Laya looked at the moment, still hugging the ladies coat to her to keep warm and sheild or soaked body. "What is there to talk about? Only that you ensure his safety," she said, not budging on the subject. She stared long and hard at the woman. It was nice to feel her old self coming back. It was nice to be filled with somewhat of that old strength. That daringness and boldness. How long she had missed it and now they were once again reunited.
"So, when will you give me to your men?" she asked with acid in her voice, her body going rigid. "Wasn't that what you had planned before you found that Telanis was a unicorn?"

Amarra looked at Laya thoughtfully, a bit surprised by her stern manner. She was no longer sure who was protecting who. "I took you because I could use the help on board, and because you interested me. I never bring anything onto my ship that does not interest me, and I keep nothing that loses my interest. As for his safety, I believe that rests largely on you, my dear. What are you prepared to do to ensure it?"

Laya blinked and looked at the woman, trying to figure out what she would be of any interest to a head hunter. For one, they only went after rare species and Laya being a brunette was hardly a rare species. She did have unusual gray eyes, but still that could be that interesting. Not as interesting as a giant gorilla or something.
"I'd do anything to protect him," Laya said, and it was the truth. She tried to give herself tothe men in the town to protect Telanis. She would die for him. He had shown her kindness before anyone else. He made her happy and she would protect him with her life. Not just for those reasons, but also because she loved him.

Laya tilted her head. "Give me a bow and I can shoot you between the eyes before you could even blink. But, I will not kill animals for your glory," she said with warning, testily and defiant. She was angered that she had been seperated for Telanis, and angry this woman wouldn't allow her to see him. "Sure, I can dance and poor a drink... I'd rather do that, thank you."

The woman smiled cunningly. "Then you shall. My men are starved for attention and I can hardly mind all of them at once. This ship could use a woman's touch - oh, but they won't be touching you. Your...friend, specified that. But even had he said nothing, no one on this ship touches anyone but me in that way. And they ALL do, at my leisure. I hand picked every one of them, just as I picked you." She looked tempted to reach out and cup her chin, which seemed to be a habit of dominance for her, but wisely rethought it. She instead waved her hand in a wide arc toward a bureau in the corner of the cabin. "You may help yourself to any clothes you like. Your audition is in twenty minutes," she laughed. "Then we shall decide on a course of action. I trust you can find your own way to the pub on deck two."

'What a whore,' Laya thought as she put on the first thing her hands touched since she didn't want to go digging through the psycho whores stuff. She reluctantly pulled a white blouse on and then a tight black leather corset. She then put on a short tattered black skirt that looked as if it had been purposely ripped for the tattered affect. She found some knee-high black boots and was very surprised that they even fit.
She didn't have a mirror. All she knew was it was easy to move in so if she got in a fight she had some boots to stomp someone to death and could move easily in the skirt to kick. The last thing she did was slip a dagger into her knee high boots just encase someone got friendly. She brushed her hair, but didn't use make-up. She wasn't trying to impress anyone.
She left and went down bellow deck. She found the door with the sign that said, "Pub" over it and opened it slowly. The room was loud but fell silent as she entered. She hated that, for all eyes seemed to be on her. Then a loud cheer erupted and they began clapping for her. She inturn produced a very vulger gesture with her middle finger. They just laughed and cheered louder. She was tired of being weak. She would be strong... She had too for Telanis's sake.

Telanis looked up as a knock sounded on his door and Amarra entered the room. He had been setting on a small bed at the side of the room after getting dressed in a pair of billowy tan trousers and a white shirt that had a low cut split front laced up with tan cord. The shirt showed a good portion of his muscled chest, probably on purpose.
"You look lovely, my dear. Now, come, or we'll be late for the show," she almost sneered.
Telanis stood up and followed her down the stairs to the second deck, uncertain what was happening. He was led into a large room roaring with crewmen, who quieted respectfully as she entered.
"It's alright, boys. You may enjoy the show, and consider this one your colleague, for the time being," she announced, touching Telanis's shoulder seductively. Some of the men smiled knowingly, while others turned back to the stage, waiting for Laya to appear.

