Carnthir walked through the dark forest with Coia and Thomas. The past five years had passed rather quickly and they weren't without loss and heartache. They had lost the other elves and they were the only three that remained on the venture.
Now here they were. In the midst of the dark forest of the enemy. Unlike their home, Carnthir and Coia weren't at home in this evil realm. This woodland was made of pure evil.

Thomas himself was not very comfortable with this. They had lost many friends, and he had felt his will deminish with each one. However, he had not given up. The dark elves would pay for what they had done. And he would not rest, nor would Coia or Carnthir, until the dark elves paid.
Thomas was now 22, older than he was before. However, with age and with the experience he had had with the elves, he had gained wisdom and courage. Not only that, but his skills had gone beyond even his own expectations. There was not a single thing Thomas' senses were acute to their limits, and his ability to use weapons had been honed to its limit as well. In short, his time with the elves had made him much like them.
Now they were in the darkness of the wood, noone risking to say anything to the other. It would be difficult to know where a dark elf was before it was too late.

Carnthir felt a icy chill down his spine, as a soft whisper entered his ears. He turned quickly, but saw no one.
"What is it?" Coia asked. He scoured the area also, and found nothing. The forest was so distorted it made it hard to notice anything out of the ordinary. The only thing that seemed misplaced was them.
"I don't know," Carnthir answered. "Something is here." His eyes glowed brightly from the moons milky light.
