenele. Then he charged forward, disappearing in mid charge and reappearing at Vlad's side, swinging the holy axe towards the orginial No Life King.

Vlad's lips curled back in anger as the newcomer touched Tenele's neck. The monster's movement toward him was -almost- too fast to make out, but he still managed to throw his arms up and catch the handle of the axe, pushing against the heavy blow. It scalded against his hands, and he threw it quickly off to the side. Holy metal? That shouldn't be possible... "You wield a holy weapon," he said with a dark laugh. "And you dare name yourself a creature of the night? Know your place, Pretender!" he snarled, diving forward with a speed no human could follow, his nails splitting out into knifelike claws that slashed at the stranger's neck.

"I'm a new creature of the night. All of your strengths, none of your weaknesses. Invincible," Lothos cackled and disappeared once agian, reappearing to follow up on Vlad's rear, aiming the newly collected axe towards Vlad's back. Tenele was shocked that he had done that so quickly. So fast, she hadn't even seen him go to the axe. "Vlad!" she yelled in warning, her heart skipping a beat. She knew that it would take more than one blow to kill Vlad, but since it was holy it would slow him down.
Tenele knew she just couldn't sit on the bed and do nothing. She dove to the side to collect the gown that Vlad had pulled from her form earlier. It flew out of her reach and into the darkness above. "You won't be needing that, my love," his dark voice called to her. He swinging wildly at Vlad, over and over.
Well, she would just have to make clothing. She grabbed the sheet from the bed and wrapped it around her, and promised she would get Vlad a new coverlet, when she ripped the gold rope trim and used it to tie the sheet too her. All of this distracting her from the fight.
(Think of when the little mermaid used that sail as clothes and that is what Tenele's sheet dress looks like

Vlad ported out of reach of the axe again and again, only to find the imposter directly in front of him. He was extremely fast, he'd give him that. "Oh, I'd say you have weaknesses," Vlad snorted at the man's arrogance. "Interior decorating, for one." He swung his arm out for the man's neck to hurl him across the room.

OOC: You can control Lothos too if you want. I want to make him like... arch enemy time. Almost like Naraku... except... He will eventually die! PS: I was listening to that No Fear song you introduced me too while writing this post.
He slammed into the wall with a growl and immediatly disappeared and for a moment he was no where. Tenele shifted in a circle, glancing all around for a moment and then back at Vlad. "Eh... maybe you hurt his feelings?" she asked.
Tenele looked up at the ceiling, the bodies twirling in mid hair, suspended by their ankles with ropes. Nothing. Then she glanced back at Vlad, who was facing away from her. He monster was holding the axe above his head, about to bring it down on Vlad.
"No!" she said, running up behind him and latching onto the axe handle. His strength pulled her up over his head, but her body weight was enough to redirect the blow and it missed Vlad completely.
"Annoying little, bitch," he muttered, Tenele still holding onto the axe while he tugged on it. It jerked her around, still she didn't let go and this seemed to only irritate him.
"Annoying yes," she muttered. "A bitch... well, you haven't seen anything yet." She smirked and when he jerked upwards she came willingly and planted her foot right between his legs. He was still sensitive there. She jerked the axe from his loosened grip and hurled it towards the window. It broke through the blood covered glass and light came into the room in a single long beam. She hadn't planned it, and it was all by accident. The beam of light hit Lothos and his skin began to bubble and burn. He roared with fury, the one weakness passed on to him by his queen. Her reaction to the sun.
Tenele placed a hand on her knee as Lothos stepped behind the light and out of its touch. She gave a witty smile and tilted her head. "Now, that was being a bitch."
He growled and ported directly in front of her. Tenele stumbled back as she got a close up view of the grotesque burn that was slowly healing.

Vlad laughed so hard it resonated through the whole chamber. "Invincible!" he howled. "Tell you what, my friend," he sneered menacingly, and suddenly he was up on the man's shoulders. He raised both hands together and slammed them down into his head, the force breaking straight through the rafter they were sitting on, across the shaft of light. Vlad caught Tenele and pulled her in against his chest as the enemy crashed to the floor, then teleported them both to the ground. Releasing Tenele, he ported to the center of the room grinning like a madman. "Let's take this outside," he said, flinging his arm out to the side. In a heartbeat, every window in the circular room exploded in a shower of glass, allowing wide shafts of light to flood across the room.

Tenele ducked, covering her head as glass shattered everywhere. The tinging sound of glass hitting the floor was reapted in one loud orchestra of destruction.
No place to run. No place to hide. Light filled the room and Lothos's skin began to scorch, bubble, and burn and all the while he said nothing. He watched them, growling until he could no longer contain himself and let out a petrified scream. "This... isn't... over, vampire! I will have... what is mine! And you... will die!" he roared and was gone. Silence filled the room, except the sound of the ocean and the birds that were looping circles around the tower.
The Queen's Maiden slowly stepped towards the center of the room, avoiding trying her best to avoid the shards of glass. Her feet were bare, so she treaded lightly on the rough stone. Tenele put a hand on Vlad's arm as she stared at the place the beast had momentarly been standing. Was he dead, or had he once again ported away? "What the hell is he talking about?" she asked. "What is his?" She knew that the Witch Queen wanted Vlad's blood, which Tenele would make sure never happened. But, what did that bastard want? Vlad's outfit, he did seem rather jealous in a way of the No Life King. However, what else did Vlad have that she didn't know about? What did he own that the hybrid would want?