Laya was forced out on stage, reluctant to go out at the time they wanted her too. Hair fell in front of her face as she slid to a stop in the middle of the stage. She pushed her hair back and a flurry of whistles filled the air. Laya looked out over the crowed of men that had only seemed to thicken since she arrived.
The music began to play and at first she just stood there. She glanced at the band. Couldn't they have picked a faster song? She looked around and spotted Telanis standing with that... beast of a woman. She'd probably just give him a disease from standing next to him. She remembered her duty. To do whatever this woman said, and that would ensure the safety of Telanis.
So Laya tapped into the memories of her village... and the dances of her people. The dance was slow, but as she moved the tempo of the music began to speed up. She felt uncomfortable... and it showed in her movements. She knew it, for the crowed had gone quiet. She had to make this look good. She had to do this right. So she swallowed every uncomfortable feeling and pretended she was dancing for Telanis only...
The way her dancing changed was easy to tell. It went from being uncomfortable and clumsy to nothing short of passionate. Her hair flowed along with her as well as the skirt, which unfortunately for her was much too short. When ever she spun it showed her undergarments, which unleashed a flurry of cheers. However, there was no way around that, anyone who was standing close to the stage could see it non the less.
Fletcher sat in the front row, grinning from ear to ear as he leaned partly on the stage with his elbow, his hand holding a mug of ale. He leered, enjoying her show, though she would have surely stopped if she would have noticed him there.

Telanis narrowed his eyes as Laya appeared on the stage and began dancing. Her heart wasn't in it, and he could tell coersion had happened to make her do such a daring thing. Her outfit showed a lot of skin, which seemed proportionally related to lust based on his experience with humans. So she meant to be sexy? He started to move toward the stage and felt Amarra stop him by the arm.
"What did you do to her," he snarled under his breath.
"I made her an offer, though at the moment she's isn't meeting her..." Amarra's voice dropped off as everything about Laya changed in an instant.
Telanis stared also, mesmerized by the beauty of Laya's dance. It was like he was watching her soul dancing on the stage. Something in his chest tightened as he watched her. He wanted to be on the stage with her. He wanted to dance, and let his soul fly out and catch with hers.
"Your mouth is open," Amarra said unhappily.
Telanis closed his jaw quickly and glanced at her in annoyance, his trance broken. The fuzziness still showed in his eyes.
Amarra leaned close to him and whispered in his ear. "Enjoy this, unicorn, for after tonight you are forbidden to look upon any woman but me. You will not disobey me."
Instead of responding, Telanis's eyes shot back to Laya anxiously. It did not make Amarra happy, but she made a sour grin and crossed her arms.

Laya stopped her dance when the music died suddenly. It had ended and she looked around the crowd. It was easy to spot Telanis. He was the only person with something that would resemble a glow. "Telanis!" she gasped in a breath, still tired from her dancing. She wanted to get to him, to make sure he was alright, and to make sure he was safe. She jumped off the stage, hoping to get to him quickly.
She was swarmed immediatly, many of the men forgetting their place. Her dance had been a little to good. However, Fletcher stayed away, biding his time... it was easy to tell he was plotting something. His thoughts showed clearly on his face for anyone paying attention.
"Move!" Laya said, trying to push through the crowed, but was going no where. She suddenly wanted nothing more than to disappear. She felt hands everywhere, but where she wouldn't mind them touching. Screaming she beat them away with her fists. The room was filled with loud voices, the men talking and yelling. Whistles, the banging of fists on tables, the stomping of feet as they stampeded towards her. Who could blame them. The only woman they were allowed to touch was touched by everyone and then some. They wanted fresh meat.... a new treat. Laya was beautiful... but had something the captian did not. Innocence. Though, she had been a slave to Kron she still held some of that innocence that only a virgin could hold... Though, she might not have been one physically, she had done nothing willingly with Kron. She was not evil, she had no evil thoughts. She was pure in a sense... These men were drawn to that in her. Though, Laya would never understand that.
"Stop!" she said, pushing against them and they all laughed and told her what a marvelous dancer she was. She screamed again, feeling squished and sufficated. She felt like the walls were closing in. Like she was sufficating. She felt like they were stilling her breath. "Stop!" she said, though my faintly. Woozy, she felt so dizzy as they pushed her around. They took quick feel of her body as the music started up again, each one trying to dance with her. Suddenly she became nothing more than a rag doll to them as she felt so very dizzy and weak. She was surrounded by a large number of men, pressed tight together, pushed up against them tightly. "Telanis..." she said weakly as she thought she might faint.
The most unlikely person came to her rescue, though his reasons were his own. Fletcher pushed through the crowed and jerked her limp body from the group of people. He was much large than the rest, taller that is. He stood close to seven feet tall with broad shoulders and thick arms. Laya looked so small and fragile in his arms, like he could break her with on finger. He carried her from the crowed and stood before his mistress. He had a stern expression on his face, almost daring her to say anything to him about touching the woman again. He grew tired of her orders and looked for ways to displease her. "I rescued her," he said, grinning from ear to ear. "What should I do with her?" He glanced at Telanis, narrowing his eyes dangerously. Fletchers fingers idealy moved across the bare skin of her thigh. Almost as if he was testing Telanis...