Tenele shook her head and glanced back up at him. "No, I'm fine," she said, glancing back at the place the hybrid had been standing. She rubbed her arm absentmindedly and wrapped her arm around Vlad's arm. Hugging his arm to her. "Well, this isn't exactly how I saw us spending the day..." she muttered, wondering if she was cursed to have every person that ever tried to kill her be brought back to life.
She let go and walked in a zig-zag, trying to avoid the sharp shards of glass that was scattered across the floor. She reached the window and leaned out to find a shimmering silver axe sticking out of the courtyard ground. "He'll be back for his weapon," she said. "That is good news, we could set a trap. Or he'll be expecting that and will figure another way of getting it back."

Vlad frowned, not entirely convinced by her reasoning. But there was some weight to it; holy weapons weren't easily forged in Arken. Few true monks or paladins existed there. The very concept of a no life king holding that axe still disturbed him, but his seared hand still stung to prove it had happened. "This trick won't work twice. He'll come at night," Vlad said, indicating the ruined windows. "Let's go get the axe."

Tenele glanced over her shoulder at him and gave a nod, turning to walk towards him. "I want to get some clothes on and a weapon, just encase he's still as stupid as when we fought in the battle." She took a few steps and stopped with a jerk, hissing as glass stabbed into her foot. She hobbled over to the bed, which was the closest thing and pulled the glass out.
"Alright, that is better," she stood and finished the distance between them. "So, are we going to go down the stairs... or take the shortcut." Meaning him. He seemed angry and she wanted him to be happy. Though, she couldn't deny she was disturbed and worried. This vampire appeared to be stronger than Vlad. Was he actually stronger? She was worried for Vlad's safety, though knew he wouldn't be pleased with her if she admitted she was afraid he couldn't handle this one.
"Cheer up Vlad," she said with a beautiful smile. "I'll protect you." She made it sound as if she were joking, when she meant she would try to protect him. "You could probably use clothing too, you are wearing a bed sheet."

"That's what I'm afraid of," Vlad scoffed, his expression lightening somewhat. He had to admit that had this person wanted to, he could have killed Tenele several times during the battle. He was casual with his harassment, playing with her. That disturbed him. The smell of her blood cut in on the overwhelming smell of the rest of the room, and he glanced down at her bare feet. "You don't regenerate," he said seriously. "You're rather reckless." He wasn't going to tell Tenele not to involve herself, or not to fight. She wouldn't agree to it even if he asked, and it wasn't his style. His statement was the closest he'd give to a warning. "Oh," he smiled, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her torso against his, "And we're taking the shortcut, of course."
A flash of darkness found them outside, still wearing nothing but sheets for modesty. The fashion statement didn't seem to bother Vlad in the least. The axe was sticking out of the ground nearby, its handle pointing upward. The head glared brightly in the sunlight, but it was only Vlad who really had to avert his eyes from the thing. It took effort just to approach it. This was one hell of a weapon, and Vlad definitely didn't want the enemy getting it back. "Can you grab it," he requested unhappily, holding his gaze down and away from the holy metal.

Tenele glanced around at all the noble men and women who were staring at them. "Eh..." she said, and hurried to pull the axe out of the ground. It was stuck pretty good, so she kicked it with the bottom of her bare foot and it fell to the stone. She picked it up, turning back towards Vlad. The whispers growing louder and louder.
"Are they wearing the same bedding?" one woman said far louder than a whisper.
Tenele smirked and gave a fashionable curtsy. "He just couldn't control himself and ripped my clothes to shreds," she said in the sweetest and most polite voice. "However, his were far worst off than mine." The women gasped in mild shock, and with a wink she took several steps closer to Vlad, holding the axe further from him. "Erm... can we get out of here now?" she asked in a whisper.

Vlad smirked at her comment, enjoying the stares of the townsfolk. He was used to being a curiosity to them, but their reaction to them together was even more entertaining than normal. Unfortunately, if Tenele was hoping for a flashy exit after her remark, she wasn't getting one. "Sure," he answered her with a smile. "The front door is this way," he said, and began leading the way along the path that surrounded the palace.

Tenele narrowed her eyes, standing there for a moment and watching him walk away. She ran to catch up with him, leaving a trail of little blood stains behind. "Vladimir Dracul..." she muttered, catching up with him. "I should kick you!" The noble women just seemed to follow them with there eyes, still muttering behind them. She had the urge to throw them a vulgar jesture, however kept it to herself.
"So where the are we going to hide this thing?" she asked, wondering where they could hide it. If this guy wanted it, he was clearly going to get it back. "We should have just left it there and let him come back for it at night. Then jump him. I'm sure it would please him so to fall into another trap."