Telanis looked at Fletcher darkly, taking a step forward into his personal space. "Rescued? You merely won at manhandling her," he said in disgust. There was more anger in his voice than expected. "Remove your hands, now."
"Now now, love, he didn't rescue her for YOU. He rescued her for me. "You may release her now, Fletcher," she said sharply.

Telanis dove forward, crashing to his knees in order to catch her in time. When he collected her weight and stood up, he looked out over the crew with scorn in his eyes, and then turned to face Amarra. "This is not what we agreed upon," he snarled.
"Boys!" Amarra shouted fiercely. Suddenly, the rowdy mob of uncontrolled men fell silent, many dropping to their knees. "I told you you could enjoy. I did NOT tell you to touch." She stepped up to one man who had been particularly physical to Laya, and placed the heel of her boot on his head. "The next time you so much as look at my new pet, you will be punished. Is that understood?"
"Y-yes, Mistress," he stammered, visibly shaking.
"The same goes for all of you!" she screamed. Nervous apologies sounded throughout the room. "Fletcher. Meet me in the playroom."
The blood visibly drained from several of the men's faces as Amarra led Fletcher from the room like the walking dead.
When they were alone again with the crew, the men still continued to be alarmingly quiet.
"W....we're mighty sorry, milady," stammered one of them. He looked like he was actually crying. "Mistress torments us, but forbids us release. We were carried away."
"But you dance awfully pretty," another attempted, taking a step forward. Telanis met his eyes and he instantly stepped back again.
The unicorn looked down at Laya, eyes shining protectively. "I am with you," he said gently.

OOC: I changed my post. I thought you ment Telanis stepped back, but after re-reading it you meant the man stepped back.
IC: Laya looked up into Telanis's eyes and nodded now that she had become fully aware of her surroundings again. Laya sat up in Telanis's arms and hugged his neck tightly as she looked at the men worriedly. They seemed to be approaching slowly, creeping up on them. Only one or two stepped froward a little bit at a time. Laya closed her eyes tightly and pressed her face into Telanis's hair. Her heart was thudding in her chest and she felt slightly sick from what had happened. However, being in Telanis's strong arms made her feel so much better. She felt protected. She knew that Telanis would do everything within his power and nature to keep her from being hurt.
"I'm just so tired of being her... slave..." one of the men said, kicking a bowl across the room. "I want something... new...."
Laya clutched Telanis's shirt in the back with her hands, pulling closer to him. She was afraid to look out at the men who clearly appreciated her choice in clothing. She wrapped her arms around Telanis's neck a little more, but not to the point she was choking him. The sleeve of her shirt came up and showed the brand on her arm that Kron had given her.
Silence filled the room and finally one spoke up. "That's the mark of a slave..."
"So this isn't the second time you've been held captive?" another said, laughing. "You have bad luck."
"Hey! Did your last master teach you to dance like that?" another asked, although his question sound fully sencere... (Cant spell)
An image of Kron's ever smiling face came to her mind and she shivered. No, he had taught her nothing but fear.
"Hey.... that looks almost like a spell... Whoever it was branded her with a spell! You must have been pretty valuable..."
"Shut up," she breathed. "Will you all just shut up?!"
"Ooooo.... we're touching a sore subject..." Though they could not see it they had brought tears to Laya's eyes.
